Chapter 175: Chapter 0175 Genetic Warrior
This cry for help completely shattered the silence; however, on the beach at this moment, it was only Chu Feng and his group who were watching the sunrise, so they were the only ones who heard the call for help.
Everyone looked towards the source of the sound and saw a blood-stained, completely naked woman in her forties running out of a tent.
Despite her age, the woman’s body was still in great shape with no unnecessary fat, and the areas that should be firm were indeed firm.
Seeing that there were people by Chu Feng and his group, the woman hurried over to them.
"Help! Help me! There’s a monster over there!" The woman, covered in blood, threw herself into Chu Feng’s arms.
Chu Feng’s eyebrows furrowed as he watched the tent shake violently, and his Divine Sense stirred slightly.
"What is that thing!"
Chu Feng’s eyes hardened at the sight inside the tent.
"Yafang, you guys stay here and take care of her; I’ll go check it out."
After speaking, Chu Feng rushed over in large strides.
The thing inside the tent was indeed strange, and Chu Feng couldn’t let it get out. Otherwise, if it hurt his classmates, it would be troublesome.
As Chu Feng reached the entrance of the tent, a pitch-black claw suddenly reached out.
Chu Feng kicked at the claw fiercely, sending the half-exposed body that was thrusting out crashing back inside.
After kicking the person back, Chu Feng got a clear view of the situation inside the tent.
A foreign man in his fifties lay naked on a moisture-proof pad, with a terrifying wound on his chest.
Upon seeing the foreign man, Chu Feng believed a saying: "When a person dies, birds point to heaven."
Although he wasn’t certain whether the foreign man was dead, his ’bird’ was indeed pointing to the sky.
Besides the foreign man, the only other thing inside was a monster with a human body and bear paws.
"X-Men!"
Seeing the creature struggling to rise from the ground, Chu Feng’s first thought was of the movie he had seen.
"Roar!"
The creature stood up, issuing a roar like a wild beast, and then lunged at Chu Feng.
The monster’s strength was substantial, surpassing that of a typical warrior at the Yellow Level Mid-Stage.
However, this amount of power was still negligible to Chu Feng.
Chu Feng threw a punch directly at the creature’s chest.
A muffled sound!
Chu Feng felt as if he had hit a steel plate.
The creature was only pushed back a step by Chu Feng’s blow, then charged at him again.
"Hit... the head!"
The foreign man on the ground opened his eyes and uttered two words with great effort.
Hearing the foreign man’s words, Chu Feng’s next punch was directly aimed at the creature’s head.
Clearly, the monster was aware of its own weakness and tried to block with its paws.
But its speed was no match for Chu Feng’s, not to mention that Chu Feng could project his True Qi outside his body.
Chu Feng landed a punch on the creature’s head, then sent his True Qi surging directly into its brain.
Though Chu Feng’s True Qi had only recently started to project outside, it was enough to destroy the brain.
"Bang!"
The monster lay dead on the ground, its brain matter, a mix of yellow and white, oozing from its seven orifices.
Chu Feng, looking at the creature on the ground that was dead beyond any doubt, also let out a sigh of relief.
The strength of this monster was comparable to that of a Yellow Level Mid-Stage. Moreover, its speed surpassed that of an ordinary person. Had it escaped, it would have likely caused tremendous trouble and widespread panic.
Having dealt with the monster, Chu Feng squatted beside the foreigner and said, "Considering you warned me, I’ll save your life."
After speaking, Chu Feng acted, pressing on two acupoints of the foreigner’s body. He then stood up, ready to leave and call the police to handle the situation.
However, before Chu Feng could even leave the tent, his phone suddenly rang.
Pulling out his phone, he saw it was Huang Lan calling. Chu Feng answered the call.
This time, Huang Lan surprisingly didn’t tease Chu Feng but spoke seriously, "Chu Feng, you must get to Golden Beach immediately. Professor Edward may be in danger; a Half-Beast intends to harm him."
Hearing Huang Lan’s words and glancing once more at the half-man, half-bear on the ground, Chu Feng responded, "I think I’ve already encountered the Professor Edward you’re talking about. As for the Half-Beast, it has been killed by me. Edward’s injured; have someone come and get him."
"What! You killed the Half-Beast!" Huang Lan was taken aback by Chu Feng’s words.
Chu Feng nodded, "Yes. It’s lying right there on the ground. You’d better send someone quickly. If tourists see it, it might cause unnecessary trouble."
Huang Lan paused for a moment, then said, "Stay where you are, I’ll send people to work with you right now."
After hanging up the phone, Chu Feng exited the tent, making sure to zip it closed.
"Chu Feng, are you all right?" Seeing Chu Feng emerge, Tie Mu quickly asked.
Chu Feng shook his head, "I’m fine. Let’s get back, we can’t let our classmates get close to this tent. Someone will deal with this matter shortly."
Seeing how serious Chu Feng was, Tie Mu nodded in agreement, "Okay!"
The two returned to where they were before. By then, someone had found a towel and draped it over the ****.
"Is Edward okay?" The ****’s eyes flashed with a hint of panic and distress upon seeing Chu Feng.
Chu Feng said, "He’s fine. I’ve called the police. They will take care of it shortly. Anything you need to say, you can tell the police when they arrive."
Clearly, Chu Feng was telling her not to say too much.
The middle-aged beauty nodded, then fell silent.
Soon, a large number of police and armed police arrived, quickly and completely sealing off the area.
"Tie Mu, you take the classmates back to the villa first. She and I may have to stay here to give a statement," Chu Feng instructed.
Tie Mu nodded, then led everyone back to the villa.
Only after Tie Mu and the others had left did **** finally ask, "That... young man, what about the monster?"
Chu Feng casually replied, "I’ve come out, so it’s certainly dead inside. Edward’s really okay, you don’t need to worry. Someone will take you to a safe place soon."
**** nodded, then looked at Chu Feng with a mix of fright and amazement.
Chu Feng wasn’t concerned about her gaze. He had only happened to save someone; their paths would likely never cross again.
"Commander!"
Wang Teng, arriving swiftly with his team, quickly surrounded the area, with people in hazmat suits and carrying equipment doing various checks.
Chu Feng looked at Wang Teng and smirked, "Brother Wang, isn’t this a bit of an overkill?"
Wang Teng, lowering his voice, pointed upwards and said, "Brother Chu, we can’t be careless. Those are orders from above. Where’s Professor Edward?"
Chu Feng pointed at the tent and replied, "Everyone’s inside. Edward’s bleeding has stopped, and he now needs hospital treatment. As for the monster, I’ll leave it to you to deal with."
Wang Teng nodded, "We’ve been informed of how to deal with it."
Chu Feng nodded, "Alright then. You handle things here; I’m entrusting this person to your protection too. I need to get back to my classmates who are waiting for me. They need to be reassured as well."
