Chapter 446: Chapter 97 Two Kinds of People_2
The Dragon Knight’s expression was indifferent yet serene, his calmness infused with confidence.
The deep and significant roar of the Golden Giant Dragon rolled across the sky, its obscure and hard to understand intonation and pitch informing all that this was the Dragon Language.
Fairy Dragon Daisy spoke slowly using the same strange pitch, as if responding to the inquiry of the Golden Giant Dragon.
Both Dragon Clan members were communicating with each other in their own language, but no one else could understand them.
"Prepare for battle, Piegel Priest!" Dragon Knight Lampard proudly brandished his dragon spear, his expression unchanging despite the presence of a Fairy Dragon.
"I salute you," said Liu in a sobered tone, pulling out the two Berserker Battle Axes from behind his back.
Guoguo stored away the toxic steel needle. Against such valiant warriors, using such a needle was beneath him.
A look of mutual recognition started to appear on the faces of the two dragon riders. It was a spontaneous feeling of faith, like two little thieves simultaneously reaching into the victim’s pocket, each grabbing the other’s hand without the victim’s awareness.
Once power escalates to a certain level, even with differing beliefs, their gaze can still convey to each other that, in fact, we are all the same.
The breathtaking spectacle finally began. The Golden Giant Dragon knew the cost of using magic in front of a Fairy Dragon, so it charged forward from the start, solely relying on physical combat. Its sharp fangs and claws were aimed directly at the Fairy Dragon Daisy spinning in the sky, seemingly showing no respect to this superior dragon.
The completely fearless fire crane, also not using any magic, collided with the Golden Giant Dragon from the sky. It had its own pride too. Whether intentional or unintentional, it actually shook off its saddle, throwing its riders to the ground. The cowhide belt around its belly was incredibly tough and the likelihood of it breaking was minimal. However, as it charged forward, its claws seemed to have made a hooking motion very subtly.
Fairy Dragon Daisy catching Guoguo and Katusha in the air, and the Vajra Parrot, cursing in the background, flew off by itself.
The weight of the fire crane was approximately six tons, while the Golden Giant Dragon weighed about fifteen tons. The Golden Dragon was indeed the largest dragon in the Dragon Clan.
Like two wild buffalo madly sprinting towards each other, the two giant beasts collided in unison. They started grappling with each other and gradually distanced from the spectators. All they could see was the long beak and fangs wildly dancing in the sky, scales and feathers occasionally flying off. These two super-level Warcraft, surprisingly using the most primitive and bloody battle tactics, had officially begun the spectacle in the sky.
The Fire Crane, whose weight was significantly lesser than the Giant Dragon’s, showed no fear and pounced fiercely without hesitation.
Liu’s weight was at least two hundred pounds. Fairy Dragon Daisy couldn’t handle something that heavy, so she could only watch as Liu fell from hundreds of yards high onto clay stalagmites, then rebounded onto the ground.
As Liu spit out a mouthful of sludge, a figure also staggered up from the ground.
Golden Dou Qi was violently fluctuating on this figure.
Golden Giant Dragon, Hasselbaink, also dumped its master off the dragon saddle! The Golden Giant Dragon only had one reason to do this: It wasn’t sure of victory.
Knight Lampard slicked back a lock of blonde hair loose from his helmet, gave a small smile to Liu, and deftly turned around, his silver cloak sweeping a round arc in the air. He smoothly drew his long sword and pointed it at Liu’s forehead from a distance.
Two crape myrtle patterns extended from the sword’s hilt, embedded with a large purple gem in the middle. A cold glimmer constantly shimmered on the blade.
Liu pulled out his battle axes from behind his back in response. Among all the Berserker axes that survived intact that day, Liu was carrying thirteen of them - the sum total of all that survived.
Liu spun the two colossal axes in his hands neatly, just like how he used to twirl his revolver, blew away his inequality, then fished out a cigar from his pocket, thought about it, and stuffed it back in.
Being held by Daisy, Guoguo and Katusha obviously had no intention of helping. On Guoguo’s face was a display of heroic arrogance, while Katusha was quietly probing into Daisy’s bosom. The cloak had no gaps, much to Katusha’s dissatisfaction.
With the usual tactics, Liu entered Berserk and Sacrifice first, gave his opponent a Scroll of Slowness, and took the lead in charging forward. This move was not only unprecedented, but also marked the first time a Beamon Priest had attacked a warrior.
As a Holy Knight, both Lampard’s armor and his Dou Qi could effectively resist the War Song Halo. Facing the charging figure, Lampard, with a long sword imbued with a great amount of golden Dou Qi, became dazzlingly bright, wielding a slanting blow against the double axes of Beamon Priest.
With a faint "clink" sound, Knight Lampard turned around and once again widened the distance. There was a flame burning on his broadsword, with the whole sword violently trembling.
Only one axe was left in Liu’s hand. Apart from the axe crafted from rare metal by the Berserker leader, the other steel axe was chopped off a chunk. Moreover, his tremendous strength was neutralized by the Dragon Knight’s spinning motion. Lampard’s long sword only grazed the edge of his axe, which was enough to get the impression of his great strength. The intuition of a strong warrior allowed the Dragon Knight to use his skill to compensate for his lack of strength.
