Chapter 532: Chapter 0534: I Didn’t See It

Chu Feng returned home and didn’t alert anyone.

The next morning, Chu Feng handed over the transfer document with Paul’s hand seal to Cui Jingyan. As for the name, Chu Feng really didn’t care what it was called.

Cui Jingyan was somewhat dumbfounded when she saw the property transfer document. She didn’t know how Chu Feng had managed it. Just one night, and her Fengjing Group had acquired an additional pharmaceutical factory.

Ning Xiaoman was equally puzzled when she went to handle the transfer, as the staff at the pharmaceutical factory were unaware of any transfer. However, the document wasn’t fake, and the Fengjing Group indeed had acquired another pharmaceutical factory.

Chu Feng returned to school and continued his life as a student.

However, having taken two days off, his sudden return made his classmates a bit uneasy.

"You still know how to come back? We thought you went wild outside and were ready to drop out," Tie Mu punched Chu Feng and said.

Chu Feng rubbed his shoulder and said, "You violent maniac, do you also treat Tian Tian like this?"

"He wouldn’t dare," Tian Tian gave Tie Mu a cold look and said.

Tie Mu chuckled and said to Tian Tian, "Tian Tian, I need to talk to Chu Feng alone for a bit."

Tian Tian said, "As if anyone cares about your shady dealings."

Chu Feng said, "Sister-in-Law, there’s really nothing shady between us; you can listen in. Sister-in-Law, don’t go, I’m not fragile."

"Bang!" Tie Mu threw another punch and cursed, "You’re the fragile one, I’m a real man!"

Chu Feng and Tie Mu stepped outside the classroom to find a quiet spot, where Tie Mu said, "Honestly, I really thought you might not come back this time."

Chu Feng knew what Tie Mu meant. He sighed and said, "I’m afraid I really won’t be able to complete my studies properly, but I’ll stick with it as long as I can. I like the feeling of going to school."

Tie Mu said, "I like this feeling too, but people like us are destined to have a hard time completing our education. My dad has already begun arranging for me to take over some family business. But as you know, I’m really not interested in those matters."

Chu Feng smiled and asked, "Is there anything I can help with?"

Tie Mu shook his head and said, "You’ve already helped us a lot, and now with Dragon Soul status siding with me, there are really few who dare to mess with me. Besides, the main focus of the Tie Family isn’t on business, so taking over is relatively easy."

Chu Feng nodded and said, "That’s good, but if you need any help, just say the word."

Tie Mu smiled and said, "Don’t worry, I won’t be shy about it."

Chu Feng glanced at Tian Tian inside the classroom and said, "What about Tian Tian?"

Tie Mu smiled sheepishly and said, "I took her home, and my dad really likes her. He’s urging me to arrange a meeting between both our parents. But we’re still so young, it’s a bit early for parental meetings."

Chu Feng smiled and said, "Wow, talking about marriage already. You’re moving faster than me. Let me know when you’re getting married; I’ll give you a big gift."

Tie Mu said, "You won’t be able to escape giving that big gift."

After a pause, Tie Mu expressed, "I really don’t want to leave school; the school vibe is so good."

Chu Feng nodded and said nothing, but he had already made a decision in his heart.

"Alright, you go back to class; I’m going to find Teacher Xie." Chu Feng glanced at the time and said.

Tie Mu said, "Are you not going to class?"

Chu Feng said, "I’ve already taken two days off, I don’t mind skipping this class either."

Chu Feng finished speaking, then headed towards the teachers’ office.

Chu Feng had been to Xie Mengying’s office before, which was on the tenth floor of the school’s comprehensive building.

Chu Feng reached the office, knocked on the door, and then directly entered.

Xie Mengying’s desk was inside the office, facing away from the door, so Xie Mengying did not notice when Chu Feng entered.

However, Chu Feng saw a dapper man in a suit, holding flowers, standing in front of Xie Mengying.

"Mengying, this is for you. I’ve booked tonight’s opera, the first show from Broadway to come to Huaxia. It was hard to get tickets," the young and handsome man said with a hint of pride.

Without even lifting her eyelids, Xie Mengying said, "I’m not interested."

"If you don’t like operas, we can watch a movie."

"I’m not interested."

"Or I can take you out for dinner. There’s a new restaurant in East River that’s quite good. My treat."

"I’m not interested."

"Then what are you interested in? Just tell me, and I will make it happen," the man persisted.

"She likes to be alone quietly for a while," Chu Feng said softly.

Hearing Chu Feng’s words, both Xie Mengying and the handsome man turned their heads.

Upon seeing Chu Feng, a glint of light appeared in Xie Mengying’s eyes, while a flash of resentment crossed the handsome man’s eyes.

"Which class are you from? Don’t you know this is an office? Who let you come in just like that?" the handsome man demanded with an air of authority.

Chu Feng replied, "I knocked earlier, and everyone else in the office heard it. Besides, you asked which student I am; I am her student."

"How is a student speaking to a teacher like this?" the handsome man said, gaining more confidence knowing Chu Feng was indeed a student.

Chu Feng said, "I’m sorry, I honestly didn’t realize you were a teacher. I thought you were just a delivery boy harassing my teacher here. I was about to call the police. It really surprised me that you’re a teacher; you don’t quite look the part."

Initially, Chu Feng’s first half of the statement made the handsome man feel a bit better, but the second half nearly made him furious.

"Pfft!"

Not only Xie Mengying but also the other teachers in the office couldn’t help but laugh.

Caught off guard by being roasted by a student, the handsome man became annoyed and said, "Who is your class advisor, your department head?"

Chu Feng replied, "I told you already, I’m her student. You can talk to her. Also, I don’t think I said anything wrong. I’m sorry if I lack sophistication, but please point it out so that, as a student, I can learn from this and better my knowledge."

"You... you..." the handsome man struggled for a moment, as he couldn’t really pinpoint what Chu Feng had said wrong.

After all, Chu Feng had indeed apologized before stating his assumption, which wasn’t wrong.

Still, the handsome man felt insulted even though he couldn’t articulate why.

"Teacher, do you feel I insulted you? I really didn’t mean to insult you. Think about it, if I hadn’t told you I’m a student, you would certainly have your own guesses. For instance, you might guess I’m a rich second-generation, or a government official’s kid, or that I’m tall, rich, and handsome. If you would say so, I definitely wouldn’t blame you," Chu Feng said earnestly.
