Chapter 910: Chapter 211: The Pearl Above Sand City_3

Strange occurrences happen every year, but this year there are particularly many.

First, there was a butterfly priestess who had just returned to her homeland and could release lightning attacks, followed by the appearance of an extremely rare priestess named Chekin.

Then, there appeared a hardly survivable trio of mutated Magical Beasts, not just one, but triplets!!

How magical!

For the first time in the history of Beamon, a civilian priestess managed to possess three Magical Beasts, exactly equating to the magical pet count of the war god Kampas! This was something unattainable by search, as only egg-born triplet Magical Beasts could become magical pets, and viviparous Magical Beasts did not qualify. The chances of triplets occurring in egg-born Magical Beasts were exceedingly low!

All these coincidences actually collided!

A massive gasp contracted the air in the entire arena, creating a whistling hurricane.

"Kampas!" Liu was utterly fixated on the beautiful Chekin priestess, as if assessing the rare triplet Magical Beasts and also admiring the petite waist and long beautiful legs of this young beauty, leaving no one to know what exactly he was marveling at.

Moer’s Nine-chain Lightning finally met its match: three Flame Crocodile-Turtles firing a total of twenty-seven Flame Arrows in rapid succession, taking advantage of the split second of lightning fission to finally withstand Moer’s attack.

If it were a quick fight, the three Flame Crocodile-Turtles might not have been able to endure Moer’s instant lightning, enduring it also might not last long, but Moer was controlling the pace of the battle wanting to test the capabilities of these Flame Turtles, and being the top Mage from Phyllactery, Moer still had many aces up her sleeve she hadn’t used yet. Her Angel’s Twelve-Scale Belt could add twelve different negative effects on a magic attack at once, or enhance twelve separate waves of attacks with negative effects one by one, and Moer was eager for an opportunity to test it.

Almost all the priests in the entire arena stopped their matches, foolishly watching Moer contend with the "Rocket Barrage" from the three Flame Turtles.

By then, no one was thinking about why the young Butterfly beauty wasn’t using a Magical Beast anymore, their minds reduced to mere foolishness.

Not all the priests had stopped their battles, though. Two priests in a remote corner had finished their fight. Perhaps because of the location’s seclusion, or perhaps because everyone’s attention was elsewhere, the actions of these two priests went almost unnoticed – they did not use Magical Beasts either and instead chose magic attacks, just that they weren’t being as conspicuous as Moer or the beautiful Chekin priestess.

"Those are your brother and sister, right?" Liu asked Gortani, pointing towards the two slender figures in the distant corner.

"Yes, Your Majesty." responded the Swan Knight with a faint smile, "They are my treasures."

Liu pursed his lips into a smile.

"You might as well give up." Moer’s voice from above pulled everyone’s wandering thoughts back into their heads.

"Never!" The voice of the beautiful Chekin priestess was as sweet as she was, equally stubborn and unwilling.

"Let me show you something." Moer chuckled, muttered a string of strange incantations, and flung out a streak of golden light.

Under the blazing halo bursting from the Blood Jade Ring, a godly yet beggarly colossal Stone Man stood in the arena, accompanied by a large pile of rocks. Whether it was the Stone Man or the rocks, all gleamed with an eerie reflective shine at some parts, quite bizarre indeed.

"Oh God!" The surrounding stands erupted into chaos, with the weaker and more timid Beamon fainting outright.

In the VIP stands, whether it was His Majesty the King or the pope beneath the rainbow, everyone instantly stood up, their pupils dilated to the extreme.

Inside the Blood Jade Ring that Liu had given to Moer, there originally lay a Golden Figure from Yun Qin and a pile of scrap copper.

During the battle in Salino Swamp, under the overwhelming Magic Curse "Meteor Shower" from the Flame Emperor, the two Golden Figures in the Blood Jade Ring that was gifted to Yi were glazed over with Obsidian lava cascade. This type of obsidian lava, once cooled, adhered very well and was extremely hard; coating over the Golden Figures and upon cooling, though unevenly solidified and aesthetically displeasing, it could not be denied that the Golden Figures were much harder than before, already repaired by Difeng Giants through a welding method and further enveloped with a stone shell which provided some good protection for the much-afflicted Golden Figures; so Liu had Moer visit Salino Swamp herself, tossed the Golden Figures into the lava, and then quickly recovered them, also coated with a layer of stone shell.

The beauty from the Chekin clan was completely devastated, as she appeared insignificant in front of a twelve-meter-tall giant Stone Golem.

People often say I’m verbose, but actually, it isn’t intentional. Considering that I’m writing about a country, a race, a so-called sense of historical depth is indispensable. After all, they are intelligent beings, not just one powerful or one enlightened individual.

Perhaps I haven’t managed to convey it, and for that, I am regretful....
