Chapter 650: Chapter 640 Dr. Feng’s Threat

After stroking the Blood River Sword twice, Wen Wen looked at the huge plant that Dr. Feng had transformed into and wildly said, "This is the first time I’m using the Blood River Sword against such a formidable foe, I can’t just let it pass by uneventfully... Let’s try this move..."

Wen Wen raised his longsword high and then began to swing it rapidly, with each swipe emitting a pitch-black Sword Qi!

"Sword Qi Burst Stream!"

In just a few seconds, Wen Wen had slashed out hundreds of Sword Qi, leaving the massive plant riddled with wounds. Fallen branches filled the air, along with rivers of blood flowing through them.

This move was imitated from Qiao Feiya. When Qiao Feiya executed this move, it was enough to threaten the powerhouses in the True Order Realm, which greatly shocked Wen Wen.

However, despite Wen Wen’s imitation, there was still a significant gap compared to Qiao Feiya. It could only last a few seconds, it consumed a massive amount of energy, and its power was insufficient... it had many shortcomings, but it still surpassed Wen Wen’s other techniques and was the most powerful area attack he had mastered so far!

The thinner branches injured by the Sword Qi simply broke apart, and even the thicker branches were left with deep sword marks. Sword Qi alone wasn’t enough to incapacitate the giant plant, but Wen Wen held the Blood River Sword, and injuries of this magnitude were already sufficient.

Countless amounts of life energy belonging to the giant plant were absorbed by the Blood River Sword, making both the sword and Wen Wen far more formidable. The giant plant, having lost this portion of strength, instantly became listless.

Then, like an injection of adrenaline, Wen Wen started continuously creating wounds on the giant plant, and within minutes, the entire plant had withered.

At last, with a sweep of the Rapids Style technique, Wen Wen completely severed the giant plant at its roots. It fell to the ground, smashing several houses, while Dr. Feng slumped down by the roots, devoid of any capability to resist.

Looking at Dr. Feng, who had no capability to resist, the Blood River Sword twitched, eager to pierce this man’s throat and drink his fresh blood, but Wen Wen gently flicked the blade, and the Blood River Sword settled down, obediently allowing Wen Wen to sheath it.

The Blood River Sword was very strong, even directly elevating Wen Wen’s combat ability by a notch, but Wen Wen wouldn’t get carried away just because he had the Blood River Sword.

The reason it was so crucial this time was purely because of the longsword’s inherent ability, which particularly countered Dr. Feng. If it were an Upper Sequence Superpower user attributing this ability to their own strength, even if injured by the Blood River Sword, they wouldn’t have their Essence of Life so easily taken away.

Wen Wen walked over to Dr. Feng, smiling as he scrutinized him and said, "This time, you shouldn’t be pulling out any more strange things, right? I have a few questions I want to ask you."

"I won’t tell you anything, asking is just a waste of time."

Dr. Feng lay on the ground laughing, "Oh, that’s right, you can’t kill me, you have to let me go... My setup will fully erupt in three days, and even if you kill me, it will still erupt then."

"If you kill me... the entire Tongling City, and even the areas around Tongling City, will face a catastrophe, potentially taking millions of lives with me."

Wen Wen raised an eyebrow and said, "If I let you go, are you going to give up on your setup?"

"No, but I can make a contract with you. As long as I collect enough data, I will defuse this crisis. In that case, at most a few tens of thousands will die, which is more in your interests compared to killing me."

Dr. Feng looked at Wen Wen expectantly, believing Wen Wen had only the option to compromise.

Wen Wen shook his head in refusal and said, "I have a hobby, which is to say ’NO’ to those who think they control the situation. I’ll find my own way to pry your mouth open!"

...

Several kilometers from the orphanage, another battle was taking place in a small park.

This battle, though not as earth-shattering as the one between Wen Wen and Dr. Feng, was no less perilous, as three Upper Sequence Superpower Users were engaged in fierce combat.

The parties involved in the fight were Zhu Qipei and Master Feng Bei, and Ais Wakaz.

Ais Wakaz wore only a loincloth and several metal rings with primitive designs. It was because of his obstruction that Zhu Qipei and the other couldn’t provide timely support to Wen Wen.

His way of fighting was quite peculiar, not possessing the oppressive power normally seen in High-Tier Powerhouses. If one were to judge solely by his aura, he seemed only comparable to a Lower Sequence monster, yet he managed to hold his own against two opponents.

Ais Wakaz’s physical fitness was incredibly strong, able to leap distances a hundred times his own height with the ease of a flea, and his strength was such that he could squash metal as if it were tofu. His skin, too, was unusually tough, combining traits from various armored creatures.

His weapons were his hands, with his left being a shield resembling a tortoise shell covered in scales, and his right capable of switching freely among various biological weapons like tiger claws and mantis arm blades, making his fighting style extremely flexible.

For Zhu Qipei, battling Ais Wakaz was an utterly painful experience.

Though Ais’s body was strong, Pig Head’s brawling skills were not simple either; if it were only about great strength and high jumps, he would have been chopped up by Zhu Qipei long ago.

What truly tormented Zhu Qipei was Ais’s erratic tactics—now spraying spider silk from his navel, now releasing a stench so foul it could knock a person unconscious, even breathing fire and shooting electricity...

The worst part was, he would occasionally flirt with his loincloth during the fight, causing Zhu Qipei to inevitably get distracted. Zhu even suspected that there were hidden weapons in there, making the battle utterly exhausting for him.

On the other hand, Master Feng Bei, for some reason, seemed not very invested in the fight, merely directing a giant white ape and a flame-winged bird to assist Zhu Qipei.

Master Feng Bei didn’t wish to be so detached; as a legendary Beast Tamer, his strength was not as simple as it might appear, despite not reaching the True Order Realm.

Perhaps because he had been raised by Ais Wakaz, he always felt a sense of powerlessness in their battles, as if he instinctively avoided hurting Ais. Even though his mind was filled with murderous intent, he could only exert a fraction of his full power.

This was also the reason why he still wanted to find a third person to help when he teamed up with Zhu Qipei.

Meanwhile, Ais Wakaz, while battling Zhu Qipei, continually harassed Master Feng Bei, preventing him from leaving to assist Wen Wen.

Besides, Master Feng Bei was worried that Zhu Qipei, unfamiliar with Ais Wakaz’s tricks, would easily fall into one of his many traps.

The battle grew fiercer, and suddenly Ais Wakaz’s expression changed as he looked towards where Wen Wen was fighting, showing both worry and a hint of anticipation.

Then, leaving Zhu Qipei and the other behind, he leaped high into the air, sprouting several pairs of wings with different functionalities, and flew rapidly toward where Wen Wen was.
