Chapter 830: Chu Wei’s Bomb
Chapter 830: Chapter 830: Chu Wei’s Bomb
Chu Wei looked at his hands with regret; each of his fingers bore a space ring.
With a casual twist of one ring, a gigantic object appeared before him.
It was a pack of explosives, but it was a massive cube measuring five meters on each side.
This was one-tenth of Chu Wei’s bomb stockpile, using it here really felt a bit painful!
The red-clad youth was stunned by this scene.
He couldn’t figure out what exactly this suddenly appearing big cube was.
You couldn’t blame him; anyone who saw such a thing wouldn’t think it was a pack of explosives.
And this was only a tenth of Chu Wei’s ordinary explosive stockpile.
After taking out this explosive pack, within two seconds, without anyone seeing him ignite it, the pack suddenly exploded without any warning.
The bright light made it impossible for people to see anything before them, a huge mushroom cloud rose directly in the Withered Wood Forest, devouring everything around with intense flames and shockwaves.
The dead gas clouds in the sky were also pushed far away by the explosion’s power, their concentration reduced to less than one-tenth, posing no threat anymore.
Not only the dead gas clouds in the sky, but even those Blood Handprints in the Withered Wood Forest were all activated, each transforming into a massive blood-colored hand replacing the trees, writhing madly, making the forest even more eerie.
The red-clad youth’s face turned livid; with his strength, the bomb naturally couldn’t harm him, and if Chu Wei had previously ignited the pack or pressed a switch, he could have stopped it in time.
But once this thing was taken out, it just damn exploded on its own!
What he didn’t know was that Chu Wei’s bombs were divided into two types.
One type was aimed at opponents who could be dealt with normally, requiring fuses or switches for flexible use.
The other type was targeted at strong opponents, all treated specially, with the bases of the fuses coated with a special agent that would immediately trigger the bomb upon contact with air.
Meaning it explodes right once taken out!
Amidst the chaotic blast site, a skeleton appeared from nowhere, followed by nerves and blood vessels, then muscles and skin, and within a second, Chu Wei had returned to his original state.
He looked at the surrounding scene, nodding in satisfaction.
This kind of high-yield explosive pack had an extensive damage range.
Although it couldn’t effectively harm stronger monsters, it was enough to clear out the small monsters around!
...
Before the bomb explosion, Wen Wen was on the eastern side of Withered Wood Forest, exchanging intel with Wu Liugen and others in a small ravine.
If Wen Wen hadn’t informed them about those blood-colored big hands, and if Wu Liugen and the others had rushed in recklessly, they might have suffered losses because of it.
And Wen Wen, through Wu Liugen and the others, verified some of his previous thoughts, gaining a better understanding of the Dim Domain’s situation.
The Dim Domain seemingly extends from the power of an existence above the Catastrophe, because even the Catastrophe Level couldn’t shake this Dim Domain, something Xun Ying personally tested.
However, that existence seemed to have just tossed this domain here and didn’t take care of it, so there were no Catastrophe Level monsters within the domain, with the strongest undead being the ’Crimson Overlord.’
The Crimson Overlord had set up multiple arrangements within this domain, seemingly trying to use this catastrophe to become a god and surpass to the Catastrophe Level.
Unfortunately, the Hunter Association had yet to encounter this Crimson Overlord, so there was no detailed information on him.
As they talked, everyone suddenly looked in the direction of the Barren Forest.
Then they saw a massive mushroom cloud soar to the sky, dispersing all the death energy in the Withered Wood Forest, activating the Blood Handprints into huge hands dancing wildly through the forest.
Wen Wen’s eyes lit up: "This is our chance, let’s go in now!"
Blood Handprints are only dangerous when in dormant mode; once their initial power is spent, the remaining blood-colored hands can be easily handled by even the Middle Sequence.
Wen Wen dashed in first, needing to conduct some verification.
Several giant hands reached for him, but before they could fall, they were entangled by chains, unable to attack Wen Wen.
Wen Wen had always been wary of these giant hands’ stealth, once exposed, entering the Withered Wood Forest was easy for him.
Wu Liugen and the others followed easily behind Wen Wen.
With Wen Wen opening the path, their advancement was much less pressured.
...
The red-clad youth looked at the spectacle before him, his face darkening.
He couldn’t fathom why things suddenly turned out this way.
Though countless years had passed for him, not much time should have passed for the Federation’s humans, right?
Have the Federation’s explosive packs become this big now?
Although explosives usually have little effect on superpower users,
it’s like talking about poison without discussing dosage is just nonsense, and the same goes for explosive yield.
A five-meter-tall explosive pack can’t be just shrugged off, even undead couldn’t withstand it, and the painstaking arrangements by the red-clad youth were easily destroyed like this.
Those over a thousand undead creatures now were reduced to a few low-grade resentful spirits immune to physical attacks.
Below-Middle Sequence physical undead were all wiped out; originally over ten Middle Order Monsters were reduced to just four, with three Upper Sequence undead remaining.
Of the True Order Level undead, besides the red-clad youth himself, only the Demonic Speech Meat Mountain remained.
The red-clad youth attacked Chu Wei in anger, a blood-colored handprint appeared under Chu Wei’s feet, and then a giant hand reached out, crushing Chu Wei’s body into pieces.
To not kill Chu Wei brutally enough was impossible to quell the red-clad youth’s fury.
But the unexpected happened, what was left of Chu Wei who was dead to the point of being just dregs, suddenly reappeared among the remaining undead, staring them down.
Only then did he remember, Chu Wei was essentially undead!
Chu Wei promptly tossed out another bomb, before the undead could dodge, it suddenly exploded.
A crimson halo enveloped the area, with a giant deep red rose blooming here!
This bomb was the super bomb called Deep Red Rose, which Wen Wen had seen before, specifically developed by the Federation against superpower users!
Even a Shark Warrior-like Upper Sequence Monster would become extremely weakened after enduring this bomb, and these undead weren’t stronger than the Shark Warrior.
After the explosion, of the four Middle Order Monsters, only one remained, with the other Upper Sequence Monsters experiencing varying degrees of weakening.
And nearby resentful spirits immune to physical attacks were also evaporated by the power of the Deep Red Rose!
