Chapter 155: Chapter 0155 Elite Society

Chu Feng’s temperament instantly turned icy upon hearing Huang Lan’s words, saying, "I can restrain myself when it comes to the Jin Family, but I’m afraid I can’t do the same with the Eastern people. Haven’t you heard the saying, ’Those not of our kind must have a different heart’? And since they are related to my brother’s affair, it’s even less likely that I can hold back."

Taking a deep breath on the other end of the line, Huang Lan responded, "Alright. Do as you wish, but I hope you can share any information you receive with me as soon as possible. Only with more clues can we solve your brother’s case at the earliest."

"I will do that," Chu Feng assured.

After hanging up the phone, Chu Feng returned to his room.

Seeing He Zhen with a displeased look on his face, Chu Feng said, "Brother He, trust me on this matter; I will take care of it."

He Zhen, upon hearing Chu Feng’s reassuring words, let out a deep sigh and said, "These beasts have dared to rise again. I really want to grab a gun and kill a few of them back and forth again."

"Brother He, what exactly is the Elite Society?" Chu Feng asked.

Since it related to his own brother, it was crucial for Chu Feng to ask and understand beforehand.

He Jianguo himself did not know what the Elite Society was all about, as Elder He seldom mentioned his past at home and even sealed away all his military medals.

Elder He, upon being asked by Chu Feng, sighed and began, "I really don’t want to talk about these matters. Back then, too many people died..."

Elder He then continued with a heavy voice, explaining to Chu Feng and He Jianguo about the Elite Society.

The gravity of Elder He’s tone seemed to transport Chu Feng and He Jianguo back to that era.

Elder He spoke of the developments at the end of the war, a time when the overall situation had been decided, with the Easterners just months away from surrendering.

However, at that time inside the Eastern nation, a group of people who were bent on waging war gathered together, inviting various experts and individuals of strange abilities. They prepared to use assassination to target and overthrow the upper echelons of Huaxia.

Many died then, officers who today could have become Generals. Elder He himself had once been targeted for assassination, but his bodyguard took the hit and blocked the lethal attack with his own body.

Elder He survived, but his bodyguard did not.

Such incidents were taking place almost every day, prolonging the war by several months.

This seemed to give the Easterners new hope, and they launched an even more frantic and inhumane offensive that set the lands of Huaxia ablaze with war.

Countless more died until some reclusive Ancient Martial Experts of Huaxia emerged.

They truly turned the tides, using their profound Ancient Martial skills to sweep through the battlefields, decimating the so-called Elite Society. Later, some experts even went directly to the Eastern mainland, thoroughly eradicating this Elite Society.

These Ancient Martial Experts could be considered the predecessors of Dragon Soul, or more precisely, it was they who facilitated the establishment of Dragon Soul.

Elder He was reluctant to bring up these events because so many had died needlessly due to that very matter, so he was very unwilling to talk about it.

After finishing his story, Elder He let out a deep sigh, saying, "Back then, we should have completely eradicated their will to fight, and then there would not have been a resurgence today."

Upon hearing Elder He’s words, Chu Feng nodded vehemently, "Brother He, I will extinguish their will. I shall ensure they won’t even dare to entertain the thought again."

Jianguo, hearing that his father had once almost been killed by those people, was filled with anger, saying, "Dad, rest assured. This is our Huaxia’s territory; it’s not their place to cause havoc. I promise, we’ll eradicate them root and branch."

As the three were conversing, Chu Feng’s mobile phone rang again.

He Jianguo used a computer to export the data from Chu Feng’s phone.

As he looked at the information on the officials under his jurisdiction, He Jianguo’s face grew increasingly ugly.

He Zhen glanced at the data, slammed his hand on the desk, and bellowed, "Bastards! A bunch of bastards! The world our fathers fought for was not meant for them to corrode. These people should all be shot!"

He Zhen was truly angry, and even Chu Feng’s expression turned sour after seeing the data.

All in all, more than thirty pages were filled with officials who had problems.

"Dad, I will definitely handle this matter. But let’s focus on Elite Society first. Once we’ve dealt with that group, we can then close the doors and clean up the rest," He Jianguo said with a deep breath, suppressing the rage in his heart.

Chu Feng said, "Jianguo, if there’s anything you need my help with, just tell me. And if you do find traces of Elite Society, you must inform me immediately. They’re all skilled; there’s no need to cause excessive casualties."

He Jianguo nodded vigorously and said, "Thank you, Uncle."

Eager to arrange everything, He Jianguo didn’t stay for dinner at home. Meanwhile, Chu Feng had a couple of drinks with He Zhen to cool him off.

In the afternoon, Chu Feng returned to the classroom, ready to continue with the rest of the day’s lessons.

However, just as Chu Feng had settled into his seat, the classroom door was kicked open.

An individual dressed in Eastern Karate attire, led by the former president of the Karate Association, made his way to Chu Feng’s classroom.

"Mr. Ono, that person is Chu Feng," the Karate Association president said, nodding and bowing behind the person from Eastern.

Mr. Ono, looking at Chu Feng with arrogance, said, "So you’re Chu Feng, the one who insulted our Karate."

Chu Feng looked up at the person from Eastern and said indifferently, "If you’re here to get beaten up, I don’t have time right now. I still have classes to attend. Get lost and wait outside, I’ll come to beat you up after class."

"Mr. Ono is here to challenge you today. He will prove to you that Karate is the strongest martial arts in the world," the president of the Karate Association said, looking at Chu Feng with a mix of mockery and pride.

Chu Feng looked at him and said, "I didn’t expect you’d start jumping around again so soon. But you should never have become a dog for the Eastern. If you were a dog for Huaxia, I might at least treat you like a dog. But now, I think you’re not even worthy of being a dog."

"Baka!"

Ono Akiha roared and then charged towards Chu Feng.

"Get out!"

Chu Feng got up from his seat, took two quick steps, and intercepted Ono Akiha, kicking him and sending him flying out of the room.

"This is a sacred classroom, not a place for an Eastern dog like you to defile. If you’re looking for a beating, get lost outside," Chu Feng said, standing his ground and speaking with domineering authority.

After Chu Feng finished speaking, the whole class fell silent, stunned by Chu Feng’s commanding presence.

"Don’t make me lift a finger, because you’re not worth it. Roll out by yourself," Chu Feng said disdainfully to the president of the Karate Association, his eyes not even deigning to show contempt.

Because for such people, even giving a disdainful glance is too much of a luxury.
