Chapter 400: Chapter 0401 What grudge do I have against you?

In Chu Feng’s view, changing luck wasn’t something incomprehensible.

If Cultivation already existed, then what was so impossible about changing a person’s fortune?

"Thailand has Curses and rumors of Little Ghosts. Could it be something like that causing trouble?" Chu Feng pondered, trying to identify exactly what was causing the mischief.

"Shall I look around first?" After thinking hard to no avail, Chu Feng decided to first check his surroundings for any issues.

The chill he had felt earlier was definitely not groundless; there surely was a problem here.

Chu Feng summoned his Divine Sense to search around him.

Suddenly, Chu Feng’s Divine Sense encountered a strange thing, a child with an extremely dark complexion. However, it only appeared in Chu Feng’s Divine Sense and was invisible to everyone else.

"What is this? A Little Ghost?" Chu Feng, looking at the dark-skinned child, figured it must be some sort of Spiritual Body.

However, Chu Feng found that he was completely powerless against it, as he had never encountered such a thing before.

"Try operating the Cultivation Technique, such malevolent beings should be afraid of the utmost firm and positive forces." Chu Feng had no definite answers in his mind and could only make guesses based on the movies and TV shows he had seen.

Chu Feng operated the Cultivation Technique, and instantly, he shone like the Sun, illuminating his surroundings.

Feeling the light emanating from Chu Feng, the Little Ghost immediately became listless and swiftly moved away to avoid him.

"It seems that not everything on TV is deceitful," Chu Feng muttered to himself.

"Mr. Chu, it’s your turn to ask for cards," the Croupier spoke to Chu Feng again.

Chu Feng, as if hearing it for the first time, looked at the Croupier and Chacai and said, "Oh, I don’t want any."

After saying this, Chu Feng directly passed on his turn.

"No!"

After pondering for so long, Chu Feng had come to just such a conclusion and decided to pass.

A pair of black eggs, a pair of As, and he just folded. It made no sense to anyone, even more puzzling was what exactly Chu Feng was pondering before.

"You don’t want?" Chacai seemed not to have understood Chu Feng’s meaning and confirmed again.

Chu Feng nodded and looked at the Croupier, saying, "Isn’t it allowed to pass?"

The Croupier said, "Of course, whether to take a card or not is your choice."

Chu Feng pushed his cards away and said, "Then, I will pass!"

Chacai originally thought Chu Feng was going to go all-in, but Chu Feng did not take a card, which definitely surprised Chacai.

However, Chacai was not in a hurry, as there were still many hands to play and he had plenty of opportunities.

"Wait!" Just as the Croupier was about to deal the next hand, Chu Feng suddenly stopped him.

"Mr. Chu, do you have a problem?" the Croupier asked respectfully.

Chu Feng said, "I feel this deck doesn’t suit my fate. I would like to change the deck."

"Change the deck?"

The Croupier, hearing Chu Feng’s request, paused again.

Looking at the Croupier, Chu Feng asked, "Is that not allowed?"

The Croupier said, "It is allowed. The competition does not prohibit such actions. Mr. Chu, you can ask for a new deck."

Chu Feng said, "Then, let’s change it."

Chacai furrowed his brows as he looked at Chu Feng, not knowing what Chu Feng was really aiming for.

However, under the table, Chacai had crushed a small bottle, releasing a colorless and odorless smoke that dispersed into the air.

"Huff!"

Just as the Little Ghost was about to make its move, Chu Feng suddenly intensely activated his Cultivation Technique, enveloping the entire poker table in a burst of light. The Little Ghost, as if seeing a ghost more terrifying than itself, quickly hid far away.

"Do it again, and I’ll take your life." Chu Feng didn’t care if the Little Ghost could understand him; he directly used the Sound Transmission method taught by Zhang Shisan to communicate with the Little Ghost.

The Little Ghost clearly understood because upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, it immediately hid away.

This time, after reshuffling the cards, Chu Feng was quite satisfied with the game, as he still managed a small victory on the first hand.

"Didn’t I say my luck isn’t bad?" Chu Feng quietly mused to himself.

However, there seemed to be no direct connection between Chacai and the Little Ghost because Chacai’s face still wore that same smile from before.

But for Chu Feng, this was a good thing. Since Chacai didn’t know, it saved Chu Feng a lot of trouble.

After the shuffle, the Croupier began dealing the cards.

Chu Feng’s hand was quite messy, the only thing going for him being an ace up his sleeve. Chacai’s hand was decent, but his hidden card was slightly worse.

"Little Friend Chu, it’s your turn to draw cards," Chacai said with a smile, looking at Chu Feng.

Chu Feng said, "Then let’s go all-in."

Chu Feng pushed his betting chip forward as he spoke.

Chacai hadn’t expected Chu Feng to pull the all-in move again, which made Chacai feel that something was off. But Chacai was very confident in his setup, so he quickly pushed all his betting chips forward without hesitation.

"Wait!" Just as the Croupier was about to reveal both players’ cards, Chu Feng once again intervened to stop the Croupier.

"Little Friend Chu, if you don’t follow now, you’re definitely losing," Chacai said tauntingly with a smile.

Chu Feng rolled his eyes and said, "Did I say I won’t follow? I just feel it’s not thrilling enough, so I’m raising the stakes."

"Raise the stakes? Little Friend Chu, you have no more chips left," Chacai said.

Chu Feng said, "No chips left? Can’t I still raise my own stakes? The competition doesn’t have rules against raising one’s own stakes, right?"

The Croupier shook his head and said, "There’s no such rule."

Chu Feng pulled out a cheque and said, "I raise ten billion USA Dollars."

"Wow!" As soon as Chu Feng put down the cheque, it was as though he had dropped a cup of water into a hot oil pan, and the entire room boiled with excitement.

Gambling fortunes was the most thrilling event and what everyone looked forward to. No one expected to see it so soon.

Usually, such scenes were only seen when two individuals held deep grudges against each other; otherwise, it was rare.

"Little Friend Chu, do I have any feud with you?" Chacai asked.

Chu Feng shook his head and said, "You have no feud with me. You can choose not to follow, and I’ll just advance to the next level."

Chacai watched Chu Feng, angrily clenching his teeth in his mind. Chu Feng was really too despicable.

Chu Feng suddenly gambling high stakes took Chacai aback, and he started feeling uncertain. He didn’t even know if his tactics were still effective.

Chacai hesitated for a moment, then took out another bottle and stealthily opened it.

Again, a trail of invisible, odorless smoke drifted out from the bottle.
