She booked the earliest flight back to City C.

After going through boarding procedures and finding it was still early, Qiao Xu waited in the airport VIP lounge for half an hour before getting ready to board the plane.

Because she was in first class, she didn’t have to wait in line for too long. Once on the plane, she sat in her seat waiting for the plane to take off.

With her head resting on the backrest and her eyes closed, she began to think about the incident at the company, trying to find the beginning of the whole matter.

Not even ten minutes had passed when she felt someone sit down next to her. Not paying much attention, she continued to think until a gentle voice of a flight attendant came from the nearby aisle.

"Excuse me, sir, would you like something to drink?"

"Coffee, thank you."

The familiar voice instantly stimulated Qiao Xu to open her eyes. Turning her head, she saw Lu Moqing looking at her with a half-smile on his lips.

Qiao Xu furrowed her brows, just about to speak, when the flight attendant looked at her and asked with an equally intoxicating gentleness, "And for you, ma’am, would you like something to drink?"

"Give her a glass of milk."

Before Qiao Xu could open her mouth, Lu Moqing had already intercepted her with his response.

The flight attendant’s gaze swept discreetly back and forth between the two, expressing some surprise.

His handsome face was so striking that it made top entertainment industry idols feel inferior. Gossip magazines had featured his photo more than once.
