Chapter 434: Chapter 432 Wu Wang’s Qi

Guangyue Province, Hua Shan City.

This was the hometown of Weisu, and also the birthplace of the prison guard whom Wen Wen had killed. Wen Wen had come here to compensate the guard’s family.

Wen Wen could have simply transferred a sum of money into his family’s bank account, but doing so would have made him feel uncomfortable, so he decided to make the trip in person.

Upon entering the city, Wen Wen disguised himself. He was afraid of running into Wu Wang or those pursuing him, as he really didn’t want to get involved with anyone from Oye Water City.

The sleeping "Ensook" Ancient God could locate a person just by their name, which was far too dangerous for Wen Wen.

But after arriving in the city where Wu Wang might be, Wen Wen felt a stirring desire, recalling from Weisu’s memory that the man had many valuable things in his possession.

Substitute Scarecrow, panacea, Absolute Defense Shield... If Wen Wen dealt with Wu Wang, he could definitely make a huge profit!

The risks and benefits both existed, so Wen Wen chose to turn a blind eye as much as possible, otherwise, if he really saw Wu Wang, he might not be able to resist taking action.

After conducting a simple investigation, Wen Wen found that the deceased prison guard had a wife and a son.

The wife was a regular woman working in a textile factory in the city, earning a salary that was neither high nor low. She had good relationships with her neighbors and was considered a good woman.

Their son was in the fourth grade of elementary school, a bit naughty, frequently causing his teachers to call his parents, much to his mother’s distress.

The prison guard was the pillar of the family; to support them, he had traveled far to work in Yanling City, eventually becoming a lobby manager at Lishui Villa, and sent a substantial part of his salary home each month.

After the Hunters Association completely demolished Lishui Villa, their family’s pillar was broken. The news that reached the mother and child was that he had died in a car accident due to overwork.

This, in a way, was not bad; at least in his family’s eyes, he remained a good man.

Several months had passed since the death news arrived, and during this period, the family’s financial pressure had suddenly increased. The mother, in addition to her job, took part-time jobs during her rest periods to supplement the family income.

Clearly, their biggest difficulty was financial.

Thus, at five o’clock in the afternoon, Wen Wen dressed as an employee from an insurance company, waiting at their doorstep. Generally, around this time, the mother would go to pick up her child from school and return home together.

Wen Wen had prepared a sum of money that would be enough for the child to finish university and even start a family. At that time, he would tell them that the prison guard had purchased the insurance in advance, and he was there to deliver the payout to them.

This money would definitely help solve the family’s immediate problems and would also settle Wen Wen’s debt with the man.

Seeing that the time was almost right, Wen Wen took out a small mirror and began to practice a formulaic smile. He couldn’t let the woman suspect his identity.

Suddenly, a loud noise erupted, with chaotic sounds coming from outside the building, filled with screams and the blaring of car alarms.

Wen Wen quickly looked down from the window of the corridor and saw a large truck wildly leaving the street below, a strange aura faintly emanating from it.

And on the ground below lay two battered bodies, which Wen Wen recognized at a glance as the relatives of the prison guard he intended to support...

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!"

Wen Wen gritted his teeth as he watched the truck. As long as he could give out this money, he could be at peace, but the driver of that truck wouldn’t let him find peace!

And if it were just an ordinary car accident, then it could only be considered bad luck for the mother and son—such incidents happened every day, and Wen Wen would just sigh.

But if the truck that killed the mother and child emanated a supernatural aura, Wen Wen, of course, would seek an explanation!

He directly jumped out of the window and, propelled by the strength of the Faceless Demon, chased after the truck.

As he was nearing the edge of the city, Wen Wen caught up but decided not to stop the vehicle immediately.

If he acted like a superhero in a movie, engaging in a high-speed chase with the truck, the impact would be too significant, and the Supporters dealing with the aftermath would surely curse.

So, Wen Wen planned to wait until the truck drove to a less crowded area before handling it.

In the driver’s seat sat a man with bulging veins, hairless, wearing an expression of enjoyment, his gaze vacant and dull.

In the rear compartment, two young and beautiful women were locked; they were randomly grabbed by the man on the road. The driver didn’t even know why he did this; he just thought it was fun.

Now, he was at an exhilarating peak, unwilling to deal with anything but follow his desires, feeling a newfound, unprecedented strength that he could accomplish anything.

Just then, a shadow descended from the sky, hands landing on the front of the truck, wrestling with the vehicle.

The man was pushed forward by the truck, his feet grinding deep marks into the ground before the tires of the truck burst simultaneously, finally stopping.

This person descending from the sky was, of course, Wen Wen. He was not incapable of stopping the truck instantly, but doing so would certainly injure the hostages inside, so he adopted a gentler approach.

As soon as the truck stopped, the driver’s face twisted hideously. He grabbed a large, half-meter wrench, opened the door, and stepped down.

"Kid, you’ve got some nerve, stopping my driving. I’ll show you that messing with an old driver isn’t a good idea!"

The hefty wrench swung viciously towards Wen Wen, who squinted slightly, snatched the wrench away, and then kicked the man out.

"Tsk tsk, old driver, huh? Why don’t you drive and show me?"

After kicking him away, Wen Wen tilted his head, reevaluating the man he hadn’t noticed while in the air. Now, seeing the aura around the man, it was strikingly similar to that of Wu Wang!

Not one of Wu Wang’s Puppet games, but Wu Wang himself!

Of course, this guy was definitely not Wu Wang, but why did he have the same aura as Wu Wang?

Although the bulging veins and muscle chunks on this driver’s body were intimidating, at most they matched the level of Master Ye and certainly didn’t qualify him as a superpower user. How could such a weakling have any connection to Wu Wang?

Since Wen Wen hadn’t kicked very hard, the man wobbled back to his feet and charged at Wen Wen with a fierce grin as if he couldn’t see the difference in strength.

Wen Wen remained composed, stepped forward, and pushed his palm against the man’s chin, sending him flying away.

Before he landed, Wen Wen quickly molded the wrench into a ball and lightly tossed it, hitting the man in the face and knocking him out cold.

"This guy definitely has some issues. I’ll need to interrogate him once he wakes up."
