Chapter 954: Chapter 955 True Sequence Collision

All the Demon Hunters and Containment Officers, upon seeing the fireworks, immediately dispersed into groups to target and kill the monsters.

Previously important gathering points of the demons’ strength, such as the cafeteria, entertainment venues, defense hubs, laboratories, etc., had already been destroyed by the five allied teams, leaving the demons dispersed and fleeing in all directions.

The Demon Hunters and Containment Officers, dispersed into groups, pursued and killed these monsters more efficiently and avoided being besieged by demons.

At the same time, not gathering excessively ensured that they wouldn’t suffer too many losses during the Great Flame Demon’s frenzied attacks.

Ghost Taker looked at the rampant Great Flame Demon, a mad battle intent flashing in his eyes. Two arms grew from under his armpits, each sporting a green arm blade.

Then Ghost Taker’s body swelled, transforming into a bizarre giant beast as large as the Great Flame Demon, covered with green blades on four arms and two legs.

This was Ghost Taker’s Assimilation State, War Beast - Taker Ghost!

With a strong push from his powerful legs, Ghost Taker leaped high, bringing countless green blade shadows across the Great Flame Demon.

Even though he didn’t touch the Great Flame Demon, he left several deep knife marks on the demon’s body.

After stopping, Ghost Taker grinned and leaped a few times; the blades on his body were stained with some of the Great Flame Demon’s blood, the heat of which was incredible, burning Ghost Taker to pain.

With Ghost Taker drawing fire, the Great Flame Demon no longer persisted in destruction but focused its gaze on him, attacking him chaotically.

The heat within the Great Flame Demon exceeded the limit that a True Order Flame Demon could endure, hence burning its brain. Such a monster might fight illogically, but the power it held was truly frightening.

According to the plan, this fellow wasn’t to be dealt with by Ghost Taker alone, so Wu Liugen had already arrived behind the Great Flame Demon, using his ability to manipulate the five senses, making it difficult for the demon to hit the target while fighting.

Together, the two managed to control the Great Flame Demon, preventing it from causing harm to innocents, but eliminating it might take some time.

On the other side, Tie Xingzhou was leading his team, slaying some remaining monsters that were still gathered together.

Due to the uniqueness of his ability, members of the First Special Action Group were accustomed to fighting collectively, thus they hadn’t dispersed.

After advancing a certain distance and slaying a small group of monsters, Tie Xingzhou frowned and extended a hand.

"Stay alert, something is coming!"

Just as Tie Xingzhou’s words fell, the ground in front began to tremble inexplicably, and a continuously spinning figure burst from the soil, rushing towards the condensed team.

The target of the figure was a slightly chubby Demon Hunter, whose eyes flashed with brilliance as he waved his hands forward, and several giant iron shields appeared out of thin air in front of him.

The spinning figure crashed straight into the iron shields with a sound of metal clashing painfully on the teeth.

However, those iron shields did not stop the figure; they were torn apart like butter, and several subsequent defenses were also pierced through, with three Special Action Group members along the line being pierced through by the figure, blood pooling on the ground.

After the figure stopped, its head spun twice, flinging off the blood — it was the True Order Demon, Drill-head Grandpa!

Tie Xingzhou’s face darkened, as his team had not suffered losses for quite some time.

"You guys go slay the other demons; this guy is mine!"

Tie Xingzhou stood in front of Drill-head Grandpa, eyes seemingly ablaze.

Against such a disproportionately powerful True Order, grouping the team together would just make them targets, so Tie Xingzhou planned to handle Drill-head Grandpa alone, and he was confident of victory.

Several silver-gray chains extended from his body, Tie Xingzhou resembling a knitted sweater with its threads pulled away, leaving his body vanished, only chains sprawling all over.

Tie Xingzhou’s ability, called Iron Lock Transverse Boat, could connect different things with chains; the Assimilation State resulted in countless densely distributed silver-gray chains.

The reason he could connect the entire team was also due to this ability.

The chains slowly wiggled, drilling into the nearby ground, trees, buildings, and corpses, constructing a giant frame moving slowly.

Drill-head Grandpa stood in the middle of this frame, eyes full of wary intent.

He was confident his drill could pierce anything, but what exactly to pierce here, where was the weak point?

...

A Blood Demon glared with blood-red eyes at the young man in a black-red robe in front of him.

"You’re an Undead, helping those human Undead Gang against us; don’t you feel guilty?"

"None of your business."

A blood-colored giant hand rose from the ground, grabbing the Blood Demon.

With a squelch, the Blood Demon was squashed like a tomato, Xue Jiuyi sitting on the ground, resting his face on his hand, idly fiddling as mountains of demon corpses piled in front of him.

All demons who dared to approach him were crushed into minced meat.

As a proud crazy Undead, Xue Jiuyi had always been loyal to Crimson Overlord Wen Li, but in a sense, Wen Wen was also Wen Li, so listening to Wen Wen’s orders and fighting didn’t count as betrayal.

Hmm... That’s how he comforted himself.

Otherwise, this self-respectful guy might not tolerate his enslavement.

"Tsk tsk, Undead."

Brookley stood on a treetop, looking at Xue Jiuyi with a piercingly harsh laugh, a hint of hatred in his eyes.

After releasing the Great Flame Demon, Brookley found that his own lair had been destroyed by this guy in front of him, a place holding precious data and expensive instruments.

"What are you laughing at?" Xue Jiuyi asked coldly.

"I’m laughing at such a powerful Undead like you being spineless, willingly a human slave, you..."

Xue Jiuyi interrupted Brookley: "That conch of yours is quite interesting, let me have a look."

He prepared to present the conch as a gift to Wen Wen. During this time as a prisoner, Xue Jiuyi had learned from some seniors the three survival rules within the Sanctuary.

Which were to flatter Wen Wen, flatter Wen Wen, and flatter Wen Wen...

Unable to stomach uttering flattering words, he could only express his reverence for Wen Wen through gift-giving.

And this conch seemed to be a suitable gift.

"Do you think I’m a fool... Never mind, I won’t argue with you, after all, you won’t live much longer."

Brookley snorted coldly, threatening Xue Jiuyi, then prepared to leave.

He was a research-oriented True Order, not very adept at frontal combat. The Brain Demon clan always resolved issues with intellect.
