"Sleep on time."

He Jian said to Mo Roulan gently.

They were standing in front of her apartment’s door. Since she had agreed to date him, he didn’t force her to stay when she said that she should leave.

Though he really wanted her to stay.

He was holding her hand.

Mo Roulan nodded her head but felt confused as she wondered why he was behaving as if he was not going to come for dinner.

"I need to go somewhere in sometime."

"I will leave then."

She whispered and then went inside the apartment.

He Jian smiled as he looked at her silently. When the door closed, his smile also disappeared.

She seemed to be scared of something...perhaps of him.

He observed today.

But why? Did he ever do anything to scare her?

He couldn’t understand.

And how could he?

How could he know that what Mo Roulan was scared of was his gentleness...something she had never experienced before.

He Jian sat inside his car and heard his grandmother’s voice.

"Grandma, how are you?"

He asked calmly.

"I am fine, He Jian."

Grandmother He imitated his calm voice and then chuckled slightly. However, a moment later, she suddenly stopped and said

"Why do I feel as if you are less cold today?"

He Jian didn’t say anything and simply said his grandmother.

"I need your help."

Grandmother He was surprised again.

"What happened?"

Her voice became slightly serious. It was rare for He Jian to ask for her help.

"Is everything alright?"

He Jian hummed and then was silent for some time.

Grandmother He was confused again. A moment later, when she was about to ask him again, she heard him ask

"Grandma, how to win a girl’s heart?"

And it was now Grandmother’s turn to go silent.

He Jian frowned when he didn’t hear anything for a long time. And then he called out her

"Grandma..."

It was then Grandmother He spoke but it was not what He Jian wanted to hear.
