Chapter 357: Chapter 355 Klui’s Plan

"Thank you, Lord Klui, if it weren’t for you, I really don’t know what my children would do..." the Breeding Demon bowed to the Faceless Demon and slowly retreated out.

Klui watched the Breeding Demon’s retreating figure, his expression somber.

"Little Flame Demon Matilda, take some people and see who is interfering with our plans. If it’s someone from the Hunters Association, don’t act rashly, but if it’s someone else... make them pay the price!"

"As you command, my lord."

The Little Flame Demon Matilda, with her black and red hair, walked backward and went out. She called over some people and started to search for the traces of the ones who had disrupted their plans.

Klui settled back into his seat, toying with a tattered old mouse in his hands. This mouse was the first puppet that Wen Wen sent to the Kewei Building to reveal its Qi, and after using it, he hadn’t bothered with it.

Klui felt, though the mouse looked as simple as a toy, it might contain secrets of Catastrophe Level. If he could unravel them, he could glimpse the full extent of Catastrophe Level strength.

Clearly, his intuition was wrong...

In the Abyss, Klui was not any important demon. With his Middle Sequence strength at Disaster Level, he was merely an insignificant foot soldier under an Abyss Lord.

But in the real world, he was a Big Shot with significant authority!

Within the Federation, aside from the Demon Worship Organization "Abyss Eye," there was another power belonging to demons, completely comprised of purebred demons called the "Demon Guild."

Every large secret organization was loyal to a great Calamity Level existence in the Inner World. The Abyss Eye was no different, only loyal to the supreme ’Abyssal Will.’ To them, a purebred demon like Klui was nothing more than a monster to be used.

The Demon Guild was different, entirely composed of purebred demons. They weren’t keen on slaughter nor did they revel in flaunting their strength. Their mission was to provide special souls for the lords of the Abyss!

Every Abyss Lord was a Catastrophe Level top-tier demon, and each had their own caravan.

The ’Pure White Caravan’ Klui was part of served the Abyss Lord ’White Demon Klauri,’ an angel who had fallen and turned into a demon.

They completed human wishes by forming contracts with ordinary people and twisted human souls to the preference of Klauri.

As long as the soul was twisted and the contract reached its term, under the power of the contract and Klauri’s great strength, they could directly drag the dead’s soul into the Abyss!

Being the head of a caravan wasn’t bad, but Klui was still not satisfied. He wanted to wield more powerful forces, to become the strongest leader among all the caravans. That way, when he returned to the Abyss, he would receive rewards from Klauri.

For an Abyss Demon to arrive in reality was much harder than for ordinary monsters, so increasing his followers normally was very difficult. Against such a backdrop, Klui painstakingly designed the Human Demon Embryo plan!

The birth of an Abyss Demon involved Breeding Demons piecing together soul shards in the ’River of the Dead’, which then, under the cultivation of the unique environment of the Abyss, led to the birth of new demons.

In the real world, Klui used special Containment Items to disorient human souls, exploited twisted family situations to create endless negative emotions, and with the presence of the Breeding Demon, was able to forcibly cultivate humans into Half-Demons!

These Half-Demons were the best vessels for the Abyss Demons’ descent, naturally constructing a tiny channel to the Abyss during their development.

Once the channel was successfully built, a demon would descend into this vessel. It would take three years to fully become a new demon. Even though the just-arrived demon’s strength would degrade by a large level, as long as they went through the ’growth’ process, they could regain strength.

The entire process was akin to that of a human pregnancy leading to growth, which is why Klui named those unborn humans "Human Demon Embryos."

For this plan, he specifically found a special containment item to select humans suitable to become Human Demon Embryos, and then went to great lengths to find a Breeding Demon, which was harder to locate in the real world than a High-Rank Demon due to their weaker strength!

As for the Catastrophic Demons suitable to possess these Human Demon Embryos, they were everywhere in the Abyss!

Having met these conditions, Klui spent three years directing the Breeding Demon to complete the first batch of Human Demon Embryos.

So, the Human Demon Embryo project was a grand scheme pivotal to Klui’s future prospects, and he would absolutely not tolerate any disruptions!

The only unexpected part of this process was that every time a demon possessed a Human Demon Embryo, it would instinctively reject the original power of the Human Demon Embryo. To a Catastrophic Demon, that paltry strength was merely an impurity.

And those impurities would feedback into the Breeding Demon which nurtured the Human Demon Embryos, making the Breeding Demon more powerful the more Human Demon Embryos it cultivated.

Watching the Breeding Demon’s silhouette with a shadow in his eyes, Klui muttered under his breath, "The first dozen or so are no issue, but if another batch comes, its strength might surpass mine..."

"After finding a new Breeding Demon, I’ll just have to get rid of this one. I need powerful subordinates, but I don’t need subordinates more powerful than me..."

...

Returning to the house of the first person who did not forward the message, Wen Wen exuded a cold Qi, causing all the flying insects in the room to drop to the floor. He intended to start from here, doing whatever it took to find the source of the short message.

He dialed the phone number of the sender and then used his abilities to travel there, finding the previous sender of the message, then repeated the process. As long as he kept going like this, Wen Wen was sure he could trace the message back to its source.

Things were proceeding smoothly at first, but after Wen Wen discovered another new non-forwarder, the situation took an unexpected turn.

It was a family of four, the husband, the wife, a child still in school... and Wen Wen’s target, the husband’s father, Zhao Fei.

The demonic power inside Zhao Fei had not yet awakened, so like the earlier case with Wang Zixuan, he only exhibited behavior that was driving his family members nearly insane, without being physically harmful.

Without anyone noticing, Wen Wen silently emerged from the cell phone that had sent out the short message.

He observed the family members for a moment. Zhao Fei was sitting in his armchair with a dull expression, as if he had dementia, while the son and daughter-in-law looked extremely helpless but couldn’t neglect the old man.

Only the young child, barely in his teens, was earnestly peeling fruit for the elderly man.

Regrettably, the old man was only interested in flesh and blood of his own...

Wen Wen then began to search through Zhao Fei’s phone. The strange short message had a miraculous feature: a phone could only forward it once, and the sending and receiving records would be retained. That’s why Wen Wen was able to follow the faint clues and continue his investigation.

However, when Wen Wen dialed the number that had forwarded the message to this phone, he found it was a disconnected number.

"This is going to be troublesome..."
