Chapter 800: Chapter 175: Enticement of Interests
"If I ever have the chance, I will definitely spread out my canvas and oil paints for the beautiful scenery of Feilengcui," Bog Camp’s White Tiger priest skillfully narrowed the distance with Liu, making the atmosphere instantly more intimate.
The vulgar Vajra Parrot perched on Liu’s shoulder, craning its neck and squawking noisily, while Guoguo stood on Liu’s right shoulder, holding his belly in laughter.
Liu immediately had a face full of ’Huangguoshu Waterfall’ sweat.
"What a cute little thing!" Lord Bog Camp, ever the witty one, did not mind at all, laughed heartily to diffuse the situation, and even reached out to pinch the hookbill of the plump Vajra Parrot.
"Boss~" The little parrot, true to its heroic nature, immediately shook off the Tiger Man priest’s approaching finger and turned its head towards Liu’s face.
Even though Lord Bog Camp was broad-minded, his laughter almost choked him at that moment; Liu couldn’t help laughing out loud and clapped the Tiger Man priest on the shoulder heartily.
"These people are..." Lord Bog Camp turned his gaze to Prince Moore and the large group of Blood Elves mages, each with a sphere of light around their necks, looking puzzled. Elves generally didn’t think highly of Beamon, and it was quite a sight to see a few hundred of them all at once.
"These are some Elf friends of mine," Liu glanced toward Lord Mourinho, the head Swan priest. The shocked expression on the Tiger Man priest’s face didn’t seem feigned. Liu guessed that Lord Mourinho probably didn’t want the Underground Elves’ affairs to be known to all, considering Mourinho had placed these fallen Elves in the Donau Wasteland merely to annex them. After all, why reveal your cards to others?
"Does the Bimon Kingdom also have Elf slaves?" Prince Moore, Binitez, asked as his eyes landed on two young and beautiful women behind Lord Bog Camp. Dressed in typical court maid attire and very cute and charming, these women revealed their identities clearly with their pointed ears.
"You are mistaken, sir Elf," the Tiger Man priest, Bog Camp, said with a light smile, "These two maids are Rabbit Beauties from the Ribera clan, vassals of our Taige Tribe. Although they possess sharp ears, they are definitely Beamon, not Elves. High Priest Brut specifically asked me to present these two court-trained Rabbit Beauties as maids to Lord Richard given his very simple lifestyle."
The two Rabbit Beauties immediately revealed their clan-specific cute small buckteeth with a slight smile, pinched the hems of their skirts, and curtsied deeply to the Overlord, almost drawing half of Liu’s soul away.
"How could I possibly accept this?" Liu said with a silly smile on his face, yet found it quite amusing internally.
"My father Ridge Karl asked me to send his regards to you," Lord Bog Camp whispered to Liu, pointing to four muscular Biao warriors in the distance, "These four Taige Biao men are the attendants Sir Brut and my father sent as a gift for Miss Helen."
"Your generosity moves me," Liu sniffed and sneezed heavily.
Ridge Karl is the current clan chief of the Taige and also one of the most renowned painters in the Kingdom of Bimon, almost as famous as His Majesty Grecke Sal. Even someone as uninformed as Liu was aware of this influential royal family member. Indeed, Lord Bog Camp was no ordinary person—being able to gift four Biao warriors was an extraordinary gesture, especially to someone like Liu who had 420 Two-Headed Chimeras and wasn’t particularly concerned about the four warriors.
"If I can win your friendship, it would be the greatest surprise for our Taige Tribe," Lord Bog Camp said with a lowered gaze, his voice as thin as a strand of silk.
"I’m not too fond of constraints," Liu laughed.
"Having your friendship is enough for us," Bog Camp said, raising his eyebrows magnanimously, "For a Dragon Priest and Puppet Master, we don’t have high hopes for ourselves."
After whispering these words, the Tiger Man priest gracefully stepped aside, crisp and without any superfluous words.
Liu thought this kid was a hundred times smarter than Prince Richard, that dimwit, even though the latter seemed more capable in a fight.
"Sir, this is the Imperial Inspector, Earl Garnett," Priest Jabbar drew a silk handkerchief from his tailcoat collar and tidied up Liu’s hair before introducing another dignified-looking Wolf noble, around forty years old, with a sleazy appearance and neatly maintained beard, wearing a family crest featuring a snow wolf holding a staff and lightning at his chest. Fourteen shattered diamonds formed a constellation on the crest, signifying that Earl Garnett came from a noble family with a fourteen-hundred-year-long history.
Seeing Earl Garnett’s self-assured demeanor, Liu deliberately avoided greeting him first. As a Star Robe Priest, he was exempt from noble titles and enjoyed the privilege of being bowed to first.
Earl Garnett clearly didn’t expect such arrogance from a baronet, but, respecting the Star Robe, he begrudgingly bowed first, his face twisted awkwardly.
