Qiao Rui frowned slightly and said to Li Chongming, "Please invite President He and his people to the meeting room to wait; I’ll be there shortly."

"Understood!" Li Chongming promptly went to arrange it.

Huo Sinan smiled slightly and said, "President Qiao, it seems President He is also here to discuss cooperation."

"I haven’t met them yet, so I’m not sure if that’s the case." Qiao Rui replied calmly. "But I’m very grateful to President Huo for considering the Qiao Family and discussing cooperation matters with us."

"Miss Qiao, you shouldn’t be modest. I may not have complete trust in the Qiao Family, but I do trust you." Huo Sinan said.

Qiao Rui smiled slightly as well. "I wonder what makes President Huo trust me, Qiao Rui, so much?"

"To be frank," Huo Sinan said, "I trust Gai Yin’s judgment. Since she chose to be your assistant, I have great faith in her capabilities; collaborating with you is certainly not a problem."

"Indeed," Qiao Rui replied, "The Qiao Family’s prior work is decent, albeit constrained by inadequate funding, leading to many unfinished projects."

"Shall we sign the contract tomorrow?" Huo Sinan asked.

"We may, tomorrow at ten in the morning," Qiao Rui suggested, "Let’s sign the contract here, shall we?"

"That’s fine by me," Huo Sinan responded.

"Then it’s settled." Qiao Rui nodded. "President He has arrived; I must go over for a moment, and let Assistant Gu guide you."

"Thank you, Assistant Gu," Huo Sinan smiled as he looked at Gai Yin.

Gai Yin merely gave him a cold glance, showing no particular expression.

At the elevator, Huo Sinan told his assistant and department manager, "Go ahead and wait for me in the elevator, I have a word to say to Miss Gu."

The assistant and department manager nodded in understanding and entered the elevator.

Outside, Huo Sinan glanced at Gai Yin and said, "Gai Yin, don’t feel pressured."

"Mr. Huo is overthinking, what pressure would I have?" Gai Yin’s tone was equally cold.

Upon hearing this, Huo Sinan chuckled, "As long as you’re not under pressure, I was worried that my collaboration with the Qiao Family might particularly burden you."

With a faint smile, Huo Sinan said nothing further.

He took a deep gaze at Gai Yin before entering the elevator.

As the elevator descended, Gai Yin unconsciously took a deep breath, then turned to walk back.

Upon entering, Qiao Rui saw He Zheng and his assistant, along with two senior gentlemen, seated on one side of the conference table, forming their own orderly row.

The He Family is operated by He Zheng’s father.

He Zheng is the Vice President of the He Family and has yet to assume the role of President.

Because of this, He Zheng has always worked under his father’s control, but the He Family’s rules are quite strict.

Seeing the well-behaved individuals He Zheng brought, Qiao Rui felt surprised and re-evaluated her understanding of He Zheng.

"President He, gentlemen, my apologies for the delay; there was something that held me up earlier," Qiao Rui smiled calmly and spoke gracefully.

He Zheng smiled, "President Qiao is too kind; it was impolite of us to come so abruptly!"

Qiao Rui also smiled slightly, "Not at all, President He’s presence illuminates the Qiao Family."

"President Qiao, let’s skip the formalities; we’re amongst friends. I’m here to discuss cooperation." He Zheng turned to Qiao Rui, "Would President Qiao honor the He Family with the opportunity to cooperate with you?"

"President He is truly courteous." Qiao Rui looked at him and spoke slowly, "The Qiao Family’s situation is well-known to all, and it’s indeed not great; the He Family’s willingness to partner with us is both the Qiao Family’s and my honor."

Her words made everyone pause, not expecting her to be so modest, which made her speech quite comforting.

He Zheng didn’t anticipate such a change in her demeanor since joining the Qiao Family.
