Catgirl fluffy lesbian relationship in a world filled with slavery, murder and rape. MC feels a bit naïve considering their age (not just because of new world), but it is what it is.
It's well written. The darker parts of the story will catch you off guard sometimes while you're submerged in the sea of fluff.
So far so good. Ch 94.
I'm biased because my favorite genres are fantasy + isekai + beastkin/that sort of thing + yuri + a couple other things and that basically describes this. I'm at chapter 237.
Storyline: 4/5. They've been explaining a lot more about how/why things are and it's pretty interesting. They've been delving more into the backstories and some of the sadder scenes are actually really good and well thought out. It's no lord or the mysteries or anything like that and some things are kind of unclear, so I can't give it a 5, but it's still pretty decent.
Characters: 4.5/5. This depends kinda? The main characters are pretty well thought out and have a lot of depth and very interesting backstories. The side characters aren't the most explained, but you do slowly find out more and more about them as it progresses and it's nothing to drop the series for. I don't remember any glaring issues besides some characters were moreso for 'romance' reasons and I haven't seen them in like 50 chapters. They'll probably come back though.
Overall, I just like the series. It's fun. It's enjoyable. If you're fine with a mix of catgirls, fantasy, yuri, isekai, and smut then you'll likely enjoy it. And it's not super heavy on the intimacy. Like it all happens but it's not the primary focus in my opinion. They delve into backstories and redefine characters, unlike many other series that include smut.
Well the idea/concept behind the story is nice, only slightly novel, but I mean there are others like this out there. It's decently heartwarming, except the main character instantly regresse mentality to that of a girl far too quickly, and that the execution of this idea by the author sucks. Writing is subpar, with a lack of nuance in showing ideas and emotions. Part, if not all of it feels like ChatGPT too. (Well at least up to chapter 25, where the writing is pushing my limits) 5/10. Read if you're absolutely bored.
