Chapter 629: Chapter 647: A Young Girl’s Feelings Are Always Poetry (10)

When Percy Stanton got the call from Isabel Smith, he had just had lunch with Raymond Thompson.

Although he and Isabel often talked on the phone, it was rare for her to take the initiative to call him.

So he quickly answered Isabel’s call, and happily asked, "Isabel, what is it that made you call me?"

As he said this, Percy covered Raymond with a quilt, signaling him to take a nap.

Raymond muttered quietly, "Father, I also want to talk to Sister Isabel."

Percy glanced sideways at his son, holding his mobile phone, and heard Isabel ask on the phone, "Are you free this afternoon?"

At the same time, he replied to Isabel, "Yes, why?"

"Let’s go for a walk together this afternoon," Isabel paused, then asked, "Does Raymond still need you to take care of him?"

"No problem, Ella is here, she can take care of him." Percy then asked, "Where to?"

"Let’s decide when we meet."

"Okay, I’ll come pick you up now."

"Mm."

...

After hanging up the phone, Percy quickly gave Ella Adams some instructions, then took his car keys and walked to the side. Raymond lifted his head from the bed and watched Percy, asking, "Father, are you going to neglect Raymond again for love?"

What do you mean, ’again’?

Percy raised his eyebrows but before he could speak, Raymond corrected himself, "Actually, it’s not ’again,’ it’s ’always.’"

Percy’s expression suddenly turned cold.

Raymond immediately knew that his father was unhappy, and quickly smiled brightly at his dad, then mischievously asked, "Father, is it a date?"

Percy ignored his son and turned to Ella, "After he drinks his milk, let him sleep, I’ll leave first."

Then, he left the infirmary directly.

...

When Isabel got in Percy’s car, she hadn’t even thought about where to go.

Percy slowly drove the car away from Smith Corporation, thought for a moment, and said, "To Starhaven University?"

Isabel nodded.

Percy then stepped on the gas pedal and set off.

...

This time, Percy parked the car at a parking lot not far from Starhaven University, and walked shoulder to shoulder with Isabel towards the campus.

Isabel had only stayed at Starhaven University for less than a year, while Percy had lived there for six or seven years. Afterwards, when Isabel went to the United States and never came back, Percy would drive to Starhaven whenever he missed her unbearably.

University is a hotbed of romance, that’s when young men and women experience the most beautiful season of their lives. Hearts moved, feelings stirred, they didn’t care about family matters, carried no burdens, didn’t talk about the future, but simply loved for the sake of love.

So, before they reached the entrance of Starhaven University, Percy and Isabel saw many couples, either walking hand in hand or male students riding bicycles with their female classmates.

It was spring, and the greenery at Starhaven University was beautiful, with many students sitting in leisurely places, either reading or chatting.

Percy and Isabel walked along a path of Starhaven lined with Paulownia trees. For a moment, Percy felt as if he had been transported back to six years ago.

He also had a girlfriend he loved deeply, just like the other boyfriends who catered to their girlfriends. They walked hand in hand around the school’s winding paths, occasionally sneaking a kiss when no one was looking.

Those dreams that had always existed in his memory were coming true, so leisurely and gently.

Indeed, as he felt in the morning, today was a beautiful day.

Percy and Isabel walked from the entrance of Starhaven all the way inside. As they passed the library, Percy suddenly stopped, staring at the library, lost in thought.
