Chapter 381: CHARRY MEETS CHAKA

Alexander’s POV

The jet left Sitka early in the morning and we arrived in Chugach late afternoon. Commander Abram and Aspen picked s up from the airport.

Charry held my hand and I could feel her anxiety as her body pulsed and she trembled.

" Calm down " I whispered in her ear

" I am calm Alex" She responded but looked out the window as Commander Abram drove to the Pack offices. We got out of the car and met Hunter, Everest, and Lovita. They were waiting for us in Hunter’s office and as we walked in they welcomed us in greetings and we all sat down to have a small chat.

" Commander Abram must have briefed you about Chaka " Hunter spoke up.

" Yes " I responded.

" Chaka is locked in Chugach prison. He adamantly requested to meet you and we had no choice but to get you here. We need to make sure that we seal all the dangers that will face us. It seems that he is holding on to information and using the relationship of having you as his sister to threaten us. It will not hurt to meet him" Lovita spoke up.

" That is fine. But I have another idea, how about I meet him first " I suggested.

" Why " Charry asked.

" Because I am your mate " I shrugged but my meaning was clear, I was not going to let Charry meet Chaka alone.

" Fine " Everest nodded. "I understand you must protect your mate and Chaka is a threat. Hence we shall all meet him together.

" Exactly " Hunter nodded.

" Come on, we need to get to the mountains before it gets dark " Lovita spoke up and we left Hunter’s office and drove up the mountain when we arrived at Chugach prison, Aurora Aria and Uncle Cadman were bickering at the entrance.

" How long has this been going on " Lovita asked in wonder.

" Since she came to the Mountain " Commander Abram drawled " I have no idea what is going but every time they see each other, they start arguing."

" Interesting " Lovita responded as we alighted from the car and walked towards them.

" Alexander, Charry, It’s good to see you " Aurora spoke up before even Uncle Cadman could say a word and he rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"It’s good to be back in Chugach. I am glad to see you all " Charry smiled.

" Chaka is in the solitary cell. " Uncle Cadman announced. " I will take him out and we shall meet him in my office "

" Come on " Commander Abram left with Uncle Cadman as we walked to his office while Aurora remained behind on guards.

" Go ahead. Cadman was already irritated me enough for the day " She muttered.

Charry sat down on the chair and we stood in waiting as Hunter paced up and down while Everest and Lovita leaned on the window as they gazed out into the mountain.

"It’s getting colder in the mountain right ?" Lovita spoke to Everest.

" It seems that it will snow tonight. " Everest nodded " And then it will rain heavily for the next two days"

" Your nose is telling you so ?" Lovita teased him.

" He is always right " Hunter snickered. " He can predict the weather patterns"

" How is Tizheruk and Haida ?" Lovita turned to Charry.

" All are well. The pups are now crawling and their powers are so immense that I wonder how they will be as adults. " Charry responded and a small smile played on her lips.

" Oh my, have you also seen your brothers ?" Everest’s eyes pierced at Hunter.

" You better shut your mouth Everest " Hunter growled.

" Benjamin was complaining as to how they suckle Luna daily like a little beast " Everest added.

" You just had to put your foot in your mouth " Hunter growled amidst the laughter in the room.

" Go see your Ma and your little brothers. Born as Alpha they are bound to be great " Everest continued speaking without holding back.

" I do not even know how or why we are friends " Hunter muttered

Commander Abram appeared at the doorway and then a chained Chaka walked into the room. His eyes darted until they landed at Charry, his eyes widened for a minute and the smirk laced his mouth. I walked to stand in between him and Charry and his eyes widened and I felt him trying to read me.

" A rogue shifter like you is way in over your head " I snickered.

" Who are you ?" He demanded.

" Why do you want to speak to my mate " I asked in a bored tone.

" She is my sister, this has nothing to do with you " He raised his chin.

Uncle Cadman walked and smacked the back of Chaka’s head and then walked to his chair and sat down.

" You either speak well or I have no problem increasing the dosage in your chains. " He pointed out and Chaka looked scared for the first time since he walked in.

"Where is my mother, " He asked

" Dead and buried" I spoke up and Chaka’s eyes were filled with fury.

" How ?" He asked.

" My Lady Haida, the queen of the sea and the wife of the serpent shifter god took her down" I boasted.

" You watched your mother being killed ?" His words were aimed at Charry.

She stood up sidestepped me and stood in the full view of Chaka. " Yes," Charry nodded.

" How can you be so cruel?" Chaka demanded.

" Cruel? You killed and massacred shifters in the make of Aipaloovik" Charry snickered.

" Your father!! " Chaka snickered.

"I am an orphan with no parents and was raised by the guards of Sitka. Your words do not affect me" Charry chuckled.

" What do you mean?" Chaka’s eyes widened.

" You summoned me here to guilt trip me about our parents but you are barking up the wrong tree. I have n parents and nor do I care about your words. I just wanted to see for myself the kind of brother that I have. But it seems we were born in different times and have nothing in common " Charry added.

"Of course. You are more powerful than him " Uncle Cadman spoke up. " He is no match for you and even if I were to take his chains off, and engage in a fight, you would beat him to a pulp"

" You bitch" Charry yelled " You helped them kill our parents. You are a traitor Charry. I dont have a sibling like you "

" You are kidding me, right? Alex, I think we need to change the jail cell from Chugach to Sitka Island. " Charry seethed and I felt her anger and power radiate in the room.

Charry eyes turned black and he snapped the chains that held him and attempted to attack Charry then Yari came out and slapped him so hard that the sound echoed in the room and Chaka’s eyes widened and the black magic in his eyes disappeared. By the time he turned back, Yari had delivered another slap and this time Chaka staggered back in fear.

" How dare you attempt to attack milady ?" Yari seethed.

" Yari spear? I am seeing my things " Chaka whispered in fear.

"You know about me? " Yari snickered. " If you do, then you would know that your attempts to attack Charry or even exist in the same space with her are futile. Cadman and Commander Abram have been lenient but I am built differently. Since I perceive you as a threat killing you is my goal "

" What ?" Chaka stared at Yari in disbelief.

" No one would blame me and after all, you kidnapped Chairman Lucian Freki " Yari pointed out.

" Oh my god, he is so scary " Lovita whispered.

’" The only person who ever made me feel goosebumps when he spoke was Tizheruk but this little guy’s threat is real and his powers are off the roof " Everest whispered back to Lovita.

And then we watched as Yari moved with speed and disappeared into Chaka’s body.

" What the hell " Uncle Cadman spoke up

In seconds, Chaka screamed in pain and anguish and then he fell on the floor with a thud and then Yari appeared from his body and stood dusting his hands.

"Take this piece of trash away " He spoke up and Commander Abram dragged Chaka from the room.

" Milady, you are one in a million. Only you are worthy of being the mate of General Alexander, the second in command to the serpent sea god and the only worth of my protection" Yari bowed and Charry grinned in happiness as the rest of us cheered on.

" It was worth it for us to make the trip " I spoke up.

" Thank you, Alexander. All my fear and insecurities are settled " She stated and stood up on tiptoe and pressed a kiss on my cheeks.

" I am curious, what did you do to him ?" Hunter asked Yari.

" I broke his spine and cleared all the black magic in his body. He is a useless being from now henceforth. He will never bother you " Yari asserted as we were rendered speechless and he morphed and went back into Alexander’s body.
