" Aren’t these the men that took out Due in the prison "

" That would be us," Commander Abram nodded. " He sent us Lobo Aria and then the evil wolf requested us to assassinate Lucian. The minute he mentioned our friend’s name, we went back and took out Due as a warning"

" Good job" Uncle Cadman clapped. " Lucian, you better serve this fine man food"

" Yes Uncle Cadman, " I nodded and walked over and guided Commander Abram to the kitchen. Conri and Tizheruk arrived a few seconds after and demanded" What hitch was this along the way? " Conri demanded.

" There is a Yakuza woman in Alaska. A vampire. She followed us and seemed to be searching for someone. She disappeared in the mountains and we have been chasing her for hours. We have no idea what she wants, ’’ Jerusha spoke up.

" Get Kyeito here " Conri commanded and I rushed out of the kitchen to bring Kyeito.I walked over to Kyeito and urged him " Come on, help me cook some steak " And dragged him to the kitchen.

" Here he is, " I stated as we walked in.

" There is a Yakuza woman vampire, " Commander Abram stated.

" Sayuri is her name. " Kyeito stated " She is lethal. Why do you ask?" Kyeito stated.

" She is here in Alaska, " Oliver said, mouth full of food.

" She is hunting for someone, " Jerusha added.

" She must be looking for Zineb. Sayuri has always been interested in Isamu. She must have found out that Zineb is Isamu’s mate" Kyeito cursed.

" How is she able to hunt for her here? She went up the mountains " Graham asked with piqued interest.

" If Zineb is Isamu’s mate, he must have bitten her and shared his blood with her. That means that Sayuri can scent Zineb and follow her until she finds her. "Kyeito stated.

"Fuck " Conri and I cursed at the same time.

" What ?" Commander Abram asked.

" Where did you lose her ?" Conri demanded.

" Near the mountain peaks, "Commander Abram announced.

" She is on the right path. " I cursed. " She is headed to Chugach prison. We need to inform Uncle Cadman."

We all left the kitchen and headed back to the living room and by the look on our faces, I knew that Uncle Cadman and the rest of the family would surely know that something was wrong

" Spit it out, " Elder Zaya demanded.

" We have someone headed for the Chugach prison from the Yakuza council" I spoke up.

" I spotted her earlier. She circled the prison and left. She will not succeed. " Uncle Cadman looked so calm.

" Are you not worried? " Kyeito asked.

" What can a little vampire lady do ?" Uncle Cadman laughed.

" You set traps for her?" Anisha chuckled.

" You saw her coming? You can see the future " Tizheruk stood up.

" I can see what concerns me, " Uncle Cadman explained. " And she was coming for Zineb, Lobo’s sister. She is here to kill her"

" Why is he so calm?" Addison asked.

" Because Cadman is half wolf half witch" Elder Zaya chuckled. " No one can get past the prison unscathed.

" Wow," Jerusha whispered. " No wonder I could feel your magic the minute I walked in. My mother was a witch. "

"Lucian is very special. He is surrounded by all kinds of shifters. Your mother would be proud. ’’ Uncle Cadman beamed.

" You did not just come for the dinner, you came to warn us’ ’ Conri stepped forward.

" I wanted to read the little Yakuza woman’s mind. Lobo is in the final stage of mastering the crystal. By the time you get to Tochigo, he shall be one with the Tabular" Uncle Cadman stated.

Chary’s eyes widened and then she turned to stare at the door.

" What is it ?" Haida asked.

" Governor Alexander is here " Chary stood up as we heard the wheels of scars entering the parking lot and then doors opened.

Chary stood up and walked towards the door to receive them. Alexander appeared in the doorway a few seconds later and then walked directly to Tizheruk and went down on one knee " My Lord, forgive me for being late. "

" Rise " Tizheruk hurriedly pulled him up on his feet.

" You made it just in time " Haida smiled warmly at him..

" My queen, I hope you are feeling much better " Alexander bowed to her.

" What did we miss? " Oliver asked in shock.

"Is everything in place ?" Elder Zaya stood up.

" You must be Zaya Dolf. " Alexander smiled warmly at her and walked to greet her.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you Governor Alexander " She beamed at him as they shook hands.

"Everyone. This is Governor Alexander from Sitka" I introduced him. " This is my family " I turned to Alexander.

He nodded and then said "It’s a pleasure to be in your company. " He sat down next to Elder Zaya.

" The six of us will leave for Tochigo tomorrow morning, " Conri announced. " And by six I mean, Lucian and I, Tizheruk and Haida, Alexander and Charry "

" We are going with you, " Commander Abram announced. " We shall shadow you just in case "

" That is a good idea, " Elder Zaya said.

" I have prepared drones and we will leave for Tochigo directly on the private jet that I brought along. I already got the landing rights on one of my old friend’s private airstrips. "

" Well done." Elder Zaya nodded.

" We shall be staying in a villa that is two kilometers away from Isamu’s home. The scouts I sent are already in Tochigo. Unfortunately, it seems that Lobo Aria has a seer who is guiding him on how to control and merge with the crystal. " Alexander informed us.

" He is your kind, " Uncle Cadman pointed at Tizheruk.

"Yes " Haida nodded and stood to stand by Chary. " She is my bodyguard. "

"How does one digest all this information?" Addison muttered.

" One day at a time" Mrs. Hemming advised.

" Tochigi will not be an easy mission. But we need all the information that we can get so that we can prepare. Or else we shall be going in blind" Commander Abram spoke up.

" My brother Kyoshiko will be waiting for you, " Kyeito announced. " He has been a guard of the Yakuza and now he has been guarding the sanctuary where Lobo is hiding in seclusion."

" Music to my ears " Jerusha snickered.

"It’s late, we all need to go home" Elder Zaya stood up. " Thank you for dinner, Lucian.

" You are most welcome "I smiled at her.

" Come on, I will walk you out godmother" Conri walked over and took her hand.

Everyone left the mansion but Uncle Cadman, Commander Abram, and Alexander remained behind.

" Let us go over the plan, " I said.

" Before that, I need to inform you of a few things, " Uncle Cadman said. " The Tabular crystal has to merge with the Adora crystal for you to neutralize it"

" What the fuck do you mean by that Uncle Cadman" I stood up in shock.

" Sit down Lucian and watch your tone "Uncle Cadman scolded me and Conri pulled me down on the couch.

" Conri, you need to be prepared to merge with Lobo Aria. You will take over his mind and neutralize the powers of the crystal. It will not be easy, but you have the powers of the king of wolves; hence, that is my best bet" Uncle Cadman explained.

" What if it fails ?" Lucian whispered.

"Then Tabular will win and Conri will be in danger" Uncle Cadman stated.

" How can I help him?" I turned to Uncle Cadman.

" Good boy. You are now getting the drift. Your Freki powers will help him. Merge your mind with him and protect him."

" Okay. What else Uncle Cadman I feel like you are holding information " I pressed on.

" I can help you but you have to agree to my conditions " Uncle Cadman asserted firmly.

" Go on" I nodded.

"You have to accept my powers. " Uncle Cadman smiled sadly.

" What do you mean? " Conri asked, his voice was laced with worry.

" It means that I will give back the powers from your mother. Before she died she transferred her powers to me. I was not originally born a witch. I was a shifter. But your mother has had special powers since she was born. That is why she made a perfect match with your Pa."

" If it was just a transfer of power you would not be this worried " Tizheruk spoke up.

"It’s not just a transfer of power. It means I would go back to being a shifter and be dead in two years"

" Forget it " I vehemently disagreed.

" That is the only way you shall win against the Tabular Crystal or else you are going on a failing mission. "
