Chapter 105: ANISHA IS MISSING

"Because we are going to get Hunter on our side" Anisha rubbed her hands together mysteriously.

"Dont do anything reckless. Already Tizheruk is too worried about making Dolf stressed out " Conri announced.

"Bering? Is he okay? " Elder Zaya stood up in worry.

"Yes. "Conri nodded. "Your precious Bering is okay"

We all burst out laughing at the way he said it and then Luke appeared out of nowhere in a towel, looking giddy and happy.

"Papa, Luke, and Uncle Conri" I had so much fun. He rushed and landed on Conri’s lap.

"How about you call him Papa Conri?" I asked Luke, and his eyes widened. In seconds he teared up and said "Can I ?"

"Yes, you can. " Conri rubbed Luke’s cheek affectionately.

"I will have two, Papas? That is so good. "He kissed Conri’s cheek, rushed and kissed mine, and then disappeared to his room in a flash.

"I better go after him, "Anisha laughed and left the living room just as Zeeb walked in.

"That child had so much energy, I have exhausted. "Zeeb landed on the couch and groaned.

"What will happen when you have your child" Elder Zaya raised her eyebrows at Zeeb.

"What?" Zeeb sat up" No" He raised his hands in defence.

"Anisha better not hear you. She wants children, "I informed Zeeb.

"What? "Zeeb repeated for the second time. "I am doomed."

"You better be prepared. "Elder Zaya’s eyes twinkled as she stood up and left the living room.

"You haven’t discussed having kids?" I asked Zeeb.

He groaned and shook his head. "No"

Anisha chose that moment to walk in and announced, " I am off to find Tala. Wish me luck "She grinned as she walked over to Zeeb, leaned down, and pressed a kiss on his cheek before saying "I want eight kids "

She rendered him speechless as she left, and Conri and I burst out laughing at the comical look on Zeeb’s face.

"He is in deep trouble, "I whispered.

"He will do just fine. " Conri rubbed my back. " Time to prepare lunch. " He stood up and left the living room.

"Eight kids?" Zeeb rubbed his face.

"Yes "I chuckled. "Come on, let us go to my office and finalize the paperwork for next week. "

Four hours later, after a late lunch, we settled by the garden, and we enjoyed the evening breeze as we watched the sunset. Benjamin, Tala, and Luna arrived at the mansion.

The minute Zeeb spotted Tala, he stood up and asked, "Where is Anisha?"

"What do you mean? I have not seen her. I came over because I wanted to have a chat with her, "Tala announced.

"She came over to look for you. " Elder Zaya stood up in a panic.

"We have not seen Anisha, " Luna stated firmly.

"What "Zeeb yelled.

He took his phone and called her and then cursed, "Her phone is off. "

Zeeb rushed out of the garden and then came back in seconds with a laptop. He opened it and then we watched as he opened the car tracker app and then said " Her car is at the pier. "

"Let us go" I stood up and said.

"I shall remain behind with Elder Zaya, "Luna nodded.

"I will go with you. "Tala insisted and then we left the mansion and drove to the pier.

We found Anisha’s car parked, but she was nowhere in sight. We searched the pier and nearby locations for an hour, but there was no sign of Anisha. His sent had vanished, and we watched as Zeeb panicked and growled.

"Something is amiss," Conri stated.

"I agree," I responded and huffed.

In that instance, Tizheruk appeared and yelled even before reaching where we stood, " Dont you know how to control your emotions?" He yelled at Conri.

"Anisha is missing, "I informed him.

"What? " He staggered back in shock. Then he composed himself immediately and then we watched as his eyes turned green and then walked over to Anisha’s car. He looked around and then walked towards the end of the pier. We followed him without question and then he said, "The tracks end here. She went over the water"

"What? "Zeeb’s yell came out as a growl.

Tizheruk turned around and then his eyes turned back. " The trace ends here"

"Fuck "Zeeb looked like he wanted to get into the water and Lucian grabbed him.

"What does that even mean? " Tala asked while Benjamin held on to her.

"Can you all calm down? " I demanded.

"I need to go. Go back to the mansion and wait for me. " Tizheruk removed his coat and handed it to me. He then jumped into the water and disappeared.

"Shit" Zeeb whispered.

It was already nine pm when we got back to the Mansion and briefed Elder Zaya on what happened. Luna cursed while Zeeb remained lost in thought. Luna had prepared dinner and put Luke to bed.

No one touched the food until Conri stood up an hour later and said, "Tizheruk is here"

In minutes, Tizheruk appeared. His hair looked wet, and he was out of breath.

"Breath," Conri instructed him, and Tizheruk took a minute to calm down.

"They left in a boat and ended up by the old shabby entrance into Mount Chugach. From the looks of it, it’s a Japanese boat that was parked by the pier. I asked around, and they said it belonged to Boris Carter. I have no idea why they took her, but I suggest Conri, Lucian, and I go after her."

"I am going " Zeeb eyes blazed.

"No. You will not. You will only comprise her. As her mate, you are her weakness," Conri stated, and Zeeb refused to back down. Conri used his powers on Zeeb and commanded, "Submit."

Zeeb was no match for Conri, and he fell on his knees. "Stop," He begged.

"No. You will only put her in danger. "Conri growled.

Zeeb’s eyes were filled with tears as he submitted and bared his neck at Conri. "Watch over him," Conri instructed Benjamin.

We left the mansion using the back door and into the Freki lands, deep into the forest, until we came to the edge of the river that led to the sea.

"It’s better to get up the mountains using this route, "Tizheruk said.

"If I remember correctly, doesn’t this route get to Hunter’s home" Conri asked.

"It does. "Tizheruk shrugged his shoulders as we walked on. We followed him and from a distance, we heard the barking of Hunter’s wolves "Ignore them "Tizheruk proceeded to say and Conri did the same.

After a while, Tizheruk stopped short and then turned around and stared into the woods.

"What is it?" I asked

"Hunter is following us, "Conri announced.

"What? Why? " I whispered more to myself than Conri and Tizheruk.

"He is just curious and if he messes with us, I will just petrify him and make him forget ever following us" Tizheruk chuckled and then continued up the mountain. We got to the end of the river by the waterfall that was hidden deep in the caves. Tizheruk shifted and got into the water, and I gasped as I watched him transform into a large serpent.

"You have gotten bigger, "Conri observed.

"Yes" Tizheruk’s voice reached our minds, and his power awed me. "Get on my back. We are going through the caves so that we approach the area I suspect they took her under the mountains. "

We got in the water and got on Tizheruk’s back. I expected that we would slide and fall but his back was strong as we sat on it. I bet Lobo Aria would shit on his pants if he ever saw this.

"Impossible. This is not real. " Hunter’s voice reached our ears as we watched him approach.

"You better hop on or be left behind, "Conri snickered at him.

Hunter hesitated for a second before he got on Tizheruk, and then we were in motion.

"I am dreaming "We listened to Hunter’s words as his voice was filled with shock.

An hour later, as Tizheruk navigated through the caves and came out into the sea, we held on as he rolled onto the beach and now we were on land. We got off him and then he shifted back into his human form, fully clothed.

"Why are you following us? "Tizheruk titled his head and asked Hunter.

"I am curious about you, "Hunter stated. " An old man told me that he saw you. You have a wolf tattoo on your back. "

"What?" Conri and I gasped in shock and Tizheruk seemed embarrassed by what Hunter revealed.

"What old man? " Tizheruk squinted his eyes at Hunter

Hunter raised his hands in a defensive mode and said, "This man would never tell anyone. He is by the Chugach prison and spotted you once months ago. "

"You seem to trust him. " Tizheruk nodded and said, "Let us get out of the beach and use the forest to approach the other side of the sea where the boat is parked.

"Why do you have a tattoo of a wolf on your back? "Conri demanded before Tizheruk could deflect further.

"It’s the bond between us. It created the Tatto of Dolf "Tizheruk sent the words through our mind link and we knew he did not want to let any more information out.

Conri nodded, and we all saw the look of disbelief that was filled on Hunter’s face.

"Why are the Japanese doing in Alaska? What deal that Boris Carter have to kidnap Anisha ?"

"What? "Hunter staggered back and then he rubbed his hair as he was lost in deep thought. "Where was she taken from? "

"The pier, "Conri and I answered.

"Shit!! Could it be that Anisha was going to visit Tala? " Hunter demanded.

"Yes," I nodded.

"They mistook her for Tala. They were going after Tala. " Hunter whispered.

"Why? "Tizheruk demanded.

"They want to use her to suppress me so that I can remain loyal to Lobo Aria," Hunter announced, as his eyes blazed in anger.
