Chapter 295: Chapter 0296: Go Back and Ask Your Uncle

Chu Feng moved like a specter, and Sun Hao was unable to clearly see his movements. By the time he did, Chu Feng had already arrived in front of him, kicking him over.

Chu Feng caught the handgun from Sun Hao’s hand, then immediately aimed it at Sun Hao!

"You wouldn’t dare!"

"President, please don’t!"

From his pocket, Chu Feng produced his own identification, gesturing with it toward the two men behind him.

"You all come from the same compound; you should understand what this represents. No need for me to explain, right?" Chu Feng said.

The two men, upon seeing the identification in Chu Feng’s hand, turned somewhat pale.

"Dragon... Dragon Soul!" the shorter man managed to utter with difficulty after swallowing hard.

Sun Hao, who was already scared witless, went completely pale at the mention of "Dragon Soul".

What Dragon Soul signified was all too clear to children from the compound.

Their elders had instructed them that it was better to offend a high-level military officer, more important than their own fathers, than to cross Dragon Soul.

Because while the former might let you off with your life, the latter would not.

Black Widow had clearly not anticipated that Chu Feng would also possess the identity of a Dragon Soul member. It all seemed too surreal; how had Chu Feng suddenly become a person of Dragon Soul?

"Now, anything else you wish to say? Speak now or get ready to collect his body," Chu Feng announced.

Upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, Sun Hao was so frightened that he shook uncontrollably, feeling not a trace of warmth on his skin.

Chu Feng was truly intent on killing him. Despite Sun Hao being from the compound, if Chu Feng really did kill him, it likely wouldn’t result in much trouble or backlash.

After all, Sun Hao had drawn his gun first. Even if Chu Feng killed him, it would be justified.

The short man tried to speak, swallowing several times, completely at a loss for words.

Because, from start to finish, it had all been Sun Hao’s fault.

Having no other choice, he turned to Black Widow, hoping she would speak on their behalf.

Black Widow was a bit pale at this point but, after a couple of thoughts had circulated in her mind, she decided to plead for mercy.

After all, if Sun Hao were to die, both she and her family would become implicated. Although she did not kill Sun Hao, his death would unquestionably be related to her.

All of them came from the same compound; a little ruckus was acceptable, but a death would be a serious escalation. If it caused the elders to quarrel intensely, things would truly become uncontrollable.

After organizing her thoughts, Black Widow spoke up, "President, this matter mainly stemmed from their being influenced by others. But this is a school, after all, and having someone die wouldn’t be good."

After finishing her plea, Black Widow nervously looked at Chu Feng, fearing that he wouldn’t agree, leaving her clueless about what to do.

Chu Feng contemplated for a moment and then put away the gun, saying, "You’re right, this is a school and such violence shouldn’t take place here."

Black Widow breathed a sigh of relief at Chu Feng’s words.

But before Black Widow could relax completely, she heard Sun Hao’s scream.

"President..."

Chu Feng interjected, "Execution can be avoided, but punishment cannot. The thing I hate the most is being threatened and my people being hurt. Taking one of his arms is already showing you respect."

Black Widow, realizing the wisdom in staying silent at this point, obediently did so. Chu Feng only wanted one of Sun Hao’s arms. Given Sun Hao’s actions just before, this was not excessive at all.

Chu Feng broke one of Sun Hao’s arms and, looking at Sun Hao’s resentful gaze, said, "Don’t look at me like that. If you had the capability, you wouldn’t need to give me such a look. And don’t comfort yourself with sayings like ’A gentleman’s revenge is not too late even after ten years.’ Those are words of self-consolation for the weak. If you dare to retaliate against me or anyone close to me, I’ll make you understand what it means to truly wish you were dead."

After finishing speaking, Chu Feng turned to address the slightly shorter young man, "Who is Wang Teng to you?"

The slightly shorter young man, shivering at Chu Feng’s question, replied, "Wang Teng is my uncle."

Chu Feng said, "Since Wang Teng is your uncle, I won’t punish you. In the future, stay away from their crowd and stop causing trouble for your uncle."

The young man gathered his courage and asked, "Do you know my uncle?"

Chu Feng replied, "My name is Chu Feng. As for who I am, you can ask your uncle when you get back. He came with you, you take responsibility for bringing him home."

After saying this, Chu Feng turned and walked away. He had not gone far when he turned back and added, "I don’t want a fifth person to know about today’s events. You know what the consequences will be otherwise."

The young man hurriedly nodded in agreement. Sun Hao, although he did not respond, was aware of the seriousness of the situation.

Black Widow hesitated for a moment before following. As for Sun Hao, Black Widow had no intention of bothering about him.

Chu Feng walked ahead, while Black Widow followed behind, lost in her thoughts.

"Ouch!"

Suddenly, a cry of pain came from behind Chu Feng, who immediately turned around, only to see the distressed Black Widow stumbling toward him.

Clearly, the preoccupied Black Widow had missed her step.

Watching Black Widow tumble towards him, Chu Feng reached out and caught her.

After steadying Black Widow, he said, "Move your foot around, see if there’s any injury."

Black Widow moved her foot and found no injuries. After all, she had received training and instinctively protected herself.

"Be more careful when you walk, and don’t get distracted," Chu Feng advised.

Black Widow gave Chu Feng a shy and reproachful look and said, "It’s all because your identity is too frightening, President."

Chu Feng asked, "If you had known about my identity, would you have let me come here?"

Black Widow replied, "Of course, I wouldn’t dare. If I had known about your prestigious status, Mr. President, I would have just borrowed your identification in the first place."

After a pause, Black Widow added meekly, "Mr. President, I admit that I waited for you on purpose, but I truly had no idea that Sun Hao would go so crazy."

Black Widow felt it was crucial to explain herself properly to avoid any misunderstanding with Chu Feng.

Chu Feng looked at Black Widow and asked, "Do you really not know?"
