Chapter 681: Chapter 142 Negotiation_7

Liu Zhenhan thought back to his encounter with the fallen elves in the Ink Crystal Valley, who used another offbeat magic - Dark Magic. There were many mages among them, but beyond creating clouds of "Deep Dark Fog", they could only summon undead creatures and lacked variety in their spells, certainly not as versatile as human magicians who kept diversifying their magic techniques.

As for that Hell Black Dragon, who knows how they conjured it up.

Adding Xiao Cui’s mention of Demonic Fire and Levitation Technique, this Dark Magic of the Drow Elves seemed similar to the Shamans who possess magical creatures, and somewhat like the Soul Wanderers. A weird mix of everything, yet resembling nothing.

Liu Zhenhan gradually sorted out his thoughts; the unconventional magic of the fallen elves, though easy to learn and seemingly numerous, had a significant irreparable flaw - it was difficult to develop on a deep level.

As he was contemplating, Prince Benitez beside him was visibly elated, happy to see the stunned expression on the Beamon Shaman’s face upon hearing the large numbers of mages. It gave Prince Benitez immense satisfaction.

"Such a formidable magical power shouldn’t remain hidden underground. It’s a huge loss." Liu Zhenhan regained his composure, enthusiastically complimenting, "Elves truly are the best at sensing elemental power!"

"Don’t say that, I’ve seen the magical prowess of your Mage, human magic users are indeed formidable." Prince Benitez wasn’t swayed by the flattery. His gaze rested on Master Otigha, lingering there.

Master Otigha was laughing inside. He was just an Intermediate Mage, a disciple of Stefano, the court Magic Tutor of Francisco Empire. His fundamentals were sound, but he was merely an Intermediate Mage. Master Otigha guessed that these Blood Elf Mages were likely of a lower level, otherwise they wouldn’t be so captivated by an intermediate Fire Magic Mage like himself.

Liu Zhenhan was also amused by Prince Moore.

"If we go to the surface, can Moore have a mutual aid agreement with Beamon Kingdom?" Prince Benitez asked again.

"Of course." The moment Liu Zhenhan responded, the two Scepter Shamans rolled their eyes at the side. They knew that Richard was running his mouth again.

"I am touched by your sincere intentions, but first, please dismiss your entourage. What we are about to discuss is highly confidential." Prince Benitez looked around the Beamon, addressing the Beamon Shamans.

Liu Zhenhan contemplated and took Prince Moore aside.

Prince Moore broke out in sweat when he saw Liu Zhenhan pull out a gleaming three-edged dagger, his eyes full of sinister intent.

"Don’t worry; you’re a Blood Elf after all. I’m just taking precautions." Liu Zhenhan weighed the dagger in his hand and said plainly, "Now, you can share any secrets you have."

"Then I will say it..." Prince Moore swallowed, glancing at the dagger, "We Moore Elves have always dreamed of returning to the surface, but with the Drow Elves, there’s a lot of disagreements. Most of the Drow are for it, but many are against it, mainly because Dark Elves are sensitive to sunlight and the ceremony to adapt to sunlight is problematic for them."

"Are you suggesting that just creating a Teleportation Array for Moore will suffice?" Liu Zhenhan squinted his eyes, asking with a probing tone.

"I wish I could, but that’s not possible." Prince Moore chuckled bitterly, " A mass migration like this can’t be kept secret from these alert Dark Elves. Many of them want to leave the dark underground. If we leave without them, they will definitely turn against us. But there are also Drow who are unwilling to leave as they can’t stand to see their kind all gone. On the third layer of the Underground World, Poso Continent, we have the Evil-eye Tyrant and the Hell Black Dragon watching over us. If they find out that we plan to leave the underground, they certainly won’t agree. Also, the Moore alone won’t be safe on the surface, so we need to move as one. There should be no margin for error in any step!"

"Even the fallen elves know that unity is strength?" Liu Zhenhan laughed dryly.

"Even ants know that unity is strength, how could we not know? Although if we successfully arrive on the surface, we’ll probably go our separate ways in due course." Prince Moore responded gloomily, "We thought that it would take many years to dig a passage to the surface, allowing for internal conflicts to be gradually resolved. Who knew that Richard would appear and prove to be a godsend! But how do we resolve the internal disagreements amongst the Drow now? There’s no time for mediation."

"Let’s persuade these dissenting Dark Elves together. If necessary, we can take some certain measures." Liu Zhenhan’s face twisted cruelly, his words filled with a brutal bloodthirsty tone.

"The Dark Elves, despite their inner conflicts, are quite united externally. Any moves might backfire." Prince Moore Benitez smiled bitterly, "The internal beliefs of the Drow Elves are quite divided, some follow the Spider Queen Rose, some follow the Scorpion God Conan, while others follow bizarre minor cults. The differing beliefs cause their internal disagreements. Those wanting to return to the surface are desperate, but those who don’t want to, are equally determined. We simply cannot find a balance."
