The Six-winged Flame Demon was eager to apply his unquestionable loyalty and rush over to lend a hand, but was blocked by the Tide Lord Gerein. Another altercation broke out between them on the spot, with the two Moore Mage’s desperately offering assistance. However, nine times out of ten, their motivation was the tantalizing prospect of harvesting the power offered by the death of the Flame Demon. With only two wings of flesh remaining, the demon was indeed the paragon of a down-on-his-luck underdog.

"If I can’t beat you in hand to hand combat, I’d never sleep a wink for the rest of my life! It’s your sheer luck that I didn’t smash your eyes last time!" Barking out, Yi launched a kick from the ground and broke an erect pillar of obsidian. He picked up the resulting piece with the thickness of a bowl and began to swing it around wildly, hammering down onto the Flame Emperor on the ground like a windmill, causing the Emperor to hold his head and roll all over in pain.

"What use is your strength if you can’t even hit me! What kind of skill it is to rely on your mommy to pull others’ mouths open!" brandishing the obsidian stick, Yi landed another blow on the Flame Emperor’s forehead.

A scream of agony reverberated through the air. The Flame Emperor, clutching his left eye, began to painfully roll on the ground. Yi eyed the obsidian stick in his hand, surprised. At the top end of it was a sharp protrusion embedded with patches of black and white glass, now covered in fresh blood drops.

"Damn it! Damn it all!" Flame Emperor Basturk let out a piercing roar of rage. Struggling to his feet, he spat out mouthfuls of blood while weaving magic spells with his hands, symbolized by his blood. His left eye was smeared with blood, and as he squinted, blood kept pouring out from the crevice of the eye, with a piece of mashed flesh hanging from the eyelid.

Just when Yi, with a malevolent expression on his face, was about to swing his stone club, Liu Zhenhan fell from the sky and grabbed Yi’s arm. Liu curled his foot, hooked it around Flame Emperor’s neck, who was incanting a spell at the time, made a large somersault in the air using the gravity of the fall and twisted his waist. The clear sound of a snap, indicative of a broken neck, was heard instantly.

The Flame Emperor, now in human form, trembled and collapsed to the ground – his head was twisted at an unnatural angle, almost a three hundred degree turn, his neck skin twisted into a floral roll, and his pupils showed no signs of life.

Flame Emperor Basturk, no longer in his original form and thus having a significantly reduced skeletal size, though maintaining the same bone density, had his most vulnerable cervical vertebrae snapped clean off in an instant by Liu Zhenhan using the "Sebad" anti-joint technique, aided by the lever force of his leg.

It was just as if an ax were to try and chop down a large tree, it would simply bounce off. But when the same ax came into contact with a significantly smaller steel rod, it would decisively chop it in half, regardless of the rod’s resilience.

Even though the human form had higher agility and possessed the same physical strength and magical power, the original form of the magical beasts weren’t completely useless aswell. Flame Emperor Basturk sure died with his eyes wide open in disbelief.

A scream from Gerein filled the air, followed by a loud thump of his body hitting the ground. The Six-winged Flame Demon continued to soar in the sky, while Gerein lay on the ground. The two Blood Magic Mages too fell from the sky, one after the other, with only one Blood Infant flapping its flesh wings and escaping.

A ball of dragon breath imbued with blistering heat and dense smoke came hurtling towards Liu Zhenhan. However, it split open and slid past him just before it could hit.

"Oh crap!" Liu Zhenhan cursed under his breath, as he knew without even looking up, that the Hell Black Dragon and Evil-eye Tyrant in the sky couldn’t resist the temptation to reap the benefits anymore.
