Chapter 1017: Chapter 1017 Riddle

It was also a place of opportunities where quests could be freely given and received but with hefty rewards to render unto each successful deals. It was especially true unto the hardest quests in store.

"Good morning, young master Han Sen! How can the Hidden Mist Pavilion serve you today?" A lovely matured woman asked in respect.

With how she knew our op mc with not 2 days passed of his stay on this village had shown the immense information gathering resources of this place and its clever people of course.

"I come bearing gifts and good news. I have the solution for the Celestial Riddle." Han Sen replied and the moment he finished those words, an irresistible compulsion descended unto his very person.

If this was merely a mortal person or even a cultivator with at least a Nascent Soul Realm then he would have easily been squashed into a blood mist thereafter.

Alas, this meager strength was nothing in front of our very own protagonist.

With such a grave overreaction, it was obvious that the quest for the Celestial Riddle was absolutely not just a simple one. It was something that deaths were a worthy enough sacrifice to hasten its cause.

"Where have you heard of the Celestial Riddle, fellow daoist?" The lovely matured woman at the reception of the pavilion turned icy cold and serious.

Her body was practically giving off a dangerous vibe and there were an exhaust of chaotic spiritual energies around her person which depicted of a fight to come.

"Stand down, Elder Zhang."

"You are not his match." An aged man’s voice arrived on the scene before his body materialized in the place.

The old man wore a regal cultivator robe made pure purple and his wizened gaze pierced unto the stationary form of our op mc. He found no extraordinary features at all.

No cultivation base whatsoever nor any signs of powerful treasure that could shield him from the full attack from earlier that could have easily liquefied a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator into nothing but blood goo.

"Thank you, Master Yang." Elder Zhang nodded and silently went behind the old man. Although she knew that this young master was not simple but she has not trained for so long to be a coward in front of any strong adversity.

’Tell me all you know about this young man.’ Master Yang sent a silent spiritual message unto the junior woman. They conversed for less than a minute before any words was given next.

"Does young master Han Sen really has information about the Celestial Riddle?"

Master Yang asked excited. He was one of the old monsters who knew about the significance of this problem unto the Hidden Mist Sect.

If they could successfully open that treasure trove, it would bring the sect into a whole new level.

"I do. But there is no free lunch on this world. I want something in return." Han Sen replied calmly.

"Of course. Of course, young master. Please follow me and let’s discuss your terms."

Master Yang offered. He knew that there were secrets inside this young man because of what transpired earlier but he delved no further on this issue.

The problem or the solution of the Celestial Riddle overshadowed any matter on the table. A few hours later and an amiable agreement happened between the two parties involved.

"Early 15 days, late 1 month. I could be patient for that long. Hmmm..." Han Sen nodded and whistled his way out of the Hidden Mist Pavilion.

He had safeguarded the agreement well and so he totally did not have any reason doubt the reputation of the Hidden Mist Sect.

Twenty seven days later and a burning phoenix shadowed the entire Dragon’s Breath Village. One can only imagine the size of this magical creature.

Atop it sat one lucky soul and this was of course the master of this mythical being. The pair of master and creature landed on a famous landmark of the village. Hidden Mist Pavilion.

An hour later and a march that stretched for miles proceeded without fail. It was a show of power but more than that, it was created to honor a specific house in the village. The Han Clan.

"The house of Han is honored for this visit. Please come in." Elder Yu Qian visibly trembled at this assembly of power. The powerhouses before her could easily end her old life with just a slap.

What was most terrifying was the feeling she got from the divine lady at the center of this formation.

It felt like she had already separated herself from nature itself and has gone beyond the constraints of this world.

She was the most powerful cultivator that Elder Yu Qian had seen in her nine hundred plus years of living. What was worst also was that Elder Yu Qian did not know the purpose of this visit.

’Had anyone of the clan offended the Hidden Mist Sect?!’ The Elder feared for the worst outcome she could think of. She tried to hide her worries with a smile yet it appeared forced to say the least. Nevertheless, Elder Yu Qian tried to attend to the guests to the best of her ability.

"To what do we owe the honor of your visit, esteemed elders?" Elder Yu Qian finally asked the most important question of the day.

They were already in the main meeting halls and they could only fit at most five hundred people at the same time.

The visitors were also wise enough to note this and so only the most powerful five hundred people had seats of honor in the halls.

Elder Yu Qian was innovative enough to hire more servants from the village in order to better serve these powerful men and women today.

This impromptu visit was definitely not on her bucket list of expectations when she first heard of coming here in Dragon’s Breath Village.

"Please summon the young master of your clan, Elder Yu Qian." It was an old man who spoke these words and he was a famous personality for long long ago.
