Hearing Lu Moqing mention Lin Yuan, Qiao Xu subconsciously frowned, "I let her take a day off. Do you need her for something?"

Qiao Xu gave him an annoyed look and said, "There are plenty of women in the world who want to seduce President Lu. What’s the big deal?"

"Really?"

Lu Moqing’s dark eyes narrowed, "Why don’t you try to seduce me then?"

Qiao Xu couldn’t bother with his nonsense and she turned her head towards Qiao Yi.

But Lu Moqing wasn’t going to let her off easily, he pulled her face back, and under her slightly angry gaze, he said:

"She even gave me her phone number and asked me to contact her anytime."

She even gave her phone number?

Qiao Xu raised her eyebrows in her mind, thinking that the young nanny had more guts than she thought.

"So President Lu has established contact with our Xiao Lin? No wonder you’re so eager to ask about her."

Lu Moqing didn’t respond this time but gazed quietly at her, a hint of laughter emerging from the depths of his eyes, leaving Qiao Xu bemused and somewhat unnerved for no reason.

A low, hoarse chuckle escaped from Lu Moqing’s mouth as he bent down, looking into Qiao Xu’s eyes. His deep black pupils reflected Qiao Xu’s uneasy expression. As he gently brushed the tip of her nose, he asked:

"Jealous?"

These simple words seemed to strike a sensitive chord in Qiao Xu, causing her to become instantly indignant and embarrassed.
