Chapter 170: Chapter 0170: I Want an Exact Copy
After leaving the Tang Family, Chu Feng went straight back to the beach.
With this trip back and forth, Chu Feng had wasted half a day, and by the time he returned to the villa, the sun was already sloping to the west.
However, everyone was still very happy when Chu Feng came back, especially Xue Yafang.
"Brother Feng, you finally deigned to come back. We thought that Sister Cute with the big eyes had kept you," Mo Yanfang said bluntly.
Chu Feng coughed awkwardly twice and said, "I just escorted her home, that’s all. Carry on, everyone."
Xue Yafang handed him something charred and said, "Here! The chicken wing I grilled for you."
Looking at the black lump, Chu Feng said, "Are you sure this is edible?"
Xue Yafang replied, "It’s been on the grill as long as you’ve been gone. It’s your fault for taking such a long time."
Seeing the difficulty Chu Feng had swallowing, Xue Yafang suddenly laughed and said, "Here! This is a freshly grilled one."
Hungry from not having eaten much all day, Chu Feng really felt starved. He took the chicken wing and started eating voraciously.
Watching Chu Feng eat so heartily, Xue Yafang smiled contentedly.
With a group of young people together, of course, there was no shortage of liveliness.
In the evening, everyone brought out chairs, huddled around a campfire, and shared all kinds of ghost stories.
Of course, it was mainly the boys doing the storytelling, the reason being that it made it more convenient to take advantage of the situation.
Watching the girls lean into their arms, the boys all had smiles on their faces.
But Chu Feng was having a harder time smiling, as he was hugged by four girls.
As Qi Houbo put it, "You’re the class leader, so naturally you should work more and gain more."
Work more and gain more could even apply here, Chu Feng was completely convinced.
However, surrounded by four youthful girls, Chu Feng didn’t find the ghost stories scary at all. Instead, it was the four deep, snow-white ravines that made him dare not look directly at them.
The excitement lasted till late into the night, after which everyone went to sleep.
The next morning, everyone got up before dawn because they were going to watch the sunrise.
Everyone set up their tents on the beach, then sat side by side, waiting for the sun to rise.
But just as Chu Feng and his friends had finished setting up their tents, a group of officials with armbands came over and started to drive them away.
"Why can’t we pitch tents here when there are other people pitching theirs over there? Why can’t we?" Qi Houbo argued with the officials.
One of the portly men said, "I say you can’t, so you can’t. Hurry up and leave, don’t make us take down your tent."
"You try taking one down!" Tie Mu stepped forward, his low growl halting the other side.
Tie Mu was tall and robust, and when he roared like that, nobody on the opposite side really dared to make a move.
"Don’t be afraid of him, he’s just one person. Go ahead and dismantle it," said a smug voice from behind the group of officials at that moment.
Looking up, Chu Feng and his friends saw Fan Jun, who walked over with a triumphant look on his face.
Seeing Fan Jun, everything became clear.
"What do you mean by this, Fan Jun?" Tie Mu shouted angrily as he saw Fan Jun approaching.
Fan Jun smiled and said, "I don’t mean anything. This beach is the property of my Fan Group, and if there are people I dislike, I naturally have to make sure they are cleared away."
After Fan Jun finished speaking, he looked at Xue Yafang smugly. It was clear he meant, "So your class president is good at playing ball, what of it? Now you still have to obediently leave because I said so."
Chu Feng looked at Fan Jun, his expression turning somewhat frosty, and said, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Fan Jun looked at Chu Feng with pride and said, "I’m sure! Having you here makes me feel disgusted just looking at this beach. Go on, tear down their tents."
Fan Jun was the scion of the Fan Group, so upon hearing this order, the security guards behind him dared not hesitate to act.
"Tie Mu, don’t move. Let them tear it down, we’ll leave. However they tear it down, I’ll make them set it up for me later," Chu Feng said, stopping Tie Mu.
When Fan Jun heard Chu Feng’s words, he said arrogantly, "Who do you think you are, talking big is something anyone can do."
Chu Feng looked at Fan Jun and said, "You know I never talk big."
After that, Chu Feng told his classmates, "Everyone go back and rest. The sunrise can be seen at any time. If it’s not okay today, we’ll watch it tomorrow."
Fan Jun arrogantly said, "As long as I’m here, you can forget about watching the sunrise here."
Chu Feng led the students back, but everyone’s mood was very low.
All of them were young people, and having their faces slapped like this naturally made them feel upset.
Chu Feng didn’t console them much. Such incidents happen every moment in society. No one can sail through life without trouble, and it was good for them to face setbacks earlier rather than later.
Everyone gloomily returned to their rooms, not even eating breakfast.
"That Fan Jun really deserves a beating. Chu Feng, why did you stop me just now!" Tie Mu said indignantly.
Chu Feng responded, "What would beating him accomplish? Only when he truly knows fear will he dare not bite at people carelessly in the future."
After a pause, Chu Feng asked, "Old Han, how is the information I asked you to look up coming along?"
Han Chunsheng pulled out his pad, pointed to the data on it, and said, "This is what I could find online. The beach indeed belongs to the Fan Group, but it seems that the Fan Group is actually a subsidiary of the Tang Family. The Tang Family has a controlling stake in the Fan Group. However, the specifics are still unclear."
Chu Feng nodded and said, "I see. I will handle this matter. You go and tell everyone to have breakfast."
Now that it’s connected to the Tang Family, this matter just became a lot easier to deal with.
After Han Chunsheng and the others left, Chu Feng directly called Tang Xiaoxiao.
Tang Xiaoxiao was thrilled to see the call was from Chu Feng.
"Chu Feng, you missed me," Tang Xiaoxiao said almost without thinking.
Chu Feng was momentarily taken aback upon hearing Tang Xiaoxiao’s words, then said, "I need to talk to your grandfather about something."
Tang Xiaoxiao, hearing that Chu Feng wanted to speak with her grandfather, pouted and said, "Okay! Just wait a moment."
Shortly, Old Master Tang picked up the phone. Chu Feng did not beat around the bush and got straight to the point.
Old Master Tang was furious after hearing the story, though much of his anger was feigned.
Chu Feng’s strength was beyond doubt. The Tang Family was trying to court Chu Feng and certainly wouldn’t want to offend him now.
Moreover, for someone like Chu Feng, if he really wanted to take down the Tang Family, they probably wouldn’t have the power to retaliate. After all, Chu Feng’s power and capabilities were well known.
"Little Friend Chu, I’ll handle this matter immediately," Old Master Tang promised solemnly.
Chu Feng nodded and added, "Also, he tore down my tent. Don’t forget to have him set it up for me, exactly the same as before."
