KAITO’S POV

Leaving Tochigi was the only choice that was left. I watched the hostility from the twins Seth and Steve as they watched our relationship with Kyeito. I called Commander Abram to check on the Battalion and he must have felt the worry in my voice.

" Speak up, what is bothering you?" He demanded.

I was silent for a while and then responded " The Aria twins are the mates of Kyeito. "

" What ?" Commander Abram yelled over the phone.

" Now you understand. I need to get away from Tochigi" I huffed.

" I do. Why not go to Slovakia and check how the pack is doing? I will let them know that you are coming and there is an empty villa that you can stay in. When you get tired, you can go to the villa in Russia and stay for as long as you want. " Commander Abram informed me.

" I will take you up on the offer " I informed him and we bid farewell on the phone then I packed my bags and left Tochigi. I got to Slovakia hours later and settled in the villa. The pack Alpha welcomed me as soon as I mentioned Commander Abram’s name.

A week later, I was surprised to get a call from Tizheruk and as we exchanged pleasantries he asked me " Are you still in Slovakia?"

" Yes. Commander Abram asked me to check on the pack setup" I responded.

" I would like to invite you to Sitka" He spoke up.

" What? Why ?" I asked in shock.

" I called Zineb and she seemed worried about you, " Tizheruk confessed.

" She must have informed you that Kyeito is mated, " I chuckled.

" You are taking this so well, " Tizheruk responded.

" I wondered why you called and by my guess, Zineb was unhappy and Haida pressured you " I teased him.

" You have no idea " He drawled. " Since you have time, come to Sitka, or else I will never know peace.

I burst out in laughter and felt Lucky that they all cared about me. " I will be there in two days " I responded, " Have someone pick me up at the airport, please. I will send you the flight details once I confirm the timings."

I heard Haida’s happy cheer at the end of the phone and then Tizheruk responded " Thank you Kaito. I owe you one " We bid each other and I disconnected the call.

I left the villa and went to the pack office where I met Jozef Peter, the new Alpha of the pack. We spent time reviewing the pack rules and the settlement that he had done for the pack members. I was happy to see some members of the Yakuza settled in Slovakia. We spent the evening together as they had a feast for me and we made merry till dawn.

I bid for Slovakia a day later and headed to Sitka. I arrived late in the evening and Tizheruk was kind enough to have someone pick me up from the airport. When I got to his villa, Haida rushed over to embrace me as the rest of the people in the room burst out in laughter.

"It is so good to see you " She murmured as I embraced her back.

" I am glad you invited me over. The weather in Sitka is great. I am so used to the cold of Tochigi and Slovakia was not different either"

" Welcome " Tizheruk walked over and we hugged.

" My Lord" I patted his back and we burst out into laughter. When I stepped back, Tizheruk introduced me to the man and woman in the room " This is Asheral a member of the pack and that is Meglado, my spear"

"I heard so much about you " I nodded at them.

" You did ?" Meglado’s eyes twinkled

" Yes. " I responded as I extended my hand to Meglado and she shook it willingly. I then moved to Asheral and placed a kiss on her cheek. She beamed with what happened and I felt my wolf stir from the emotions she was pushing into me. My eyes widened and I realized she was healing my wolf.

" You deserve happiness, " She whispered.

" Thank you Asheral" I nodded at her and then stepped back.

" What just happened ?" Haida asked.

"I will explain later " Tizheruk pulled her into his arms and pressed a kiss on her temple. " Settle down for dinner and then tomorrow I will have General Alexander to show you around. "

" Thank you Tizheruk " I beamed at him.

Hours later after a hearty dinner and chat, I settled into the guest room and Tizherukc came over after a while.

" You asked Asheral to heal my wolf " I chuckled.

" Yes. " Tizheruk nodded. " This is one of her powers"

" Thank you. I can feel the calm in my wolf " I responded and leaned on the balcony window as I stared out into the sea.

" The calm has returned to the shifter world and my wife wants to travel to Attu Island and visit Conri and Lucian. I need someone to watch over the babies and that is why I asked you to come. " Tizheruk confessed.

" You are family and this is not a request. I am happy to be here. I can’t explain it but my wolf has never been this calm" I confessed.

" I am glad that Sitka can be able to offer you a peaceful environment" Tizheruk nodded.

" How are Cori and Lucian ?" I asked.

" Doing well. I need to make this visit because I want to confirm a few things" He responded and seemed concerned.

" Go and do what you need to. I will be here to watch over the babies " I patted his shoulders in assurance.

" Thank you Kaito," Tizheruk nodded and left the guest room.

I slept like a log. By the time I woke, it was close to midday the next day. I took a shower and went down to the villa’s living room. I found the babies, with Meglado and Asheral.

" You are finally awake, " Meglado said.

" I have not slept this peacefully for years " I confessed and rubbed the back of my neck in embarrassment.

" Have a seat, the maids will get your breakfast" Asheral nodded.

An hour later, the guard that Alexander had sent picked me up and informed me that we were headed to the Governor’s mansion. When we arrived, I found Charry at the entrance as she was giving orders to the guards.

" Kaito" She spoke up. "It’s good to see you "

" Thank you for hosting me " I responded.

" Come, I will show you around " She placed her hand on me and we walked through the Governor’s mansion as she showed me around.

" I am impressed by the level of security you have in place " I praised her.

"Of course" She nodded " The Governor’s Mansion was built for the people of Sitka to have a place to come when in need. That is why security in the mansion is top-notch. Plus Alexander has always been a cautious man. "

" I see " I winked at her and she burst out in laughter.

" Are you planning to steal my wife?" Alexander’s voice rose and we turned around and he stood at the end of the corridor.

" Alex" Charry scolded him as she rushed over and embraced him.

I shook my head as I watched them with a smile.

"It’s good to see you Kaito" Alex spoke up as Charry stepped back from the embrace. As I approached Alex, my wolf stirred and stood on high alert. I felt him rise and could tell my eyes’ color change and stepped back.

" What the hell?" Alexander whispered and Charry stared at me like I had gone mad.

I raised my hand in defense and was about to speak when something glowed in Alexander’s hand and then a human figure appeared from the light and stood in front of Alexander. My eyes widened as my wolf declared " Mate" and the man smiled. He was a spitting image of a younger Tizheruk but his eyes were cold and he looked lethal. I remember Oliver mentioning that Alexander’s spear, called Yari, was a spitting image of Tizheruk.

" Mate " My wolf repeated and the voice boomed in my head.

I watched the shocked look on Alexander and Charry’s faces as they stared at Yari.

" Japanese wolf, Kyushu Alpha. Such a strong wolf and you have a bond with the serpent sea god " Yari spoke up and then in seconds, he moved to stand before me as he stared up at me. I felt his power penetrate in my mind and my wolf stirred in happiness.

" Yari spear, " I whispered. " I have been loyal to Bering for a long time. He saved my life and I pledge to serve him as long as I am alive. "

"I do believe I have a better name than just Yari Spear " His green eyes glowed and he challenged me.

I stepped closer as a growl rumbled in my chest and then the words spilled from my lips " Mate"

The gasps from Alexander and Charry were so loud but Yari ignored them as he stood on tiptoe pressed a kiss on my lips and whispered " I have been waiting for you for a long time Kyushu Alpha. "
