Chapter 100: Chapter 112: Out of Control Kiss (5)

"Sister Isabel, where should this building block go?" While Isabel was worrying about how to respond to Percy Stanton, Raymond Thompson reached out and pulled her to ask.

Isabel quickly took the opportunity to turn around, placing the coffee in her hand on a small table beside her, and continued building blocks with Raymond. While they built, the two chatted together about the appearance of the castle.

Percy stood behind Isabel, watching the two of them for a while before deciding to simply walk over to the rocking chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the game room and sit down.

Isabel felt a bit uneasy with Percy being right behind her, but finally saw him move away, letting out a sigh of relief. However, she noticed that he was now sitting not far away from her, directly in front of her.

Her relaxed body tensed up once again.

Fortunately, Percy didn’t disturb Isabel and Raymond after that, not even glancing at the two of them. He just held his documents gracefully and read with a focused expression.

Percy was the kind of man who could attract attention without needing to make any moves. But at this moment, he was sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, deliberately restraining his nobility and aura, which allowed Isabel to gradually forget his presence. She enjoyed playing and building the castle with Raymond.

Raymond, being a child, liked to be surprised and excited when he was happy. Isabel couldn’t help but laugh at his adorable mannerisms from time to time.

The noise made by the two was not insignificant, so it really affected Percy’s focus on his documents.

Thus, while Percy constantly seemed to be staring at the documents in front of him, in reality, his gaze was always fixed on Isabel and Raymond out of the corner of his eye.

Isabel came to his house in a hurry, not having time to put on makeup. Her beautiful face, with no makeup, held a genuine smile. Every now and then, she would raise her head, looking at Raymond with soft, glowing eyes. This made Percy frequently have the illusion that he, along with Isabel and Raymond, were a family.

On a leisurely weekend, he dealt with unfinished work from the company, while she played with their child nearby.

Percy couldn’t help but think that the black, Times New Romans Type Font, Font Size 4 text on the documents in front of him turned into images of himself, Isabel, and Raymond. His entire mood became inexplicably calm and blissful. Even his expression on his face relaxed significantly.

"Dad, Dad!" Raymond’s sudden shout startled Percy out of his thoughts. He slowly lifted his head from the documents, looking at his son. Although he tried to make his expression seem calm, there was a soft light in his eyes.

Percy looked at Raymond and asked, "What’s up?"

"Dad, look at the castle Sister Isabel and I built. Is it up to par?" Raymond stood up, pointed to the colorful castle next to him that was half as tall as he was, and spoke excitedly.

Only then did Percy turn his gaze to the colorful castle next to his son. After looking at it for a while, he finally raised his eyes, ignoring his son’s expectant eyes, and rested his gaze on Isabel’s face, who was half-crouched on a crawling mat. He concluded, saying, "It’s pretty good."

Seeing Percy’s gaze, Isabel felt a bit weak at heart, so she slowly turned her head to Raymond and said, "Raymond, after we finish building the blocks, I will help you wipe your hands."

"Okay." Raymond happily took a pack of tissue and placed it beside Isabel, reaching out his hands obediently.

Isabel took out two wet wipes and carefully wiped Raymond’s hands before taking another one to clean her own hands.

"Sister Isabel, give me the used wet wipes. I’ll throw them in the trash can." Raymond, being particularly understanding, reached out and took the wet wipes from Isabel’s hand.
