Boiling Beast Bloodline
Chapter 478 - 103 Absolute Power_2

Chapter 478: Chapter 103 Absolute Power_2

The creature known as Xu Dela the Hydra devours souls. Its pedigree was arguably more prestigious than the Tide Lord’s. Legend had it that this monstrous snake bore the bloodline of the divine clan. It could not be killed unless its central head was severed. If it were a storm-based Hydra, then this Xu Dela already possessed the power to summon tsunamis.

The favorite nourishment of these two powerful creatures was devouring souls, as this could augment their strength.

"Honored powerhouses, I am Richard, the Feilengcui Lord of the Bimon Kingdom." With a knowing smile, Liu addressed the two mighty entities, honestly, they were no less intimidating than coming face-to-face with the nobles of the Dragon Clan.

"Chuckling..." The Tide Lord Gerein began to laugh strangely, even his large pliers trembling amusingly. "Lord Richard, what a coincidence! I am also a lord... We should definitely be friendlier to each other, right?"

"Do you mean by having a fight?" Liu asked with an amiable chuckle.

"Don’t compare us to those foolish Magical Beasts. Dear Overlord, if we can’t even gauge our opponent’s strength, then we would not be Xu Dela and Gerein," chided the Tide Lord as he cocked his head, comfortably throwing the Egret that was dangling from his pincers into his mouth. He chewed while pointing a claw at the Golden Figures, "I’ve heard that in the Surface World, the mighty Dragon Clan always initiates a challenge against a foe indiscriminately. What a foolish act!"

Xu Dela the Hydra nodded with its middle head, seemingly in total agreement with this claim.

"The wisdom of you two powerhouses is enough to illuminate the sky." Liu also felt the same way about the Dragon Clan’s foolishness— if they weren’t foolish, they wouldn’t always be reduced to becoming a mount for humans and Beamons.

Guoguo and Figo stepped forward while the parrot flew over.

The Whale Warrior was one of the first to dash towards a swampy pond on one side, submerging his body halfway, rolling around, and gulping down several mouthfuls of water before he hurriedly got to his feet. He then went over to a coconut tree, snapped it apart with a kick and had all its branches shorn off to produce a decent cudgel.

Standing beside this Banilou Warrior—who clearly outsized the Golden Figures who were nearly kneeling on the ground—you could see that just like the Giant who didn’t fear the Dragon Clan, Figo, commander of the Seia Imperial Guards, wasn’t in the least bit bothered by the two powerful creatures who were only a tad taller than him.

As to whether he would win or lose, that was another matter.

"Piegel, hand the princess over to me! Protecting the princess is my responsibility!" Figo huffed and puffed while yelling at Liu.

"Here you go." Though his manners left much to be desired, Liu still carefully handed over the beetle to the Sea Clan behemoth.

The Whale Warrior Figo, carrying the princess whose soul had been transmigrated into the beetle, darted off into the distance before gently placing the beetle on the ground. He then turned around and gloomily hovered around the two divine envoys, a coconut tree at the ready in his hands.

"Who would’ve thought that such a formidable aura could emanate from such a little creature," the Tide Lord sounded somewhat astonished, training his massive eyes on Guoguo.

"Honored Tide Lord and Xu Dela, what are your plans about confronting us now—two new faces with powerful auras?" Liu chuckled. "Let’s say that just as how it is for the Dragon Clan, I believe if I were to intrude into your territories, you wouldn’t just brush it aside and be done with it..."

"Although I sense a powerhouse’s aura emanating from you, I don’t believe you and this Pichu are capable of simultaneously dealing with both Gerein and Xu Dela." The Tide Lord erupted into a series of strange laughter, "Devouring a soul as powerful as yours... it holds a lot of allure for us! The Sea Clan is becoming quite enterprising now, huh? They could even send such fine offerings..."

"Well, why not put your words into action then?"

"We are usually in deep slumber. I wake in Spring and Xu Dela in Autumn. It’s the aura from your body that’s aroused us both. This is a first in thousands of years. Let me tell you, you are not a threat to us by any means." The Tide Lord waved a claw and sighed, "How difficult it is now... no matter who makes the first move, the other one might seize the opportunity to make a sneak attack. To think both of us take pleasure in devouring robust souls... I want Xu Dela’s just as he wants mine, and we both desire yours as well. What should we do about this then?"

"So I am the meat bone, while both of you strong powerhouses are evenly matched dogs? Would this analogy work?" Liu chuckled heartily.

"That analogy works perfectly." The Tide Lord let out a strange laughter again.

"It is said that the Dragon, Snake, Turtle, and Clam can all produce pearls. I would love to see what kind of pearls are embedded in your heads." Liu casually tapped the stone monument beside him.

"Well then, let’s make it more interesting..." Heartily, the Tide Lord erupted into laughter.

"Honored Xu Dela, why not team up with me to first deal with this Tide Lord? We can then face-off against each other later. What do you think?" With that, Liu made the first proposal to the Hydra monster.

Upon hearing this, the Tide Lord Gerein was dumbstruck.

All nine heads of the Hydra viciously trained their gaze on the Tide Lord. The middle head of Xu Dela nodded at Liu. In its enormous snake eyes, a hint of approval was evident.
