Chapter 1284: Chapter 395 Machinery City – Dragon Hunter No.2 Chapter 1284: Chapter 395 Machinery City – Dragon Hunter No.2 The other party did not inquire in detail, and Leonard Churchill did not elaborate on the “Joker,” only nodding.
Griffith continued, “You have mastered so many sequences of the Demon God Secret Skill, so I assume you also have your own views on the ‘Domain’…”
Leonard Churchill said, “Indeed. My idea is the ‘Myriad Phenomena Domain.’
If it were a single type of domain, it would not be difficult for him.
Just like the Divine Ability [Calamity*Earthquake] which is a single attack-oriented domain, once constructed, its lethality would greatly increase.
However, after observing The Emperor’s Stele, Leonard Churchill was convinced that his idea was entirely feasible because Emperor Lanlingster had once trodden the same path.
Upon hearing Leonard’s explanation, Griffith also exclaimed, “Your domain is the most ingenious and imaginative idea I’ve heard of…”
Speaking, she continued, “However, regarding the understanding of ‘Domain,’ everyone’s comprehension of the laws is different, so the domains are different. No one can gain a perfect understanding from others’ experiences. Moreover, the ‘Myriad Phenomena Domain’ you seek to comprehend is very, very special… Let’s do this, take a look at my domain world first.”
With a measured tone, the Rebel Dragon Army Leader resembled an excellent teacher, slowly explaining her views.
Behind Leonard Churchill, the Clown illusion appeared, saying, “Hmm, please enlighten me, senior.”
Griffith glanced at the Clown Demon God’s illusion, a flicker of surprise crossing her eyes, then took out her goose feather brush and softly chanted, “Holy Domain*Spectacular World.”
Perhaps to allow Leonard Churchill to see more clearly, the deployment of the domain was not fast.
No sooner had the seal been made than Leonard saw everything around him as if it had been enhanced with an “oil painting filter,” turning his entire sensory world into a colorful oil-paint-like scene.
“Huh…”
Leonard was familiar with this sensation, having been trapped in the [Monet’s Sunrise] painting–it was a distorted world just like this one.
This was a comprehensive domain with spatial constraints and multiple law control.
Griffith explained in detail, “My domain is based on the ‘Fantasy Universe.’ Within this, I can imagine anything I can think of… like this,” she said.
Speaking, she lifted the brush in her hand and drew a circle in the void.
A magical scene then occurred–a giant fireball suddenly hung in the sky.
The light shone onto the ship, instantly becoming blistering hot.
Leonard knew she was letting him understand more accurately.
“It’s not just about changing the environment. There’s also this… or this…”
Griffith’s goose feather brush danced and leapt through the void, sketching an impromptu doodle of a monster.
The very next instant, the creature in the drawing took flight, transforming into a fierce, fire-breathing dragon soaring through the skies.
Then, with a twist of her brush, a range of mountains and a ferocious hippopotamus-like creature with sharp teeth, human ears, and a lion’s tail leaped from the mountains and pounced on the giant Fire Dragon.
The two giant beasts started fighting between the mountains, causing the ground to shake and the mountains to tremor.
But the next second, the mountains moved!
A giant arm reached out from among the mountains, looking unswift but precisely grabbing both beasts in its grasp.
The hand, as if holding two mice, stuffed them directly into its mouth.
It was only then that Leonard clearly saw that the entire range was actually an ancient Giant lying dormant.
He realized then that these were the Mythical Creatures, Behemoth Beast and Stone Titan, previously mentioned by Griffith deep in the Southern Continent.
Before him it was just a painting, yet the imposing aura belonging to the mythic beings felt as real as tangible.
Not to mention the unseen mythical creatures, even the dragon’s aura was something Leonard had never encountered before, so terrifying.
Such innate oppressive aura shook Leonard as if he had forgotten the passage of time.
It was as though the scenes just witnessed were not illusions, but an actual witness to a ferocious battle between top-tier beasts.
Only hearing a soft “giggle,” Leonard’s dreamlike state seemed awakened as he finally came to his senses.
Griffith, seeing Leonard had reached his limit, sheathed her goose feather brush, exclaiming, “You are stronger than I expected. Even someone of the Seventh Rank might not necessarily have withstood that intensity…”
His pupils focused, Leonard’s forehead was unknowingly covered in a layer of cold sweat.
As her words fell, the colorful world around rapidly faded, returning to its original state.
His thoughts still swirling and not yet settled, his ears once again caught the gentle explanation, “Those are the Mythical Creatures I once saw in the deep interiors of the Southern Continent… I’ve drawn them out here with my brush.”
“Hmm…”
Listening, Leonard slowly exhaled a breath, calming the awe in his heart.
Suddenly, he fell into deep thought.
Griffith, noticing Leonard’s expression of dawning realization, was briefly surprised but saw he truly understood.
She continued, “This is my domain–Spectacular World. In this domain, I am both the creator and the rule maker. Hence, I can paint anything I desire… The deeper the understanding of the Universe Law, the more vibrant the colors. In a way, it’s like painting the ‘Myriad Aspects of the Universe.’ However, everyone sees the world in different ‘colors’; they see different things, and thus paint differently. The world you see is certainly different from mine. I just provided some references for you. I don’t hope you to walk the same path. It’s neither possible nor suitable…”
“Hmm.”
Leonard listened and nodded, not forgetting to add, “Thank you, senior, for your guidance.”
