" Go to bed early and rest. Tomorrow will be a busy day. We need to recheck the pearl farm to make sure no poison or oil has been poured on it. This will result in losses. "Cyrus stated.

" Shit" I stood up from the dinner table and paced up and down the living room in wonder and frustration. My mind was in turmoil and I wondered if Ma knew what Grandmother was up to.

" I doubt your mother knows what your grandmother is up to" Tharn voices his thoughts as he walks over to me.

" What have you decided? ’’ Toten demanded and Cyrus appeared. It seemed the news had made everyone’s appetite.

" I need to confront her, " I cursed.

" She will deny it and it will be bloody" Tharn stated.

" I will accompany you " Cyrus stated.

" That will be good. " Toten nodded.

" I interrogated Amon. I doubt he will talk so it would be better if we attack Merciline and tell her that Amon exposed her. This way she will confess while Amon will remain locked up in the shed. "

We left Pearl Farm Island the next day and arrived at the Storm home. Ma was at the door when she spotted us and opened the door with a smile and it died down when she saw Toten and Tharn.

" Aurora, you seem displeased to see us " Cyrus spoke out loud surprising Aurora.

" Cyrus?" she beamed. " Welcome " She walked over and pulled him into the house.

"My problem is that your mother who was pretending to be sick planned to poison the pearl farm" Cyrus stated

" What are you talking about ?" Grandma feigned innocence.

" Is she pretending ?" Tharn looked shocked.

" Yes,’’ Cyrus nodded. " But it’s of no use because Amon confessed and her boat is on my island"

" What are they on about ?" Ma whispered to me.

" Grandma has been colluding with Amon and Lobo Aria ’’ I spoke up. " But my biggest question is why? "

" Why what ?" Ma asked looking shocked and lost.

" Why would she send Amon to put poison and oil in the pearl farm that Pa left to you?" My eyes bore at Grandmother.

"Because I dont want anything to do with that fucking bastard. So I reached out to Amon too and asked him to get rid of the pearl farm. I found nothing wrong with what I did. That fucking bastard old man Aria chased us out of Chugach, why should we accept anything from him?"
