After a while, Percy reluctantly withdrew his gaze from Isabel’s face and accidentally caught sight of her mobile phone by the pillow. He suddenly remembered the three hundred dollars Raymond had asked for to take her to the movies, so he impulsively reached out and took her phone.

Isabel’s phone wasn’t password protected, and Percy easily managed to unlock it. He tapped the WhatsApp icon in the bottom right corner, and the very first message was from Raymond. It contained a long list of messages, most of which were very childish from Raymond. However, Isabel seemed to have a lot of patience and responded to each one without showing any impatience, even if sometimes the replies took a while.

After scrolling for some time, Percy finally found the movie plans between Raymond and Isabel. It was a Hollywood cartoon scheduled for next Saturday afternoon at a nearby cinema.

Percy silently memorized the time and location and continued scrolling through the chat history between the two. When he reached the very top, his expression darkened.

"Sister Isabel, my dad said that I think more with my lower half than my upper half. What does he mean by that?"

"Your dad must be thinking with his essence-worm!"

When Isabel woke up the next day, the room was as empty as usual.

At that time, the sunlight outside the window was bright, and it was almost noon. Isabel rarely had the luxury of waking up naturally without an alarm. She stretched lazily in bed and suddenly remembered something.
