It was approximately two weeks since Maurice Isla called Keith and we had arrested Alistar. The man was so tightlipped and we got nothing from him. Lovita and Aurora enforced the magic wards in the KODA council jail giving Alistar no room for escape.

There was no feedback on Maurice and we needed to close this case. Why? Because everyone was already tensed up around the pack and I had promised to take Levy on holiday.

It took seconds for Levy to realize what I said as I moved towards Maurice Isla who was planning a sneak attack his face registered in shock and he tried to evade the attack he never saw Hunter’s wolf Hemming coming only felt the presence of a large wolf that grabbed his neck and dragged him.

Maurice had no chance at all as kicked him and then broke them too. He howled in pain and landed on the ground as Hemming held him until he slipped into unconsciousness.

Hemming snarled and I chuckled at him. He walked back to the woods as I stood on guard waiting for Hunter to shift, dress up and come back.

Levy stood by the house looking furious. He walked over and then growled at me in anger and gritted his teeth.

" You used me as bait? You called my name and he took the bait and came closer? Don’t you have any shame, Everest?"

" You almost messed up the hunt. Why the fuck did you follow me? Do you know how dangerous this was? One wrong move and Maurice would have escaped or even hurt me." I seethed at Levy.

" You never told me anything. I had to follow you to find out what was going on " He responded in frustration just as Hunter appeared from the woods.

" We need to leave and get him to the KODA council jail before he awakens" Hunter stated. I nodded at Hunter and he added " What a show you put out there "There was a grin on his face and all Levy and I could do was look away in embarrassment.
