Sheng Tingyuan left home early that morning and didn’t head for the corporation; instead, he drove directly to Tang Chen’s villa.

After entering, Tang Chen handed him a box.

When he opened it, there lay the jade pendant he had once given away, its serenity resting upon the black velvet fabric.

The jade pendant had obviously been meticulously cleaned by Tang Chen and was now exuding a lustrous glow, just as it had when he used to wear it.

Sheng Tingyuan stroked the jade pendant and asked faintly, "Tell me in detail about the identity of the person who sold the jade pendant."

"She is a VIP customer of my jewelry store, and for the past few years, she has been buying jewelry every year from my store. She doesn’t buy much, but she spends generously."

As Tang Chen spoke, he passed over a piece of paper, "Here is the identity information she registered with our jewelry store."
