I must have overslept as when I woke up, the sun rays rose over the room and Lobo Aria stood on the bed glaring down at me. Isamu was sleeping softly next to me and his hand was around my waist. Thank God I was fully dressed but Lobo’s fury told me he did not care if we only slept.

" What the fuck do you think you are doing ?"

" Lower your fucking voice" Isamu muttered and his eyes snapped open.

" What the hell do you think you are doing, Isamu? I told you my sister is off limits" Lobo growled.

" As you can see, your sister is fully clothed. I do respect Zineb" Isamu growled and got out of bed.

" Isamu. I have my limit and Zineb is it " Lobo stood his ground.

" Why are you not asking for my opinion?" I sat up on the bed.

" Shut up" Lobo growled at me.

My eyes widened as I watched Isamu push Lobo to the wall and his hand went around his neck and squeezed it. " You better be careful. I care for her as much as you do. I did not want this but my shifter beast, both vampire and wolf demanded that she be protected. "

" Get your hands off me " Lobo growled back at Isamu.

" You are the one that does not understand. I will never allow anyone to hurt Zineb. " Isamu vowed and he took a step back, removed the hand around Lobo’s neck, and then walked out of the room.

Lobo heaved loudly and he turned to me, eyes blazing.

" Brother, do you realize that Isamu is protective? I finally found someone who is not willing to sacrifice anything to protect me and yet you act like this?" I muttered under gritted teeth.

" Zineb, I am not willing to lose you " Lobo walked over and stood glaring down at me.

" You sound like a husband more than a brother," I retorted.

" Come on " Lobo threw his hand up in the air. " Are you blind ?"

" What? I got off the bed and paced up and down.

" The yakuza will come after you. Did you see the look on Kata and Sayuri? Or even the elders who were present. They will not let you have Isamu. " Lobo emphasized.

" What can I do? It’s none of my business " I raised my chin defiantly.

" You are brat " Lobo closed his eyes with worry.

" You are right to worry. But brother do know what Isamu told me that I am not barren" I hiccuped as I suppressed the sob that threatened to escape.

" What? How does he know that ?" Lobo demanded.

" I have no idea but he said that I could bear children" I turned around and walked to the window of the room.

Lobo walked over and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with me. " Is this how he seduced you ?"

" You are so paranoid, " I laughed.

" You seem relaxed and happy. " He whispered.

" Isamu has made me this way. I feel secure and loved" I confessed.

" You are so whipped, " Lobo laughed.

" Isamu will get you what you want" I turned to Lobo with assurance in my eyes.

" I don’t like trusting anyone, ’ Lobo huffed.

" Trust in me" I insisted.

" Fine. Shower and come down from breakfast" Lobo huffed and walked out of my room.

I heaved a sigh of relief and rushed to take a shower. By the time I was done, Isamu had walked back into the room.

" Why are you back ?" I asked him, feeling awkward.

" I wanted to know if you are okay " Isamu leaned on the door and his piercing gaze bore into mine.

" Lobo is just worried. " I shrugged my shoulders and looked away.

" Why are you not looking at me directly? " Isamu demanded.

" Why are you staring at me like that? " I whispered.

" If it weren’t for the fact that Lobo is around, I would take you right here. ’’ Isamu’s seductive tone reached my ears as my body trembled like a leaf. " And what I love about you is the reaction your body does when you are around. "

" Shut up," I murmured.

" You like the fact that I am a shameless, uncontrolled person. " He laughed.

" Go away Isamu" I turned around.

I listened in and then heard the door close. He has left. I felt a pang of disappointment that he had walked away too easily. I paced around the room, willing my body to calm down before I walked out and headed to the dining room.

I found the table had been set and Isamu had gotten two maids to work around the mansion. We had a quiet breakfast with Isamu and Lobo still throwing daggers at each other. Once done, I stood up and announced " I am going for a walk by the beach. Until the two of you agree, please leave me alone "

I knew that I was just throwing a tantrum but it was necessary. I left the mansion and took to the beach and happily strolled around since it had very few people on it. It was hours later when I came back to the mansion and Isamu was nowhere to be seen. Lobo was standing by the balcony making calls and when he sensed my presence, he raised his hand to beckon me to hurry up and walked over to him.

" This is Lyal on the phone " Lobo announced.

I grabbed the phone from Lobo and hurriedly spoke " Lyal are you okay?"

" I am. You left me, " He complained.

" It was a tricky situation. But you are safe in the KODA prison for now until I come and get you " I informed him and felt how much my heart hurt by him being away from us.

" Are you okay? Is Lobo okay? I don’t have much time on the phone and stay safe " Lyal hiccupped.

" We will. Hang in there and don’t talk to anyone " I scolded him.

" As if I would " He laughed and then we disconnected the call.

" Where did you go? Isamu seemed worried "Lobo’s brows furrowed.

" I needed to clear my mind. Away from both of you " I responded.

" I am sorry Zineb," Lobo whispered.

" I know you care about me. But I have delivered the Tabular Crystal to you. And I managed to contain Isamu" I pointed out.

" That is true, " Lobo nodded as we walked back into the house.

" And I promise to help you capture Lucian and get Conri to your side. "

" It will not be easy," Lobo whispered.

" Our informants in the pack are geared up and now that they know we are in Sitka they will work harder. " I informed Lobo.

He smiled and then asked, " How do we get Lyal here?"

" Only Isamu has the power. The informant at the KODA council says that next week would be the best time to get Lyal out. There is a meeting at the pack office and he knows that Everest and Levy will be away. "

" We need reinforcements and more wolves. " Lobo emphasized. That is the only way to protect ourselves just in case."

" Did Isamu share how he will draw Tizheruk out ?" I raised an eyebrow.

" No. But with the army that he brought along plus the vampires, I bet that it will be a fierce fight" Lobo wiggled his brows.

" I better find out if he is staying with Lucian and Conri " I informed Lobo as I walked to my room for a rest.

Hours later, just before dinner, I went down to the living room and found Isamu and Lobo having a drink.

" I must be dreaming " I smirked as I watched the two.

" No you are not " Lobo leaned on the couch in a relaxed mode

" So what did I miss?" I walked over and Isamu beckoned me to sit next to him.

" Nothing, " Lobo looked away.

I chose to Ignore Isamu and walked over to sit next to Lobo, making a mental note to soothe Isamu later.

" Pour me a drink brother " I smiled at him and he just shook his head as he picked the glass from the table and poured me a drink. All this time, Isamu looked pissed and irritated at me. " I am concerned about how Isamu will attack Tizheruk, " I said.

" Why would you be concerned?" Isamu retorted.

" If you spook Tizheruk, Conri, he will come after you" Lobo announced.

" That is the plan. And when he does, he will be accompanied by Lucian Freki" Isamu raised one eyebrow.

" They never travel alone. We have the acting wolf Luna who is the pack alpha and her mate Benjamin, Everest, and Levy, Lucian’s step sister Anisha and Zeeb her mate. " I responded.

" What about the Hybrid army that is loyal to Lucian Freki?" Lobo demanded.

" I have Hybrid friends who will take care of them. Don’t worry I have a good plan" Isamy reassured us. " By the time we are done, I can assure you that I plan to succeed and have the power of the Tizheruk one way or the other"
