Fatty Tang said, "Old Ma just got news that Mountain Wolf has taken on a task from the Bai Family—they want to kill the two of us."

"Mountain Wolf again. What is Mountain Wolf exactly?" Chu Feng happened to ask the question he had on his mind.

Fatty Tang was at first stunned, but then he remembered that it was Chu Feng’s first time in Yunxi, so he wouldn’t know about Mountain Wolf.

Fatty Tang explained, "Mountain Wolf is the largest assassin organization around here in Yunxi and ranks in the top five in the whole of Southeast Asia. They’ve never failed a mission so far. The Bai Family really went to great lengths finding someone from Mountain Wolf to kill us."

After hearing Fatty Tang’s words, Chu Feng realized that Mountain Wolf was indeed an assassin organization.

Chu Feng furrowed his brow and said, "Is such an organization even allowed to exist within Huaxia’s borders?"

Fatty Tang replied, "Of course, Mountain Wolf wouldn’t dare set up their headquarters in Huaxia. It’s said that their base is in a mountainous area in Myanmar, but no one knows the exact location."

Fatty Tang, seeing Chu Feng still concerned about these matters at such a time, urged impatiently, "Come on, Brother Chu, they’re practically pointing barrels at our heads. Can’t you be a bit more anxious?"

Chu Feng replied with a smile, "Brother Ma, since you consider me a brother, let’s not talk about who’s troubling whom. It makes us seem distant."

Upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, Ma Hong felt a warmth in his heart.

Fatty Tang, growing restless, asked, "Old Ma, how’s the situation being handled?"

Ma Hong’s face darkened as he mentioned the matter, "I’ve already used all my connections, but I still can’t get in touch with someone who calls the shots in Mountain Wolf to cancel the hit ordered by the Bai Family."

Fatty Tang’s face fell upon hearing this, "Then what do we do?"

Ma Hong said, "I’ll increase security around us in the coming days and you two should not leave the Ma Family’s premises for the time being. Additionally, I will arrange to have both of you sent back to East River as soon as possible. Once you are back on the mainland, Mountain Wolf won’t be able to reach you. You’ll both be mostly safe."

Fatty Tang’s face turned grim, "That’s the only thing we can do."

After speaking, Fatty Tang didn’t forget to curse through clenched teeth, "Damn it, that old man wants me dead. Just wait until I get back to East River, he’s not going to have an easy time."
