Chapter 660: Chapter 650: Don’t Steal Kills
The so-called Sword Intent refers to what the swordsman wants to cut through with each technique. It can sever a piece of iron wire within a heap of cotton without harming the cotton itself, or split a walnut kernel without damaging the walnut shell.
The Divine Sword, however, refers to sword techniques that only a Catastrophe-Level Expert can fully exert.
When Wen Wen swung his sword, he didn’t distinguish between what to cut and what to leave intact. Instead, he focused solely on maximizing its power to inflict the greatest damage possible on Ais.
The Ais Wakaz, completely bisected by the sword light, had parts of his body emitting a dark red gleam, rapidly deteriorating his muscle structure. This sword technique caused more dreadful damage than all of Wen Wen’s previous actions combined.
Originally, Ais Wakaz, who had only some injuries, had now completely lost the human form, transforming into two heaps of fragmented flesh—one smaller, dominated by Dr. Feng, and the larger one, by Ais himself.
The attack was gratifying, yet it did not mean Wen Wen had won. Because of the type of True Order Realm Ais Wakaz possessed, although his direct combat ability was less than that of Eightfold True-order Masters, his life force was incredibly tenacious. Even a piece of flesh as small as a fingernail could recover some fighting capability in a short time.
While Wen Wen’s attack hit directly when Ais Wakaz was defenseless, he was neither a True Order user nor a Catastrophe Level expert. His full-powered strike could only manage to completely chop Ais Wakaz’s body into pieces.
"That was a terrifying technique, but your body has already been depleted. You can’t use such a technique again,"
Ais Wakaz’s major portion of flesh condensed into a mass, pressed together and transformed back into a human shape. On top of the head formed a tentacle as thick as a finger and half a meter long, with Dr. Feng’s head at the tip of the tentacle.
Every inch of his skin was uneven, and in palm-sized sections one could distinguish a dense array of organs, bones, flesh, and skin. Even without inherent mental Contamination, his appearance alone was enough to make people vomit upon seeing him.
"A superpower user of the True Order Realm possesses some features of the ’True Self.’ What I possess is a life force that far exceeds a normal True Order’s. Even after your sword strike, my strength might be less than yours for a short time, but you don’t have the power to kill me!"
True to Ais’s words, most of the energy in Wen Wen’s body had been drained by that strike, leaving him no strength to swing another sword.
Yet Wen Wen appeared calm, unflustered, and he even popped something resembling a jelly bean into his mouth.
Meanwhile, the Blood River Sword lent its crimson stream on Ais, rapidly draining the strength within Ais’s body and greatly slowing his recovery rate.
"He doesn’t have it, but I do."
An aged voice sounded as the hunched Master Feng Bei walked out from a corner, fidgeting with a red meatball in his hand—a Monkey Jaw Thunder capable of reaching cataclysmic levels of power.
Master Feng Bei had been watching the battle all along, and since he couldn’t wield his full strength against Ais, who targeted him, he had stayed out of the fray until now.
During the battle, Master Feng Bei was shockingly surprised. He hadn’t expected this hastily summoned superpower user to nearly defeat a True Order Realm expert alone, a feat even he struggled to achieve in his prime!
But Wen Wen had reached his limit. It was unreasonable to expect him to completely eliminate Ais Wakaz. Therefore, in this final phase, Master Feng Bei could no longer hide but had to step forward to end this dispute closely linked to him.
Ais Wakaz’s face drastically changed; he knew the power of Monkey Jaw Thunder, an attack close to the Catastrophe level that could utterly annihilate him!
However, he couldn’t help asking, "Didn’t you already embed that thing in your body? Why have you taken it out again?"
According to what Feng Bei had previously said, the Monkey Jaw Thunder had been embedded in his body, and it would explode if anyone tried to act against Feng Bei, which was why Ais had not dared to strike. But seeing Feng Bei holding the Monkey Jaw Thunder now, he realized he might have been deceived.
Feng Bei, perplexed, replied, "I did indeed insert it before, but I have taken it out now. Is there something wrong with that?"
Wen Wen looked at Feng Bei’s uninjured body with a strange expression. Where had such a large orb even been inserted?
Ais, slightly panicking, said, "Your power, mine, and Feng Rao’s power are all interconnected. If I die, your power will also disappear, and without the support of that power, you, who are nearly two hundred years old, won’t live much longer. Didn’t you say before that you wanted to live as long as possible?"
Feng Bei shook his head, his expression carefree, "Previously, I thought that dying to merely block your advancement wasn’t worth it. But if my death could save your life, then I think it’s worthwhile!"
Ais Wakaz didn’t hesitate and flew into the distance; he could not afford to die here, but his body, being forcibly held together, couldn’t move very fast.
Seeing Feng Bei preparing to throw the Monkey Jaw Thunder, Wen Wen stepped in front of him and smiled slightly, saying, "You should keep that dangerous weapon. Since he was wounded by me, it’s only natural that I finish the job.... Don’t steal my kill."
Feng Bei couldn’t help but laugh and cry; even at a time like this, Wen Wen was thinking about stealing kills.
But soon, he realized that Wen Wen was serious. On the eerie blood-colored longsword, a powerful Sword Intent was wrapped around it, identical to the one that had shattered Ais Wakaz just before!
He had managed to recover in such a short time and even had the strength to deliver a second blow!
Witnessing this, Ais Wakaz fled even more desperately.
Wen Wen had never hoped to resolve Ais Wakaz with just one strike. Moreover, if possible, he didn’t want to kill Ais; hence, after delivering the first strike, Wen Wen had consumed a panacea!
During the conversation between Feng Bei and Ais, the power of the panacea had already healed Wen Wen’s injuries, and combined with the energy absorbed by the Blood River Sword, it was enough for Wen Wen to wield another strike!
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, let all be concluded."
Wen Wen held the sword in one hand and continuously threw spears with the other, quickly closing in on Ais Wakaz, then slashed at him once more.
This strike was different from the first, as Wen Wen did not aim to unleash maximum power, but rather to separate Ais and Dr. Feng.
It was not just about splitting the conscious mass of flesh that was Dr. Feng, but about separating the part that had already fused with Ais, turning them back into two separate entities!
