Chapter 794: Chapter 173: Dance of the True Orchid (Part 1)

Hell Black Dragon killing a lance was something Old Liu could understand, but Lord Mourinho had returned to the surface nearly half a month ago, and the verbal agreement regarding the sharing of spoils had already been reached. Suddenly, High Priest Mourinho returned to the underground, which was quite startling for Liu.

A live bird looks up, a dead one turns over.

He felt quite apprehensive at the thought of not having seen the Swan High Priest, but once he really had to face him, Liu wasn’t too worried. After all, they were all Beamons. Even if Lord Mourinho had conflicts with him, they would stand together when facing foreign insults. However, if he brought up any conditions related to the sharing of spoils, that would be another story.

Twin Phoenixes! Damn! When Liu thought about it, he was both jealous and relieved. With two phoenixes around, no matter how arrogant the Hell Black Dragon was, he would have to weigh the consequences. The Dragon Clan, a species with great wisdom, valued their own lives highly. They wouldn’t hesitate to bully ordinary folks. If they genuinely wanted to eradicate a powerful being, they wouldn’t have allowed the other super-tier magical beasts on the Furious Flame Continent to survive till now.

However, even if the Fire Phoenix Priests didn’t grace them with their presence, Liu would not care. He was now a Magic Tutor, on par with the Dragon Clan, no longer just a Magic Teacher. Though the Blood Arrow spell he spat out was a low-level magic attack, it was still a Magic Tutor’s Blood Arrow. These Hell Black Dragons wouldn’t know that he hadn’t learned magic attack. He could bluff them by waving Taige’s skin as a flag.

Of course, if all else fails, there is the Gabriel Demon Butterfly. They could all just break out into dance!

Today, Lord Mourinho, the Swan Priest, had evidently lost his usual elegance and composure. Jumping down from the Fire Phoenix’s back, before anyone else could talk to him, he preemptively started shouting, "Where is Nico? Where is my little Nico?"

"Quickly tell me! Remel! Deshang! Where is my Nini?" Mourinho was on the verge of grabbing the collars of two Pier Staff Shamans and lifting them off the ground. His handsome face was filled with an angry aura.

Today, the Swan Priest acted out of character, completely overturning the gentle and refined image he had always projected in the minds of the Beamon tribe.

"She is here!" The hippopotamus poets, wiggling their massive buttocks, made way and called out to Priest Mourinho.

Despite being hit on the forehead with a helmet by Guoguo, Gortani, even with her silver helmet, couldn’t withstand the powerful impact. Although the injury wasn’t too severe, Guoguo was strong yet measured. With her strength, smashing the beautiful skull of the Swan Priestess would be no hard feat.

Gortani was laying on the ground, cushioned by a cloak, momentarily unconscious. Her sleeping posture was in stark contrast to her usually heroic demeanor. The sleeping her appeared innocent amidst purity, as pure as a gem under water. Her platinum blonde hair spilled naturally over her white wings, and tear-drops hung like dew on her high eyelashes.

"Nico~My little Nico!" The Swan Priest let go of the two bear shamans and hurried to Gortani’s side, gently stroking her face. The Priest’s chiseled face expressed intense heartache, even the wings on his back trembled.

Liu was startled to hear the Swan Priest calling Gortani by her nickname.

This Fire Phoenix certainly did catch Liu’s eye. The span of this bird of immortality was ten meters, with fiery red eyes and crown feathers, red claws under its red feathers, and three long red tail feathers trailing behind its butt, making it look utterly majestic.

At first glance, Old Liu thought the bird was covered in blazing flames, but upon a closer look, he noticed that it was the bright fire elemental light rolling on the golden-red feathers, creating this illusion due to its density.

Seeing a pig face staring at it, the Phoenix stretched its neck and let out a high and sharp phoenix cry from its red beak, the tail feathers swaying and emitting a sky full of glowing rays.

The YiTiao, swaying and supporting itself with its wings, steadily stood up, wobbling like a drunk, and locked eyes with the Fire Phoenix.

The size and appearance of YiTiao and the Phoenix were not much different. YiTiao was fiery red because it was skinless, showing red, tender flesh, while the Phoenix was covered with surging fire elements.

Old Liu looked back at YiTiao and then at the Phoenix.

Of course, the YiTiao with its red quilt and snow feathers was handsome and in no way inferior to the Phoenix. However, now it has peeled its skin, and the blisters were still spotty.

"Do you think I look ugly?" YiTiao wrapped his naked wing around Old Liu’s shoulder and asked.

"How could I have a magical pet as ugly as you?" Old Liu exclaimed.

"You and Mourinho compare like the "current" me to this phoenix." YiTiao hummed with contempt.
