Chapter 119: Delivery

Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Delivery

"Say that again?"

Lin Zheyuan’s tone grew urgent, his patience worn thin by Wen Wen’s nonsensical remarks.

"Do you think we would be as sleazy as you imagine?"

"Every issuance of the Memory Eraser must go through stringent reviews, and supporters must report each usage. Any unauthorized use results in the immediate scrapping of the device, with a report required after each use."

"Moreover, unless it’s a Ranger who has passed multiple assessments, normal Demon Hunters aren’t qualified to independently operate a Memory Eraser. It’s to prevent the misuse of it for nefarious purposes."

"Tch, sounds complicated?" Wen Wen said, digging his ear and speaking incredulously.

"This device has powerful functions, so we are very cautious in using it," Lin Zheyuan spoke solemnly. This conversation was critical to the reputation of the Association, so he was especially serious.

"Then forget it, I don’t want something that troublesome."

Wen Wen hung up the phone; of course, his purpose in calling Lin Zheyuan wasn’t to harass him but because he was very concerned about the Memory Eraser.

Such a device, capable of manipulating the memories of the general population on a large scale, could easily lead to earth-shattering conspiracies if misused.

If Lin Zheyuan had easily given it to him, then he would have needed to constantly monitor the movements of the Hunter Association.

Later, Wen Wen returned to the Sanctuary and made his way to the Disaster Area cells.

First, he looked at Qin Shuang’s cell and noticed he was still inside that Ghost Cocoon, although the energy inside it had diminished greatly. According to this pace, he should be able to leave in about five or six days.

By then, Wen Wen would have his first Disaster-Level Ghost.

Next, he walked to where three Psychic Ghosts were detained and observed these three new inmates.

Disaster-0006’s cell housed the bakery shop Ghost, Zhou Xun. The bars of the cell were covered with a net-like structure, presumably to prevent her from launching Mental Shocks.

Disaster-0007’s cell contained a male Ghost with algae-like hair and pale skin, bare-chested, where a well stood within the cell.

The last Ghost, a TV Ghost, was detained in Disaster-0008’s cell, which was bare of anything else.

These three Ghosts’ cells shared the same Runes as Qin Shuang’s cell. With these three Ghosts joining, Wen Wen’s power would become even richer.

Upon seeing Wen Wen, the three Ghosts glared at him furiously. Wen Wen just smiled and did not take it to heart.

Hu Youling pursed her lips, thinking these three newcomers were indeed like calves not fearing the tiger, having the guts to maintain this attitude. If this pervert doesn’t play you all to ruins, I won’t touch a man for a year!

Anyway, she couldn’t meet any men now, so making such a vow was fairly arbitrary.

Wen Wen first took out four Glass Beads, held between his fingers, capturing the attention of the three Ghosts.

The Water Ghost and the TV Ghost wanted to swallow these beads to gain strength, while Zhou Xun wanted to return to her family.

Then Wen Wen put away the beads, and at that moment, the three Ghosts’ attitudes toward Wen Wen softened considerably, because he held what they desired in his hands.

These four beads, Wen Wen planned to give to Zhou Xun.

Her ability to create Illusionary Realms required four family members to work. Thus, if Wen Wen let her consume these four beads, she might be able to restore her ability to create illusions.

However, he couldn’t give them to her yet, because Qin Shuang was undergoing an upgrade. If she swallowed the beads and upgraded, Wen Wen wouldn’t have enough useful Ghosts at hand.

Afterwards, Wen Wen tossed the TV belonging to the eighth TV Ghost into Disaster-0008’s cell, where she immediately dived into it like entering a doghouse.

Finally, Wen Wen walked to the door of cell one, where Xu Hai was kept, looking at him expectantly.

"Is the item ready?"

Xu Hai gave Wen Wen a sleazy smile; his previously loyal demeanor while guarding his integrity had long since vanished.

"You’ll be satisfied!"

"Quick, show it to me."

Xu Hai smiled mysteriously and with sleazy movements, he dragged a woman’s body out from a box behind him.

Delicate feet, long and snow-white thighs, a smooth belly, and finally... an ultra-realistic, grotesquely ugly pig head!

Wen Wen couldn’t help but retch a bit, if this wasn’t a transaction with Zhu Qipei, he would never degrade himself to look at such a thing.

Xu Hai looked at Wen Wen with a bizarre expression, "Thinking this thing is disgusting yet asking me to make it, you really have a perverted taste. Although I like puppets, they at least have human forms and are pretty..."

"Just put it away, why isn’t it dressed? It’s simply an eyesore!"

Wen Wen covered his eyes, but at the same time, his fingers slightly parted, revealing a sliver of a gap.

Hmm, if you ignore that pig head, this figure isn’t half bad, practically perfect...

How on earth did Xu Hai manage to use a sow and some silicone to create a human with such a perfect shape?

In the future, this prisoner must be treated well, what a talent!

Without wasting time dressing this imitation doll, Wen Wen directly shrank the figure along with the box, placing it into a black briefcase.

Then he quickly left the Sanctuary and headed straight for Furong Kitchen.

When Wen Wen arrived at Furong Kitchen, he found Zhu Qipei seated in the security booth of the parking lot, his eyes widen upon seeing Wen Wen’s car.

To wait for Wen Wen, he had started coming from the second day onwards to chat with the parking attendant...

"Where’s the thing?"

Zhu Qipei looked around, then walked up to Wen Wen and asked.

"It’s in this box," Wen Wen said quietly, looking down, afraid someone might hear.

"This small? You didn’t make it the size of a figurine, did you? I couldn’t give you the news if that’s the case," Zhu Qipei looked disdainfully at Wen Wen’s box.

Wen Wen patted the black briefcase and promised, "Don’t worry, what you want is right here; I couldn’t possibly walk around the streets openly with that kind of thing."

Zhu Qipei nodded solemnly, then led Wen Wen to his own private room.

Along the way, Wen Wen kept his head down, afraid someone would remember his face.

If seen by the unaware, they might believe these two were spies making contact.

Once in the room, Wen Wen opened the box and took out the thing. After waiting five seconds, under Zhu Qipei’s astonished gaze, it suddenly transformed into life-size.

Zhu Qipei carefully picked up the doll, his face immediately morphing back to its pig-headed original and his nostrils flared, ears turning red enough to clearly see the blood vessels.

"This, this is just perfect, you are Zhu Qipei’s friend forever!" Zhu Qipei said while fondling the doll in front of Wen Wen.

"Life-size, limbs movable, perfectly mimicking the sensation of flesh, flawless exterior, treated against decay, and with proper care, it can last for years without deteriorating."

Wen Wen spoke with the tone of a salesman, and there was even a hint of pride in his voice.

Though he didn’t create the thing, being praised for his merchandise always made him happy.
