After the meal, Rao Ning hurried to wash the dishes, leaving Xie Mengying no choice but to let her.

"Jianguo, Brother, Sister-in-Law, you guys sit here for a while. I’ll go help in the kitchen and also see if you have the faces of those who will bear sons. Let’s see when you can hold a grandchild," Chu Feng said.

"Yes! Yes! Go ahead." Lin Xue Mei had been dreaming of holding a grandchild, and upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, she promptly responded.

Turning around to face Chu Feng, Rao Ning said, "I don’t know who sent me. My connection with the organization is one-way; I don’t know what mission the organization is handling. My only task was to get close to He Jianguo and gather all his whereabouts and information."

Chu Feng scoffed, "And to kill him at a critical moment, right?"

Rao Ning nodded and replied, "Yes. The organization did have such an order, but I couldn’t go through with it. I have already betrayed the organization. I killed the contact person. I would rather die myself than see Jianguo get hurt."

Chu Feng stared at Rao Ning and said, "You told me all this, do you expect me to sympathize with you, to keep your secret?"

Rao Ning shook her head and said, "No. I never thought about anyone forgiving me, and I never intended to keep it from Jianguo. But now, I’m not sure if the organization will still send someone else. I stayed by Jianguo’s side with only one purpose: to ensure his safety. But now, with you here, his safety is assured."

Chu Feng observed Rao Ning, trying to gauge which parts of her statement were true and which were false.

"Tell me the name of your organization?" Chu Feng demanded.

"Hell God!" Rao Ning said.

Rao Ning said, "I don’t know, I’m only responsible for carrying out tasks, not their purposes. However, I did get some information from the person I contact alone. They seem to be employed by the Elite Society with the purpose of undermining the stability of East River."
