Chapter 179: DOLF POWERS

Stepping out of the house, Tizheruk walked to the middle of the meadow and then turned around and raised his hand to beckon me to follow him.

" It seems Dolf is ready but you are not " Adora’s voice rose from my body.

" Hurry up before Haida comes out or Lucian is back. " Tizheruk stated.

I walked to the meadow and shifted. Dolf stood strong and I felt the power of the Adora buzz through my body.

" Let Dolf take control of your shifter powers " Adora instructed.

Dolf growled and I let him take control of the shifter’s powers. I felt the buzz that ran into my body and Dolf growled as Adora pushed the shifter magic into Dolf’s mind. Pain radiated on our minds and Dolf groaned in pain. At this point, I felt paralyzed as the power streamed around our mind and body and Adora unleashed its full power. Dolf shifter powers heightened and through Dolf, I could see how Tizheruk stood in shock.

" What is it ?" I pushed the words through into his mind as Dolf remained in pain.

" Your shifter wolf is larger than normal," Tizheruk chuckled.

" How big?" I demanded.

" Bigger than a horse " Tizheruk burst out laughing.

" Dolf is in pain, " I complained.

" He is evolving and I can feel how powerful he has become" Tizhruk clapped happily.

After a few minutes, the pain receded and I felt Dolf rise and growl. The sound was so loud that the ground in the Freki mansion shook for seconds.

" What the fuck is going on " I heard Haida yell and then she went quiet.

" Did we wake you up?" Tizheruk asked Haida as walked past Dolf and then walked up the patio and held hands with Haida.

She pointed at Dolf in shock and then turned to look back at me in question.

" That is Dolf. Conri’s wolf, " I explained.

" I know. But why is he so large?" Haida demanded.

" The King of Wolves has awakened, " I announced happily.

" You are a nuisance " I pushed the words through Tizheruk’s mind link.

" How come I heard that ?" Haida gasped loudly, shocking Tizheruk and me.

" Better shift pack " I muttered and then shifted back into human form. I stood at the center of the meadow and then my legs gave way. I landed on the ground as I felt my legs weakening.

" Your body needs to adjust to the powers of Dolf," Adora announced.

" Tell me about It " I chuckled and slowly stood up. I walked into the house slowly and when I climbed up the patio, Tizheruk held my hand and walked me to the living room. Once seated, Haida appeared with a cold glass of water and handed it to me. I gulped it down and my throat welcomed the cold that burnt my throat.

" King of wolves huh" Haida smiled.

" You better not utter those words around anyone for now" I croaked.

" I bet Lucian will be able to feel your power the minute he walks in, " Tizheruk snickered.

" I can feel how his wolf power is radiating. I have no idea why but his power is so familiar. Like it’s connected to me" Haida tilted her head as she stared at me.

" How about you tell her the truth? " I said and winked at Tizheruk.

" What truth?" Haida turned to Tizheruk who groaned and his eyes blazed at me.

" It is the only way to protect her, " I whispered. " Secrets will only make us weak."

" Speak Bering" Haida’s eyes blazed at him.

" What do you know about Hnos, the daughter of Freya and Odin?" Tizheruk whispered at Haida.

Haida’s eyes widened as the weight of my words hit home. She moved away from me and then whispered " You are kidding me right ?"

" No. You are the reincarnation of Hnos. Before she dies she asked her mother to ensure in her next lifetime she is born a sea creature"

" But Odin cursed the serpent sea god because Hnos fell in love with her " Haida yelled.

" Freya put a way out of the curse. That the sea serpent had to save someone from his lineage. And that person is the king of wolves" Tizheruk pointed at me.

She remained silent for a minute and said " I always thought that it was a myth and childhood stories that the sea creatures bubbled on about "

" That is why I am connected to Conri," Tizheruk stated.

" Too much information, " Haida cursed again.

"Tell me about it " I leaned back on the couch and closed my eyes.

" Why isn’t Lucian back ?" Haida voiced her concerns after a while.

" They went to Ralph Isla’s house. It seems that Keith and Boris changed their minds about Lobo. Hence they went to plan on how Lobo will be fooled for now " I informed Tizheruk and Haida.

" Mmmh" Haida hummed. " Bering, where is your nest?"

" In Sitka" I pipped and Tizheruk cursed

" Why can’t you keep your mouth shut for once. ’’ snapped at me.

" No wonder there are layers of underground water and every time I swim through, I feel the power in the underground sea. " Haida spoke up and her voice was laced with excitement.

" No one can know about this. Tizheruk emphasized.

" Fine" I heard Haida huff.

My stomach growled in hunger and I lowered my hands to rub it and had the suppressed laughter that came from Haida. My eyes snapped open and I was about to speak when Haida said " I will cook " smiled warmly at me and left us alone in the living room for the second time in the night.

" You are making my mate work for you " Tizheruk snickered.

" You pushed me to do this and now you are having fun with it " I complained.

" Nothing comes easy " Tizheruk stood up, walked to the liquor cabinet, took out the whiskey, and placed it on the table. He left the living room and came back with one glass.

" Where is my glass?" I demanded.

" Get your strength back and then we can have a drink " A small smile played on Tizheruk’s lips as he poured the whiskey into his glass and then sipped it slowly, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

" Has he always been like this? " I projected the words to Adora.

" He has become more behaved since he was mated " Adora chuckled.

" Haida has him in check " I nodded.

" What are you yapping about ?" Tizheruk deflected and rolled his eyes.

Haida walked in with a place of food. I sat up straight as I accepted the plate and dug in without even thinking as I filled my empty stomach. The amount of power that was in my body made me hungry and weak. In a matter of minutes gobbling the food I felt some strength kick in and when I raised my eyes from the plate, Tizheruk and Haida were all smirking at me.

" Thank you " I spoke up hurriedly and then stood up to take the plate back to the kitchen. I had run away from how I had acted. Placing the plate on the sink, I picked a glass from the kitchen and walked back into the living room. I poured myself a drink and sat back on the couch.

" Haida, you were born in Sitka. You must know your way around the city. " I made conversation.

" Yes. I know Sitka well. If I were Lobo and Isamu I would get a villa by the beach. One that is hidden and secure. If my guess is right that would be the waterfront villas. They are hidden and secure. Isamu planned to access the canal by the waterfront. He must be having a boat but more so a submarine. This way he will access the canal and attack"

" Fucking bastard" Tizheruk growled.

" This means that Isamu already knows about your nest" I leaned forward and pointed at Tizheruk.

" The pearl nest? If he attacks it, then you will be forced to go to Sitka, " Haida yelled.

" Exactly. Isamu is smart, evil, and lethal. He has been waiting for this for a long time. He planned it carefully and when he got the news that Tizheruk was alive, the plans he set for years and now he is ready to attack and capture you " I informed Tizheruk.

" Over my dead body, " Haida growled.

" He will not succeed. " Tizheruk wiggled his brows.

" Did the future show you that ?" I snickered.

" No. But before he was attacked I was alone. Now I have Haida and all of you behind me, we have a better chance of winning this fight"

" Having our mates is a blessing, Tizheruk." I raised my glass at him

" I know. I had given up on you. But when I met Haida in Sitka, I already knew she was my mate " I confessed

" Yet you took too long to accept it, " Haida chuckled.

" I am glad that I am mated to you Haida or else I would be lonely all my life. I promise to treasure you and keep you safe" Tizheruk pulled her close and embraced her.
