Chapter 520: Chapter 0522: I’m Not Acting in a Divine Drama

Ma Hong and Fatty Tang were taken aback by Chu Feng’s words, and then Fatty Tang said, "Bro, don’t joke with me. I might not be as good as you guys, but I know that if you threw a grenade from here to their mortar position, it would have already exploded before it got there. And that distance, you can’t throw that far. Do you think this is some sort of anti-Japanese war drama where grenades blow up planes?"

Chu Feng smiled slightly and said, "What I’m doing here is no drama, just watch."

Chu Feng nodded his head and spotted where they had set up the mortar. The position was indeed a bit of a distance from where Chu Feng was, at least two hundred meters away.

With that distance and the grenade’s timing, indeed it would have already exploded, and a normal person couldn’t throw a grenade that far.

Chu Feng weighed the grenade in his hand, then pulled the pin and threw it.

Once the grenade left Chu Feng’s palm, it flew out with a speed unimaginable to both Fatty Tang and Ma Hong.

"Snap!"

Under the stunned expressions of Fatty Tang and Ma Hong, the grenade landed squarely in the box of mortar shells.

"Boom!"

The grenade exploded, setting off the mortar shells, which caused an even larger explosion.

"Get down!"

Sensing the explosion, Ma Hong also shouted loudly.

With an explosion that shook the ground and seemed to almost collapse the mountain, the shaking lasted for a full thirty seconds. When things finally stabilized, Ma Hong and Fatty Tang stood up from the ground, both looking as disheveled as Monkey Sun.

"I say, bro, you’re really something else. One grenade took out a mortar!"

"Brother, you really are amazing, but do you realize how dangerous that was? A box full of shells, and lucky for us their ammo quality was crap. If the shells were of good quality. We wouldn’t have needed their help to be buried alive," Ma Hong said, spitting out the dirt in his mouth.

Chu Feng touched the back of his head sheepishly and said, "That’s how they do it on TV."

Ma Hong was speechless and said, "TV is all fake, the shells on TV are all props. If it was real, the entire crew would be dead, not enough left to fill the roles."

Chu Feng chuckled and said, "I’ll be careful next time."

Fatty Tang’s eyes lit up as he looked at Chu Feng and said, "Bro, you’re so good. Why don’t you just take one grenade and take care of that scumbag Kang Xuesong for me?"

Chu Feng said, "Brother Tang, can you estimate how far Kang Xuesong is from us?"

Fatty Tang said, "It’s also about five hundred meters."

Chu Feng said, "Brother Tang, you think I’m Superman or something, a five hundred meter distance, try throwing one for me to see."

Fatty Tang laughed sheepishly, knowing he had asked too much. To cover a five hundred meters distance, he himself would need to run for a while.

"They must be stunned by the blast, we can catch our breath now," Ma Hong said.

Kang Xuesong and his men were indeed stunned because they never expected Chu Feng to be able to throw a grenade two hundred meters from the top of the mountain and take out their mortar.

Such speed, such distance, such accuracy, it was simply beyond human capability.

Kanni crawled out from the pile of dirt, his eyes already bloodshot.

"Charge! Kill them, grenades! Throw grenades at them!" Kanni had truly gone mad.

Tang Xuesong’s ears were ringing from Kanni’s shout. It took a while before Tang Xuesong could react.

Tang Xuesong shook his head vigorously, finally feeling that the double vision in front of his eyes wasn’t just overlapping images.

Kang Xuesong watched the crater blasted by the explosion and shuddered with fear. In his heart, a very bad feeling suddenly emerged; he felt that this time, he might be doomed here. Even though he still had over seven hundred men, Kang Xuesong still had a very ominous premonition.

"These bastards are planning to bury us with grenades, aim and shoot them before they get too close. Hold on for a while; the Government Army will be here soon." Ma Hong spoke into the walkie-talkie.

All the men switched from spray firing to single shots, and Chu Feng displayed his precise marksmanship.

Chu Feng’s rifle aimed at their palms, and with each shot, he precisely hit their wrists.

As for whether they would be killed by the grenades in their own hands, Chu Feng could not manage that.

"This won’t do! They’re charging too fast!" Fatty Tang said, looking at the people who were getting closer and closer.

"Fatty, you know how to use the rocket launcher behind you, right? Blow up the rocks in front, don’t let them get up here." While saying this, Ma Hong bellowed.

"Alright! I’ve been wanting to see what this big guy can do."

Fatty Tang excitedly picked up the rocket launcher from behind, then took aim.

"Damn! Rebellion, are you trying to blow us all to hell?" When Ma Hong saw this, his nose nearly went crooked with anger.

Fatty Tang grinned and said, "How the hell do you use this thing?"

Ma Hong was about to blow his top over Fatty Tang’s antics, snatched the rocket launcher away, and fired it directly.

"Whoosh!"

"Boom!"

The rocket obliterated a huge rock completely, shattered stones flew in all directions, effectively blocking the path ahead.

"Fatty, go get another rocket for me," Ma Hong told Fatty Tang.

"Got it!"

Fatty Tang scurried off, came back with another rocket, and Ma Hong fired again, pulverizing another large rock to smithereens.

"Rocket grenades! They actually have rocket grenades!"

Kanni was truly at his wits’ end.

Originally, Kanni believed that his numerical superiority, plus a mortar, would be enough.

Many heavy weapons were left behind, but unexpectedly, a single grenade from Chu Feng took out their mortar. And now, Chu Feng’s group had rocket grenades.

"Charge! Charge for me!" Kanni roared, commanding his men to push forward.

"Dada dada!"

A series of gunshots rang out, followed by two helicopters appearing overhead.

The Government Army had finally arrived. Although the Government Army couldn’t compare to Huaxia’s regular army, when measured against these disorganized mobs, they were still much stronger.

"Quickly hide the stuff and the raw materials in the back; don’t let the Government Army find them. I’ve still got half a million here, enough to buy off those soldiers," Ma Hong told Fatty Tang and those who had returned to his side.

Soon, the cave was well concealed, and Chu Feng’s group hid inside, watching how the Government Army exterminated the Rebel Army outside.

The firepower of the Government Army was fierce, and after an hour, Kanni’s forces were completely eradicated. Kanni himself caught a stray bullet and died on the spot, but Kang Xuesong was indeed lucky, surviving even under such intense gunfire.

"Let’s get out quickly before that old bastard Kang Xuesong sells us out. If this bunch of bandits who are worse than bandits, the Government Army, find out about us, we’ll just be waiting to be bled dry," Ma Hong said as he jumped out from the cave.
