Chapter 291: SIMON MARK IS DEAD

LOBO’S POV

We summoned Simon to brief him on what happened in Sitka. He looked shocked at first and then he laughed out in hysteria. His eyes darted from Isamu to Zineb, me, and then Sayuri

"Lock him up for good, " Sayuri growled. " Ensure it is heavily guarded as we wait to behead him.

The guard rushed over but Simon was faster and then he took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed his heart. My body bucked and Zineb screamed in pain. We felt the pain he was feeling as he pushed the knife deep.

The Wolfe bond had been activated.

Sayuri growled and from the corner of my eyes, I watched as Isamu pulled the knife from Simon as he heaved and blood spewed from his mouth to the carpeted floor.

" Fucking bastard" Isamu growled.

" Now you understand how it feels" Simon smiled cynically as he fell to the ground and in seconds he was dead.

I closed my eyes and then felt the power of Simon move from his body to mine. Aria rejected it immediately while Zineb was screaming and the sounds deafened my ears. So this is why Simon came to Tochigi. He wanted to die and give his brothers powers.

" Yes" Aria growled " But we shall not accept his power"

I felt Sayuri push her powers into me and Aria welcomed her beast.

" I am sorry Lobo. This is the only way to save you " She whispered as she sank her fangs into me and I roared in pain and pleasure. In a matter of minutes, the Wolfe bond had receded and my eyes snapped open as Sayuri’s blood seeped into my veins healing and merging and Aria roared in pleasure.

" Fuck " I cursed as I held on and the power surged into me.

" Sorry" He whispered and held me close and I slowly came back to my senses.

When I looked around, Isamu was missing and the guards had already picked up Simon’s body and cleaned the floor.

" How long was I out?" I whispered.

" The last thirty minutes’ ’ Sayuri whispered as she rubbed my body.

" It felt like seconds," I growled.

"Come on " Sayuri whispered as she used vampire speed and we were off from the main Villa and arrived at the secluded villa, straight for the bed. She lay me on the pillows and sat down staring at me with worry.

" What about Zineb?" I asked with worry and concern.

" Isamu saved her. She is fine" Sayuri assured me.

" This was Simon’s plan all along. He wanted to die in front of us so that our powers could merge, and have Simon and Seth tied to us. What a fucking bastard. " I growled.

" Thank God that Aria reacted on time. But Zineb was not as swift as you and she was in pain" Sayuri informed me.

" Shit" I muttered

" I had no choice, " She whispered.

" What are you talking about? " I demanded.

" Lobo, you are now a hybrid wolf " She whispered,

" So what ?" I responded.

" You never wanted to become one. I decided for you " She answered with a voice filled with remorse.

" Have I complained? " I sat up and felt my head spin.

" You will be hit by my thirst for blood as you change. I am sorry " She stated and rubbed her arms in despair.

" Do you think that Aria would let anyone else in? He would have rejected the change if I did not want it, " I explained.

She nodded and said " Let me warm some food for you to replenish your energy"

" Sayuri " I raised my voice and she stiffened as she attempted to stand.

" Yes," the hushed response came.

" Get in bed. I need you " I stated.

She sniffed as she hid her eyes from me and got on the bed. I pulled her in for a cuddle and said " You are overthinking Sayuri. Let’s discuss more when I am awake."

I fell asleep immediately when I woke up the thirst for blood kicked in. I turned to Sayuri who was wide away watching me and then she turned her neck offering me the chance to feed from her. My fangs extended voluntarily and I sank them in, feeding from her. She moaned pulled me closer and rubbed her body into me.

The haze that we both felt was so good we ended up taking turns feeding from each other as I hammered into her over and over until we fell back on the bed exhausted.

Early in the morning, I left the secluded villa and went in search of Zineb. I found her in Isamu’s office and said " How long are you going to hide in here? "

She gracefully sat on the chair, on the opposite side of the desk. I could see the happiness and life had been drained from her face, and there were dark circles under her eyes.

"Did you sleep ?" I asked with concern.

" I was scared to close my eyes and find his powers trying to get to me," Zineb confessed.

I nodded and said " Isamu saved you just as Sayuri saved me. Life has changed for us. You need to let Isamu in and stop pushing him away" I advised.

" Did he send you to me? " Zineb’s eyes lowered.

"No. But I know that he is worried, " I explained.

" I am not going to hurt him, " Zineb snapped.

" You need to keep him close to you so that he does not misunderstand," I added.

" I know. I just don’t know how to deal with everything. Zaria my wolf is agitated"

" I understand. But if you leave him alone for too long or else you will cause a drift between you two" I stood up.

" I can sense the changes in your body, ’’ she pointed out.

" Sister, do you think that I would be formidable as a hybrid wolf? Imagine the power Aria could have?" I winked at her.

Zineb burst out laughing

" You finally laughed after a long time. " I smiled at her.

" You are too much Lobo "

" Go to your mate and that is an order, " I told her and left the main villa and went to the mountains for a run. I released Aria and my beast and felt how much power I had gained. My senses heightened, my speed increased and my body was light as a feather.

Hours later into the night, I walked into the secluded villa and found the light from the bedroom still on. I could hear Sayuri tossing and turning in bed as she tried to find a good position to settle in.

Upon entry, she smiled warmly and raised her hands to welcome me into the bed.

" Sorry. I have kept you waiting. " I apologized. " I went for a run and needed to let Aria out. "

" I guessed as much," She responded.

I pulled him closer and pressed a kiss on his head as we both closed our eyes to sleep.

Early the next day we joined Isamu and Zineb for breakfast when my phone rang and It was Aurora storm.

" Lobo, what happened? Lovita seems to be in pain and a trance for the last forty-eight hours that he can’t snap out of. " She roared.

" Simon is dead," I informed her. " Lovita needs to reject the power of Simon’s evil wolf. "

" How ?" Aurora asked.

" Only a mate can save him, " I spoke up.

" Thank you " she disconnected the call.

"That was Aurora I bet " Zineb pointed out.

" Yes, " I nodded. " Lovita has been in a trance since Simon died."

" Fucking Wolfe bond. Lobo, is there a way to break this so that our lineage does not inherit such crap" Zineb asked.

" I have no idea. " I responded.

" I think that for the two of you, the lineage is broken, " Sayuri stated. " Being a Hybrid wolf means that your wolf accepts the vampire beast hence the bond breaks and that is why you were able to survive"

I nodded and then Isamu asked, " Do you regret Lobo?"

" No brother. I am thankful for Sayuri. Once again I owe her my life and my promise to her is to be with her for a lifetime" I vowed and laced my hand with hers.

" What about your offspring?" Isamu’s eyes bore at me. " If she gives birth to a wolf or a vampire or a hybrid? Will you accept them?"

" They are my offspring" I smirked at Isamu. "Why would I not accept them? "

" Good. I made the same assurance to Zineb last night" Isamu declared.

" I have a request," Zineb smiled at us.

" Shoot " Isamu placed a hand on her cheek lovingly.

" I want to go to Chugach to meet Lovita," She stated.

" Why?" I growled at her and Isamu bared his teeth at me.

" Zaria, my wolf, feels that we might be able to help him. And Lovita did not betray us, we are all caught in the web of Pa and so much greed. I want to have a peaceful life from now on." She begged.

" I will get the jet ready" Isamus stood up and added " Both of you better get ready. Call Aurora and let her know we are coming"
