Chapter 528: Chapter 0530 Cancer [Part 3]

After realizing all this, Dong Wanliang was not only sweating coldly, but his body also shuddered.

Chu Feng looked at Dong Wanliang and said, "Have you figured it out?"

Dong Wanliang nodded vigorously and said, "Young Master Chu, I understand."

Chu Feng continued, "So do you still think I’m making a mountain out of a molehill? Do you still think I acted too harshly?"

Dong Wanliang shook his head vigorously and said, "Not harsh."

Chu Feng said, "You want to advance further, you want to soar, but these are like a tumor to you. Maybe nobody points it out now, but if the day comes when someone does, it will poison you to death. I’m helping you, so I don’t want to see you die."

Dong Wanliang bowed deeply, at a ninety-degree angle, and said, "Thank you, Young Master Chu, for the advice. I know what to do now."

Chu Feng nodded and said, "Go. Don’t rush things in Songjiang, and try not to go there too often; it’s not the battleground you’re familiar with. I’ve caused the Bai Family a great loss; they won’t let it go just like that, so be careful."

Dong Wanliang said, "Thank you for your concern, Young Master Chu."

Chu Feng stood up and said, "I’ll take her with me, and I’ll have her come here to process her resignation tomorrow."

Dong Wanliang said, "Alright."

"Let’s go," Chu Feng said to Mo Fang and Tan Ya’s family.

Tan Ya’s parents had not really thought much of Chu Feng before, but now, seeing Dong Wanliang, a clearly successful individual, showing such respect to Chu Feng, they couldn’t help feeling a bit uneasy.

Except for Mo Fang, Tan Ya’s family carefully followed behind Chu Feng.

When Chu Feng came out of the private room, he looked at President Sun and his group waiting outside and slightly smiled, saying, "Your boss told you to go in."

After walking a few steps, Chu Feng added, "By the way, I always keep my word. Whichever of you laid hands on those scumbags, I expect them to lie down themselves in a while."

After Chu Feng finished speaking, he left with his group.

"All of you get in here!" Dong Wanliang’s rage could be imagined; today, if not for Chu Feng, he might have already been sentenced to death.

They had all been through life and death with Dong Wanliang; they knew his temper. They knew that right now, Dong Wanliang was truly angry.

All of them went in trembling with fear, and Dong Wanliang coldly swept his gaze over everyone and asked, "Who was it that sent those scumbags to the hospital just now?"

"Brother Liang... Brother Liang... it was me," a man following behind President Sun said, trembling with fear.

"Break his arm and throw him into that room," Dong Wanliang ordered his bodyguard standing behind him.

"Yes!"

The bodyguard executed Dong Wanliang’s order without hesitation, breaking the man’s arm and throwing him directly into a nearby room.

"But Brother Liang, he was just..."

"Shut your mouth, and process your own resignation tomorrow," Dong Wanliang said coldly.

President Sun heard Dong Wanliang’s words and was also scared stiff; it took him quite a while before he finally spoke, "Brother Liang, I’ve followed you faithfully and loyally, even if I have no merit, I’ve put in the hard work. Treating me this way will make the brothers lose heart."

Dong Wanliang suddenly stood up, the overwhelming presence of a boss making it difficult for everyone present to breathe.

"Do you still have the face to mention brothers? Look at the mess you’ve made of Shuiyun Restaurant, letting your family wreak havoc inside. Do you know how many people are eyeing us, waiting for our downfall? Do you know how many are relishing the thought of our trouble? Do you fucking realize that because of your damn nephew, our years of effort to go legit could all go down the drain, leaving all our brothers begging on the streets, forced to endure the bitter winds of the northwest!" Dong Wanliang was furiously unstoppable.

The people behind President Sun were no fools. Hearing what Dong Wanliang said, they all began to understand something and instinctively distanced themselves from President Sun.

President Sun’s face turned pale with Dong Wanliang’s rebuke, for he truly hadn’t considered these issues.

And of course, it wasn’t just him; if it weren’t for Chu Feng, Dong Wanliang wouldn’t have thought about them either.

"Thump!"

President Sun directly knelt on the ground, saying, "Brother Liang, I know I was wrong, please give me a chance. Even if you make me a security guard, I still want to stay by your side."

Having vented his anger, Dong Wanliang felt much less aggrieved.

Dong Wanliang, who came from a black society background, valued loyalty and righteousness. He still had a strong sense of brotherhood for those who had fought alongside him to reach their position.

"From tomorrow on, go roll to the security department and watch the gate. I don’t want to see you again," said Dong Wanliang.

"Thank you, Brother Liang!" President Sun was tearfully grateful.

Dong Wanliang looked at his brothers and said, "It’s taken us ten years to barely come ashore, to barely start to look a bit respectable. If you don’t want to go back to the days of constant fighting and killing, then you all better behave properly. Starting today, anyone who dares to do anything illegal or disorderly will be punished without mercy! All those with a past criminal record, go surrender to the police station tomorrow. I’ll take care of your families, and your positions will be saved for you, waiting for your release. My word is as good as my spit!"

Chu Feng had shown Dong Wanliang the way, and Dong Wanliang had acted even more decisively.

He didn’t want anyone to have anything on him, so he decided it was better to turn people in himself, leaving no handles for others to grab.

However, Dong Wanliang’s decision sure made the East River police busy. Suddenly, over a hundred people came to surrender, and the detention cells were completely overwhelmed.

"Young Master Chu, by helping a bad guy like this, aren’t you worried about others backstabbing you?" Mo Fang asked on the road.

Chu Feng smiled and said, "Don’t you think that having one less bad egg and one more good egg in this world is a deed of great merit?"

Mo Fang obviously lacked a sense of humor, as he didn’t smile at all.

"Young Master Chu, Dragon Soul is not a monolith. I know a bit about your affairs. By helping Dong Wanliang like this, it could really be used as a reason for others to attack you," Mo Fang said seriously.

Chu Feng replied, "The upright need not fear a crooked shadow. If I were afraid of their attacks, I wouldn’t have brought you back to East River. Don’t mind them; we’ll just do our own thing."

After a pause, Chu Feng added, "And I believe that Dong Wanliang is a smart man. He knows how to choose, and what choices are in his best interest. He will do more thoroughly than you think."

Mo Fang said, "I don’t know much about these things, maybe you’re right. Young Master Chu, is there anything you need my help with?"

Chu Feng pondered for a moment, then suddenly having an idea, he said, "Now that you mention it, there is something I need your help with. I’m not quite satisfied with the firewall of my company. Could you help me redesign it?"

Mo Fang replied, "That’s a small matter. Shall we go there now?"

Chu Feng glanced at Tan Ya and her family, and said, "If we go now, I’m afraid Sister-in-Law will tear me apart. You better go back and discuss the marriage. It will be fine to go to my company tomorrow."
