Not only did North Dragon Island lose many clansmen, but she herself was seriously wounded, and the North Dragon King escaped. A moment later, Gu He released his powerful soul force, examining Zi Yan’s condition carefully.

As he checked, Gu He’s expression became even graver.

‘She’s actually this badly hurt!’ Gu He was startled in his heart.

While Gu He was inspecting her, Zi Yan lowered her head, shame visible on her face.

“Master Gu He, some time ago, the Dragon Emperor led us to reclaim the clan’s other three dragon islands. West and South Dragon Islands surrendered without a fight. Only the North Dragon King resisted. He used the clan’s forbidden Demon Dragon Transformation Array, slaughtered thirty to forty percent of North Dragon Island’s people, and absorbed their flesh and souls to push his strength up to four-star Dou Saint.”

Qingshan spoke quickly but clearly.
