Xu Xiaoyan, chuckling, led Yan Fei in, and only then did she realize what Xu Laoer meant. There was another person in the room, a man. No need to ask, this was definitely the first girl of Xu family’s significant other.

He probably hadn’t been dating the first girl of Xu family for long and didn’t know much about the Xu family, other than the fact that all three sisters studied in Provincial City. He was in the dark about everything else and asked Yan Fei, "Which school do you attend? What’s your major? What year are you?"

Yan Fei answered truthfully, "I am in our high school, just started the First Year of High School, so I don’t have a major yet."

That left her significant other somewhat confused, regretting asking such a question. Looking at Yan Fei’s evasive eyes, he wondered, does this person not want to talk to me, or are they really just in the First Year of High School?

That was depressing.

Yan Fei, unaware that his words had ’killed’ the conversation, thought that since he was asked, he should ask in return. So, he too asked a question, "Which school are you from? What’s your major?"

The significant other, still muddled by his answer, replied without much thought, "I’m from the Aviation Institute, studying Power Engineering."

Yan Fei was taken aback for a moment and honestly responded, "Oh, I don’t understand."

Luckily, Yan Fei and Xu Xiaoyan arrived a bit late, so just minutes after sitting down, the dishes were served.

It was only at the dinner table that Yan Fei finally understood that the other was studying something quite sophisticated, a major related to airplanes.

After they’d barely finished eating, Xu Xiaoyan was ready to drag Yan Fei off to enjoy some alone time, but Xu Laoda issued an order, "Don’t go. It’s rare that you visit, can’t you stay a bit longer with us? Everyone’s here, let’s go out and have fun this afternoon..."

Xu Xiaoyan gave Yan Fei a look and nodded helplessly, "So where do you guys want to go? Don’t say just to the park. We don’t want to do that."

Xu Yue glanced at Yan Fei, then at her eldest sister’s significant other, and with a twirl of her eye said, "How about we go shopping? I want to buy some clothes. Winter is almost here and I only have these clothes. I’m going to freeze to death in a few days."

Xu Laoda knew her Laoer was smart yet not bookish, cunning even. Seeing her look, she knew exactly what trick she was playing. She glared and said, "You have the nerve..."

But she didn’t say much more.
