Chapter 129: Chapter 0129: The Class Leader from Someone Else’s Class
Luan Fei, upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, involuntarily shuddered, and his footsteps came to a halt.
"You’re told to stay, yet you run? Want me to tear you apart?" Tie Mu roared when he saw Luan Fei attempting to flee.
Luan Fei really feared Tie Mu, the big fool, and at his roar, he stood frozen in place.
Turning around, Luan Fei looked at Tie Mu and Chu Feng with a fearsome exterior but inward trepidation, "What are you trying to do?"
Chu Feng walked up to Luan Fei and looked at him, trembling slightly, "Luan Fei, I know all these things were caused by you. It seems you have forgotten the words I said to you."
"What..."
Before Luan Fei could finish speaking, he felt a shadow strike him.
"Slap!"
A crisp sound followed by Luan Fei’s face covered in bruises, blood streaming from his nose.
The slap from Chu Feng had stunned Luan Fei, his vision filled with stars.
Chu Feng said coldly, "That slap was for Xiao Qi, and let me tell you something else. You’re no longer a classmate of mine, so I have no obligation to be responsible for you. If you dare target me and my classmates again, I won’t be polite to you, and you can get lost now!"
Luan Fei was completely disoriented by the sudden slap, but Chu Feng’s words sent chills all over his body.
"Not going to scram? Or would you rather I threw you out?" Tie Mu, like a menacing deity, said.
Luan Fei, seeing the formidable Tie Mu, ignored wiping his nosebleed and scurried away, dejectedly.
"Class President is mighty!"
Qi Houbo, watching Luan Fei’s retreating figure, also raised his fist and shouted.
"Class President is mighty!"
The whole class joined Qi Houbo in chanting.
Previously, everyone thought Chu Feng’s promise to take responsibility was just lip service. But now it was clear that Chu Feng’s words were not empty; he was indeed fulfilling his promises with action.
Having such a class president was truly a blessing for everyone.
"All right, everyone, take your seats. Our seats are already the envy of others. Although your class president can fight, there are nearly ten thousand freshmen in the whole school, and your class president isn’t Superman—fighting ten thousand alone will only get him beaten," Chu Feng said with a smile.
Upon hearing Chu Feng’s words, everyone burst into laughter.
The students from Class Two, looking at Class One from afar, had mixed feelings, some even wishing they could transfer to Class One.
"Look at their class president, then look at ours!"
"Our class president is out cold, he can’t hear you even if you said something!"
Someone in Class Two mocked.
"And that traitor, missing such a good opportunity to stay in Class One. If it was me, I would’ve done anything to remain there—that’s the true class president!"
As Luan Fei listened to everyone’s discussion, his face felt even more painful.
After the students of Class One settled down, Qi Houbo leaned over to Chu Feng and said, "Chu Feng, that was awesome. It would have been even more satisfying if I were the one giving that slap."
Han Chunsheng replied, "If you were the one hitting him, the effect wouldn’t have been the same. With your skinny arms and legs, you could slap him numerous times and still not achieve the same result."
Qi Houbo said, "Old Han, do you always have to contradict me?"
Han Chunsheng replied, "I’m just telling it like it is."
While everyone was joking around and chatting, the evening event officially began.
To Chu Feng, the evening celebration was not particularly appealing; he was there merely to satisfy everyone else’s wishes.
As Chu Feng sat there, bored to death, a fragrant breeze wafted by.
"Mengying... Teacher Xie, what brings you here?" Chu Feng asked Xie Mengying, who had taken a seat beside him.
Since their last encounter, Xie Mengying hadn’t appeared much, so her sudden presence caught Chu Feng somewhat off guard.
Xie Mengying glared at Chu Feng and said, "Why can’t I come? I’m your class advisor. Don’t I even have the right to attend? Or do you think you, as class president, have already replaced me as the class advisor?"
Chu Feng hurriedly pleaded for mercy, "Teacher Xie, I was just speaking off the cuff. Just pretend I never said it."
Xie Mengying glared at Chu Feng again before turning her gaze to the students performing on stage and asked, "When are Xiaoxiao and Fang Ting scheduled to appear?"
Chu Feng answered, "They should be the last to perform. I’m afraid it’s not their turn yet."
Xie Mengying said, "Most of the audience is here to see those two. Students don’t have much money to spend on concerts all the time. Knowing that they were going to be here got everyone really excited."
Chu Feng touched his nose and commented, "I didn’t realize these two girls were so popular."
Xie Mengying responded, "You haven’t seen the crowd outside. If you saw the throng blocking the entrance, you wouldn’t be so surprised! This is a freshman event, so the upperclassmen can’t get in. They’re all stuck outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of Xiaoxiao and Fang Ting."
"Really?" Since Chu Feng and the others arrived early, they were unaware of the congestion outside.
Xie Mengying continued, "Since their debut, those two girls have been insanely popular. They’re the goddesses in the hearts of all the college students, with many willing to skip meals just to see them perform."
Chu Feng said, "I had no idea."
Glancing at Chu Feng, Xie Mengying said, "Thank you for saving Mia last time."
Chu Feng smiled and replied, "Mia is your friend, and she’s also my employee. It was only right for me to save her."
Xie Mengying hesitated, then added, "You know, you’re a hero in Mia’s eyes now. She talks about you every day, saying she wants to devote herself to you."
Hearing Xie Mengying’s words, Chu Feng felt a headache coming on. Mia, that enthusiastic American girl, wasn’t like Fan Xiaoxiao who only talked a big game. Mia was serious about it.
Seeing the pained expression on Chu Feng’s face, Xie Mengying couldn’t help but snicker.
Chu Feng looked at Xie Mengying and said grumpily, "Teacher Xie, do you find this funny?"
Xie Mengying teased, "I think it’s quite funny. And really, Mia isn’t so bad. Even though she’s American, she’s never had a boyfriend. I’ve never seen anyone make her so smitten before."
Seeing Xie Mengying mocking him, Chu Feng retorted, "So, Teacher Xie, in your few years in the USA, did you also never have a boyfriend? Were you also pure as jade?"
Blushing at Chu Feng’s words, Xie Mengying’s face turned red, and she twisted Chu Feng’s waist sharply with her small hand, exclaiming, "You little rascal, what did you say!"
Chu Feng said, "Just asking, Teacher Xie. I found out last time when I helped warm your feet that you were still untouched."
At Chu Feng’s words, Xie Mengying’s face grew redder, and she increased the strength of her grip.
Just as Chu Feng was about to ask about the ring on Xie Mengying’s finger,
the auditorium suddenly erupted in excitement. Chu Feng also turned his attention to the stage, seeing that Fan Xiaoxiao and Fang Ting had taken the stage as the final act.
