Chapter 946: Chapter 223 KO
The Dragon Clan has its pride, and this stubbornness is deeply ingrained.
Just as the Fairy Dragon Luna clenched her teeth and resolved to fight to the death, Ibrahim released the captive Rainbow Dragon, Ibrahim.
Given it was a matter of pride, Ibrahim did not want to cause a death incident, after all, in the cities of Morning Star and Rainbow, there were more than just this pair of Rainbow Dragon and Fairy Dragon.
With a cold glare, the Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim’s chest heaved dramatically, obviously unwilling and dissatisfied.
"I never expected that a Piegel would brazenly break the rules!" The expression on the face of the Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim was forcibly indifferent. Clearly, Ibrahim was very confident in the stones his foot had kicked up; his expression conveyed an unmistakable message—if your shield hadn’t stopped the debris I kicked up, how could I have possibly lost to you!
For a Rainbow Dragon, defeat was terribly hard to accept, especially when using his best move. Such a defeat was simply unforgivable. Hence, Ibrahim had to come up with a reason to soothe his tumultuous emotions.
"Quit talking about my Magic Shield! My shield follows the invisible tattoos, it doesn’t need to be triggered. In fact, the shield was always there, you just didn’t see it!" Ibrahim snapped, tearing open his shaman robe made of porcupine skin to reveal his sturdy pectorals and the intensely crimson dragon tattoo engorged with blood. This Five-clawed Blood Dragon looked like a bloody python hidden in a nest of grass.
Both the Rainbow Dragon and Fairy Dragon spotted the thrashing Azure Dragon in the Magic Shield around his body.
Ibrahim turned his back, fully exposing his robust back.
The Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim narrowed his eyes; on the steel-like muscular back of this Piegel, he saw a huge, glowing tiger coming down the mountain, its fangs fully bared as if roaring, and eyes like burning cinnabar shimmering with a sinister bloody red, venomous if you approached.
Any movement from this Piegel seemed to animate the tiger tattoo on his back muscles too.
Ibrahim shifted his gaze towards the two dragons and lifted his finger towards his arm, which bore tattoos identical to the several shimmering Magic Shields.
The Magic Shields of Overlord Piegel, whether in shape or number, were eerily strange, and Luna, with all her knowledge of magic, could not figure out the origin of these tattooed shields.
With a smirk, Ibrahim said, "Master Puskas knows what Blood Magic is. If you don’t believe me, you can go ask him anytime."
Even a dragon struck dumb by lightning would recognize from Piegel’s expression that he was decidedly not lying, but... being defeated by Piegel was something the Rainbow Dragon simply couldn’t swallow.
"Even if your shield doesn’t need activation, what then?" Fairy Dragon Luna, truly quick-witted, knew she needed to help exonerate her husband. "Since it was agreed to use physical strength, your Magic Shield helped you, and that counts as you breaking the rules!"
"Enough with your nonsense!" Ibrahim sneered. "What about Ibrahim’s magnetic bi-polarity? Is that physical strength?"
"That’s his natural skin, and the force from his skin is of course physical strength!" Fairy Dragon Luna argued, her face flushing.
"Quit your nitpicking! Anyway, all cards are on the table. How about we fight again? This way, we stop the ’he said, she said.’ Does that work for you?" Ibrahim glanced slyly at Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim. "What do you say?"
"That’s your word," Ibrahim’s eyes suddenly brightened.
Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim was unwilling to accept his recent defeat; even if Overlord Piegel hadn’t said it, Ibrahim would’ve found a reason to fight again—that was certain.
Fairy Dragon Luna opened her mouth as if to speak but then stopped herself.
"No more excuses this time, if you lose," Ibrahim winked mischievously, beckoning Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim with a tone like one lecturing a naughty child, "I’ve decided, you can choose when to start the fight again! In my opinion, you better take a rest first. The loser deserves that privilege."
"Fine! Fine! Fine!" Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim trembled with rage, took several deep breaths to calm his agitated mood, shook his ankles and wrists, and walked to stand opposite Ibrahim.
A powerful aura immediately emanated from Ibrahim, demonstrating that he hadn’t given it his all during his clash with Mourinho just yet.
Now, he was clearly prepared to fight the most striking, unequivocal battle to reclaim his tarnished honor.
"Let’s start the fight!" Ibrahim roared like thunder. "Piegel, I will show you what the true strength of a Rainbow Dragon is!"
"Are you serious?" Ibrahim laughed as he raised his severed arm. "Me, a crippled Piegel, and you, fully capable, and you still call yourself a proud member of the Dragon Clan?"
"What do you propose, then?" Rainbow Dragon Ibrahim furrowed his brow. "If you feel short-changed, I can fight you without using my hands!"
"Your expertise is in kicking, you don’t need hands to fight, but I’m different. I rely on my hands!" Ibrahim pointed to his mithril arm on the ground.
