Chapter 43: Chapter 0043 Let Me Show You What Trouble I Can Cause

The server reluctantly took Chu Feng’s bank card with a scowl and said, "Having no money and still wasting my time."

After swiping the card with reluctance, the server stared at the computer screen, full of disbelief.

"What, did the balance on his card scare you? Or did he give you some discount card that’s not a bank card at all, and it fried your computer?" The flamboyant woman said with contempt.

"I’m...I’m so sorry." The server didn’t even pay attention to the flamboyant woman’s sarcasm and walked out from behind the counter, trembling as she spoke to Chu Feng.

"Your service is really considerate, apologizing proactively when there’s no money on the card. I’ll have my husband come here often in the future," the flamboyant woman continued her sarcasm.

"I’m...I’m so sorry, sir. I failed to recognize Mount Tai. I will wrap this dress up for your girlfriend right now," the server said, pale-faced.

Although she didn’t recognize Chu Feng’s bank card, she recognized the words on the computer screen.

It clearly indicated that the owner of this card was a Supreme VIP of this shopping mall, entitled to make any request, all of which had to be unconditionally fulfilled.

"Have you lost your mind? How could a penniless runt afford this dress? I really want to see what pathetic balance is on that lousy card," the flamboyant woman said angrily, storming over to the computer.

Arriving at the computer, the flamboyant woman was stunned. She may not have known what a Centurion Supreme black card meant, but she understood what an eight-figure number represented in money.

Even if she bedded a nouveau riche, sleeping for ten years wouldn’t net her that much money.

Then came a flurry of hurried footsteps, followed by a group of uniformed individuals rushing to the front of the store.

With a Supreme VIP customer present, regardless of their status, the manager couldn’t afford to neglect them.

The manager was a middle-aged man in his thirties, wearing gold-rimmed glasses.

Upon seeing An Rongrong, his expression shifted slightly, and he quickly spoke with respect, "Miss, you’ve come. Why didn’t you inform me?"

An Rongrong recognized this middle-aged man; he was an assistant to her older brother.

"Why are you here?" An Rongrong asked, perplexed.

The middle-aged manager explained, "Miss may not be aware, but the young master recently completed the acquisition of this place. It is now one of the An Family’s properties."

An Rongrong then had a sudden realization and said, "No wonder I saw the An Family’s emblem at the entrance when I came in."

The female server behind them was utterly terrified by this revelation, almost collapsing.

The attitudes of the nouveau riche and the flamboyant woman had soured considerably.

They had never imagined that these two students could have such powerful backing—that the mall was owned by their family.

"Miss, whatever you need, just tell me, and I’ll have it delivered to your house," the middle-aged manager offered.

"Hurry up and return the miss’s bank card, what are you doing still holding onto it?" the middle-aged manager scolded, looking at the card in the server’s hand.

Stutteringly, the server said, "Manager, this card isn’t the miss’s, it belongs to this gentleman."

It was only then that the middle-aged manager took notice of Chu Feng. He had initially assumed Chu Feng was An Rongrong’s lackey, not realizing that it was Chu Feng who owned the Supreme Centurion black card.

Looking at the young Chu Feng, the middle-aged manager found it hard to associate him with the world’s most influential figures.

"Who might this gentleman be?" the middle-aged manager asked politely.

An Rongrong said, "He’s a friend of mine, accompanying me to shop today."

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged manager suddenly understood. Anyone who could shop with the miss was definitely no ordinary person; it hence made perfect sense for him to own such a card.

"Go wrap up the dress the miss wants, now!" the middle-aged manager ordered once more.

"Slow down!"

Chu Feng spoke, then said, "I’d like to ask, what kind of privileges does my card possess?"

The middle-aged manager replied, "Sir, your card not only entitles you to enjoy our super discounts, but you can also make any request of us, and we will do our utmost to satisfy it."

Chu Feng nodded and said, "Good! She just told me that there are only three pieces of this clothing in the entire East River. I want her to go and bring back the other two pieces. I don’t want anyone to wear the same outfit as Rongrong. Moreover, if she was thinking about going by car, then she needn’t bother, let her walk there and bring back the other two pieces."

The attendant, who initially sighed with relief upon hearing Chu Feng’s punishment for her, turned pale at his subsequent words.

The clothing indeed came in three pieces, but they were located in places far apart. If she really had to walk there, she’d probably die of exhaustion.

"Moreover, Rongrong and I have limited time. If I don’t see the other two pieces before sunset today, then she won’t need this piece either," Chu Feng said calmly.

It was already twelve o’clock now, and sunset meant she had less than five hours. With such a distance, she’d have to run back and forth, which was nothing short of working herself to death.

The middle-aged manager, being a shrewd person himself, instantly understood the situation and immediately shouted, "Didn’t you hear what this gentleman said? Go and bring back the other two pieces of clothing immediately. If we don’t see them by four o’clock, you’re fired. You can forget about your remaining salary, too, and on top of that, the company will charge you a breach-of-contract fee totaling one million."

The attendant turned pale upon hearing the manager’s words.

One million!

Although the commission from this luxury store was high, she hadn’t earned a million yet. This was driving her to her grave.

"You two follow her. If she cheats, it’s also considered a breach of contract," the middle-aged manager told the two supervisors behind him.

"Yes!"

The two responded and began to supervise the attendant.

"Sir, I truly didn’t recognize Mount Tai, please spare me this once." Four hours wouldn’t be enough, not even if she ran until her legs broke, to bring back the pieces from the other two stores.

Chu Feng remained unmoved and said, "You don’t want to waste time, and I don’t want to waste time either."

"Sir, I really realize my mistake, please spare me this once," the female attendant pleaded, her legs giving way as she knelt down on the floor.

An Rongrong, unable to bear it, grabbed Chu Feng’s hand and said, "Chu Feng, just forgive her this once, I believe she won’t do it again."

Chu Feng looked at An Rongrong, smiled slightly, and said, "Alright! I’ll listen to you."

"Thank you! Thank you!" The attendant quickly cried her thanks, her makeup completely smeared.

"Alright, go settle your accounts with finance and then get out, we don’t need someone like you in our store." Although Chu Feng granted An Rongrong’s wish and spared her, the middle-aged manager had to make a stand, as this would satisfy Chu Feng as well.

"And another thing, throw these two rabid dogs out; they’re really bringing down the image of this place," Chu Feng said, looking at the nouveau riche man and the garishly dressed woman.

"Alright! Security, throw these two out," the middle-aged manager executed the order without hesitation.

"My friend, we offended you earlier. But we all mingle in East River. My Big Development Entertainment is part of the Zhuang Family’s holdings. If you go too far, I’m afraid it won’t end well for anyone," the nouveau riche said, knowing that being thrown out like this, he wouldn’t be able to mix in the same circles again, and he’d lose all his face.

The middle-aged manager frowned upon hearing the words of the nouveau riche.

Although he believed that the so-called Zhuang Family holdings by the nouveau riche were merely in name, there was still the saying that before you hit a dog, you should look at its owner. If he really acted, and the Zhuang Family pursued it, it would be very difficult to handle.

Chu Feng’s tone didn’t change as he said, "Throw them out!"

"You’re going too far, friend. The Zhuang Family isn’t someone you can afford to provoke!" the nouveau riche threatened.

Chu Feng smiled faintly and said, "So you say the Zhuang Family isn’t someone I can provoke? Fine! I’ll provoke them right now, just for you to see!"
