Chapter 106: Chapter 118: A One-of-a-Kind Gift (3)

As Percy Stanton reached out to adjust the fan on the right side of the car, his trivial movement startled Isabel Smith.

Isabel opened her eyes and saw Percy’s fingers gently flipping the air direction control button, he quickly retracted his hand.

Percy continued to drive, seemingly noticing that the occasional static from the radio signal was somewhat distracting, so he turned off the radio. The inside of the car then plunged into complete silence, eliminating the previous awkwardness.

Isabel sat in the car seat. Whether it was the lack of cold wind blowing or the occasional static, or due to Percy’s casual actions just now, Isabel felt a lot more comfortable. Her previously oppressed and heavy mood also lifted a lot.

...

They arrived at "Ten Mile Prosperity" at three thirty in the afternoon.

The street of "Ten Mile Prosperity" was a pedestrian street. Percy could only park the car in the parking lot at the north end of the street.

The sunlight outside was not as intense now, but it was still dazzling. Percy took out a pair of sunglasses from the glove compartment and handed them to Isabel.

Isabel said "Thank you", took them, put on the sunglasses and got out of the car with Percy.

Even though Percy had only met Isabel four times, he could clearly remember that Isabel wore limited edition Chanel clothes three out of those four times.

He had been to "Ten Mile Prosperity" a few times and knew which mall carried Chanel. Therefore, he took Isabel straight to that mall.

The Chanel counter occupied about a third of the floor space in the mall. Each day, countless wealthy young men and women came here to buy clothes, jewelry, and bags, including some very handsome men and beautiful women.

However, when Percy and Isabel walked in, the salesladies inside all looked at them with awe, immediately stepping forward with a friendly smile, and saying with a standard sales tone, "May I help you, sir and miss?"

Standing next to Percy, Isabel looked every bit the goddess. She smiled elegantly at the saleslady, saying, "Just looking around."

The saleslady sensibly refrained from speaking, but simply followed Percy and Isabel from not too far.

Isabel had frequently visited these upscale luxury malls, and naturally held her own in terms of demeanor.

Percy, coming from a fabulously wealthy family, had seen more luxurious and grand designer stores than he could count, and he too was equally unperturbed.

The two made their way directly to the Chanel clothing area, where Percy elegantly took a seat on the sofa, casually pulled a business magazine from a nearby shelf, and flipped through it.

Within a short while, a saleslady brought a cup of coffee, respectfully placed it in front of Percy and said, "Sir, please let me know if you need anything."

Percy nodded his head without taking his eyes off the magazine. However, after the saleslady that had been standing next to him left, only then did he subtly raise his head to glance at Isabel, who was picking out clothes in front of a wardrobe.

Isabel had a great figure, a typical standard size S. She was delicate and balanced. So for any clothes she deemed appropriate in the store, she would try them on. Every piece she chose to try on looked good on her. However, as Isabel bought more and more clothes, she became more selective, always feeling that none of them were completely satisfactory. In the end, she took them all off and went to choose again.

While Isabel was agonizing over not being able to find a suitable and stunning outfit, Percy put down his magazine, rose from his seat, and leisurely got to his feet.
